Grand Tiffany Hotel

We camped children in Balatonlellé, we accommodated them here. Unfortunately, I can't really write a positive experience except that the place is close to the beach, shops, restaurants, and the ladies at the reception are really nice. You cannot stay in the rooms during the day between 8 am and 10 pm in the summer, it is so hot, not even a fan was installed, which would otherwise help the situation a lot. Unfortunately, it is unnecessary to mention the climate. The bedding didn't smell nice at all, the mattress had various stains, and it didn't help that we had to hunt huge spiders every day. The mosquito net is pure dirt, torn in many places. Not only the rooms, but also the common areas downstairs were not clean, there was dust on the TV. In principle there is wifi, practically it never worked. The walls are covered with nickel and wood panels in places where it might have gotten wet or something happened to it, not really pretentious. If someone gets a room on the square + stage side, you have to expect that the workers there are already smoking, sighing and cursing under the window at 5 in the morning. There is no problem with the music still playing outside at night, of course, it's summer, everyone is having a good time. But unfortunately, you can't have a restful sleep either in the evening or in the morning because of the noise. For a family with small children, this can be a nightmare. We can say that it is retro, it has its own atmosphere, but the place could use some renovation and more thorough cleaning. It's a shame it's so neglected. The meals were in the restaurant next door, where we got a very small portion each time, and the cold lunch was a dry bun with a mini fried meat and some paprika in the middle, but the servers were very attentive and nice, despite the size of the portion, the food was delicious. It would also be advisable to change this.

The music played all night, and based on the condition of the rooms, the Hotel Besúgó could be the perfect filming location. Not worth it for the price. The receptionists are nice, therefore 2 stars, otherwise the rooms need to be renovated. It is unlivable in its current state.
