Crocus Gere Bor Hotel Resort & Wine Spa in Villany

When you walk into the hotel, you're greater with the scent of essential oils, it relaxes you. Service is excellent My room was cosy, spacious and clean. Wine guide books available for sale at the bar.

We stayed in a large room at CROCUS RESORT. The room is tastefully decorated and has a balcony. This room has a large comfortable bed and a bathtub. The Mandula restaurant at the hotel serves delicious food of very good quality. The staff is very kind and helpful. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to relax in the spa, who wants to eat well and drink excellent local wines in the restaurant.

I had the immense pleasure of visiting Crocus Gere Wine Hotel this autumn. As a solo traveller, I was a bit worried that I would be out of place, but that was quickly put to rest. The staff greeted me very kindly, the treatments I had at the SPA (and I had plenty!) were super relaxing and professionally conducted. The room was nice, and had a comfy bed. The hotel's restaurant serves delicious food (shout out to paprika cream soup), and a wide range of wines from Gere Attila's winery. All in all, I had a lovely stay and it was worth every penny! My sincerest gratitude for the hospitality goes to the whole Crocus team!

The hotel is located in the perfect location for anyone looking to explore Villány and enjoy the wine. The rooms, restaurant and spa are first rate, with staff that went above and beyond to make our stay with them all the better. We will definitely be visiting again soon.

My partner and I took a road trip through Hungary. And we took the opportunity to do a wine tasting in Villány visiting the A. Gere winery and staying at the Crocus hotel. Right on arrival, they very kindly offered us a tasting with a visit to the winery. The tasting led by sommelier Tóth was extraordinary, as was the visit to the cellar. Later we were able to savor the delicious dishes offered by the hotel restaurant with Tóth's good pairing advice. He, very attentive, offered us to end the dinner with a shot of Palinka. Despite only spending one night at the hotel, we were able to enjoy a relaxing time at the full spa. And the next day we enjoyed a very good breakfast. A highly recommended place

We had a superb trip to Hungary and in this hotel. The hotel is very clean, nice rooms and the service was amazing. We enjoyed the friendly staff, the outstanding food and wines. I can highly recommend this hotel to anyone and we will definitely come back. Thanks for hosting us

We had a 3 nights stay at the Crocus and took one of their corner suites on the first floor. It offers ample space and overlookes the inner courtyard and the adjacent vineyard. The suite was clean and very well maintained, the large bathroom is sort of separated into three areas - a separate toilet at the right, a sink and space for toiletries in the centre, and a walk in shower on the left. As a special goodie, this suite features a hottub in the living area close to several windows to enjoy the view. The bed is comfortable, and the sofa can be turned into a bed, too. The suite also had a nice terrace. The spa area is very pleasant as well, offering a reasonably big pool, another sitting pool and a small whirlpool. The sauna area is available upon request and leaves nothing to be desired. Breakfast can be enjoyed both indoors and outdoors, and offers local and traditional Hungarian dishes and options. Bonus: They offer frizzante from their own winery, too. Parking is avilable without problems, usually right in front of the entrance, and free of charge. Staff is very friendly and welcoming, which completes the great impression we had.

It's clean, comfortable and comfortable. The wine tastes great and the food is also delicious. Highly recommended.
