Hotels with sauna in Szekesfehervar

The Mercure is in a charming old building right at the entrance to the beautiful historic old town. The hotel itself is a bit old-school: small beds, but clean rooms

The city has a rich history and a great atmosphere, but hardly any tourists – for the first time in Hungary, I heard Hungarian all around me, and I loved it (I love learning different languages, but 🇭🇺 is really difficult)

What really makes the difference is the outstanding breakfast, incredibly kind and attentive staff, and the amazing pillows (I need to find out where to buy them!)

Lovely, clean hotel in the heart of the city. The breakfast was amazing with lots of variety. The ratatouille was absolutely delicious—kudos to the chef! 🫡

A hidden gem – both the hotel and the city I only booked a night in Székesfehérvár because Budapest was too expensive – and I’m so glad I did

The location couldn’t be better – step outside and you’re in the middle of a vibrant pedestrian zone full of cafés, bars, shops, and life

The hotel is very nice. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. The location is near to the centre of city. But most important are the hotel staff. Everyone is very kindly, friendly and very helpful.

centrally located cozy hotel, you got everything under one roof. delicious buffet breakfast, restaurant with wide range of food selection, friendly staff, parking. highly recommended.

The hotel is very close to the city center, with a large supermarket a 10-minute walk away. The rooms are spacious enough. The downside is that drinking water is not provided

The checkin was superb, under 5mins and i had my key and the rooms are incredible with every facility, very highly recommended

The hotel is located right next to the White Castle Old Town, in a very quiet area. The Old Town is just a short walk away, and there are many small restaurants with delicious food.

Everything was very nice, only the breakfast selection was less than I expected. Everything else was very good.

Adrian at this hotel provided tremendous customer service that was above and beyond what is expected. He found me different accommodations after I was stuck without a room due to no fault of his own

While understandable given the time of year, it was still inconvenient. On the bright side, instead of the triple room we had originally booked, we were upgraded to a two-bedroom apartment, which was a welcome surprise

Okay breakfast could be much better, the mattress was too uncomfortable for me, and to get to the power outlet I first had to remove an ancient cobweb... otherwise functional and centrally located.

However, the downside is that the hotel hasn't been renovated in a long time and is in need of a thorough deep clean. Despite daily housekeeping, dust and mold are visible in less accessible areas

One major drawback was the heating system. Although it was mid-May, the heating was turned off, and the ventilation only blew cold air, even when set to warm

Great hotel! From the road, it looks like a run-down old building, but inside, it's more than fine! The pool is fantastic, the food and drinks are good, and the breakfast is extensive. The rooms are spacious and clean.

I did, but the waiters didn’t seem to like me doing that with my luggage, they stood looking at me with grumpy faces and didn’t offer me any help even though it was obvious that I was lost and needed help I managed to find reception and got checked in fine, there is no separate bar, but reception does seem to sell some soft drinks, wine & beer from a cooler behind them

Plus the bath wasn’t one designed for a shower so it had a curved bottom (instead of a flatter one) and no grips, it was very slippery when wet and even though I held onto something as I stepped in slowly, I slipped a few times Wifi was good throughout the hotel

There was AC in the room but it was loud so I had to turn it off at night and when it was on I didn’t really feel it cooling the room Breakfast was a buffet with the usual options, bread / pastries, fruit, yoghurt, cold meats, hot eggs and other options

My room happened to be a family room and I had to walk through a large child’s toy play area to get to my room. The key to the room is an actual key with a large keyring so it doesn’t quite fit easily into your pocket
