Danubius Hotel Rába

Gyor, Arpad ut. 34 (in the centre) 🧭

Located in the town centre, a short walk from railway station. Good choice for breakfast. Room functional, just bathroom was compact.

Really comfortable hotel at a decent price. Handled our late check in (2am) without a blink of the eye and breakfast was spot on. Highly recommend A++++

The location is great, especially if like us, you're travelling by train (or bus). Our room was tiny, very drab, and not even a picture on a wall to cheer the room up. A kettle and hospitality tray would have made our stay better. It's rare to find such meanness in a hotel these days, and the only one out of the four we stayed in that didn't supply us with one. At breakfast, there was quite a good...

Next stay booked at a very short notice. Excellent as always. Even during high season the price/quality ratio is basically unbeatable. From the check-in until check-out, the staff, the room, the breakfast. Everything is excellent.I hope it stays that way.

The room was large, spacious, and clean. The hotel's central location was very convenient for getting around. However, parking for guests was insufficient. Also, the breakfast buffet was quite limited, offering few choices.

Room was really dirty. Carpet was not really clean, with throwaway cups from last guests. I caught a cockroach myself. Had to shorten my stay, also had to change my plan to visit Budapest... :-( Breakfast was okay in variety and quality, but there were too many guests and staffs were not so professional, nor attentive (although there were many of them).

ibis Gyor

Gyor, Szt Istvan Ut 10b (in the centre) 🧭

The staff was nice and friendly, the room was clean, and the bed and pillows were comfy. For breakfast, guest can choose between hot and cold options. Excellent value for Money.

Very nice hotel. Clean and tidy. Staff is very professional. Special thank to reception and also Petra from reservation.

Everything ok.Clean room, everything is in its right place- ergonomics are good.Bed is surprisingly good.Breakfast is excellent.Overall I would highly recommend for short excellent stays at a very decent price.

It seems that this hotel remained untouched by renovation but still clean. Parking underground is mostly for small cars. 10min walking distance from city center. Breakfast is basic but ok.

The hotel is in a good location, close to supermarkets and the city center, and it's easy to walk

The location is a bit far from the train station, but the service staff is great

Garzon Pláza

Gyor, Vasvári Pál utca 1. (2 km from centre) 🧭

Good place with quite zone in this city. Easy to walk to any where.

It was not clear on the booking that this is an Attic room. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, always had to be alert not to hit our heads in the ceiling. Asked for an other room but it was all booked.

The hotel was nice and clean. The breakfast was great, diverse and they always refilled everything so you can sleep in and still get a pancake. The pool was great and the hot tub was amazing. Only problem was that you can’t get to the 3rd floor in an elevator as it goes only to the 2nd floor. The apartment was nice and big.

Ok Place Nothing bad, just a typical three star place with a below average breakfast.

The environment is quiet, there are shopping malls and 3 supermarkets nearby, and the hotel parking is free, which is quite convenient

Overall, it is not as good as domestic hotels

Klastrom Hotel

Gyor, Zechmeister utca, 1 (in the centre) 🧭

A very good place to stay. Spacious rooms. Quiet. Good breakfast. Parking available outdoors. Beautiful place aside the river.

Very good and quiet hotel . Excellent breakfast. I mean a five because service is very good, the rooms are quiet an very large. It is an old building with high ceilings.

We chose the hotel for one night because of the Christmas markets. Perfect proximity to the center and parking right in front of the hotel for 6€ per night. Older but cozy hotel. Close to everything. We had a completely sufficient breakfast (for us). I recommend it

Superb. A wonderful historic building with great staff. All were engaging and pleased to talk. Breakfast was a treat and wide covered. The hotel is wonderfully situated in the historic sector of Gyor. This is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful place

Hotel Klastrom is outstanding. It is well situated on the riverside in Gyor, a superb town that is well worth a visit. We were overwhelmed by the welcome and helpfulness of all staff. The room is spacious and scrupulously clean, the breakfast was well presented and prepared. I recommend this hotel.

Located in the city center, with the old street right next door and plenty of restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets nearby, it's quite convenient. Parking is right outside, but there's an extra charge. The city isn't very big; you can walk around the famous shops in half a day. Breakfast is rather monotonous, just something to eat.

We did not stop at the hotel but had Aperol here in the evening & breakfast in the morning. Both were exceptional

Calm, quiet with a view of the river from either side. My room had a balcony which I didn’t get enough time on. One day may be long enough to explore Győr, but i would have enjoyed longer at this place.

Delicious food, friendly service and a lovely spot to eat in beautiful Gyor! Their indoor section is charming, and we enjoyed eating on their outdoor terrace. If we had time, I would have eaten there again and sat inside. We stayed in Gyor for 3 days and this was our favorite dinner. I can highly recommend their steak topped with fried onions and potatoes. It’s a huge portion, tender and delicious...

One of my favourite places to have a relaxed lunch in Győr. The food is superb, the staff is professional and the place is gorgeous, especially in summer when you can sit on the shady terrace. They make good steaks which is not common.

Amazing place with great prices, waiters are very polite and funny. Should definitely try the desserts! Close to the city centre

Nice restaurant in the heart of Győr, on a small island. The food is excellent, there is a good selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes and the portions are big enough. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. You can enjoy the view from the outdoor terrace.

Barokk Hotel Promenád Gyor

Gyor, Kenyer Koz 4 (in the centre) 🧭

We stayed in Gjör for one night. Although we made a mistake when booking the room, we weren't charged extra. The staff corrected it for us. The hotel is very central, not far away from the parking.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Barokk Hotel in Győr for one night, and we couldn't have been more impressed with the hospitality. Even though our stay was brief, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. They were kind enough to hold our luggage for the entire day so we could tour the city comfortably without hauling bags. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and a great start to our morning...

First option in Gyor! Great location in old town. Staff is pleasent and helpfull. They reat you with big attention. Breakfast is quality. Public parking garage is close to the hotel. Every recomendation for this hotel!

Gyor is a beautiful city within a 2 hour drive of Budapest. Definitely worth stopping! This hotel was perfect. The only drawback was that there was not lift which was difficult for my 78 year old mother. We managed and were very impressed with the property, the staff and breakfast the following morning. I would definitely come back to this hotel for a future visit.

Located in very nice neighborhood and 100 meters from the underground parking garage. Very clean and big rooms. The rooms are very nice decorated and there is everything what you need in a hotel. Staff was extremely polite and did everything to make our stay comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The French toast with cheese is recommended 😋. Not suitable for disabled people and people with heavy...

Barrok Hotel is in an excellent location close to many restaurants and shopping. It is just off the main square providing for a very quiet stay but very close to all of what the Promenade has to offer. It is very close to the underground Dunakupa parking lot. The hotel is in a walking only area and you cannot drive your car in front of the hotel to drop off luggage or check in. You must park you...

Hotel Kalvaria

Gyor, Kálvária u. 22/D (in the centre) 🧭

For travelers by car this hotel's highlight is the spacious parking area in an indoor yard.

Rooms were nice, mattresses ok, staff very accommodating 😊

I didn't miss anything. Approximately 18 minutes walk to the city centre. Accessible parking after passing through the gate - a big plus. Breakfast was sufficient for me. There was everything I wanted, the rooms were clean, neat. Tidy in every room. I will definitely choose this hotel on my next trips to Gyor!

Clean hotel. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Paid parking, but secure and spacious. Reception open 24/7, and the reception staff speaks English. The city center is a 15-minute walk away.

Great place to stay to travel anywhere. Spa facility is a plus and private parking provides easy access.

Decent hotel and offer sauna is a plus. Included breakfast is also great. Walking stairs with luggages is no fun.

Révész Hotel

Gyor, Út Hédervári 22 (in the centre) 🧭

The hotel was easy to find. The room was very clean and warm. The reception is 24 hours occupied and the service was very good. The young man at the front desk tried hard to find me a place to eat late in the night on a week day. They have a good parking place with cameras just outside the hotel. Next time I shall try the SPA as well.

It was a real pleasure staying at your hotel. Was clean with kind people and a good quality. I wish you all the best and I will come back soon. Thank you for your service.

The location was not import for me so i could not comment , the room was clean but dated , it did not affect my stay, value for money , it was very good, no noise , the spa was a bonus The staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble , breakfast was ample.

I really enjoyed my stay in this cozy and comfortable hotel. Everything was great - clean room, tasty and rich breakfast and spa. The place is not far from the city centre and Raba Quelle Thermal Spa.

Old place but kept good condition. Water pressure was low. Great location to old town.

Fantastic hotel! Really friendly staff, excellent breakfast and good spa!

WHB Hotel

Gyor, Juharfa u. 11 Ipari Park,Juharfa u. (5 km from centre) 🧭

Clean and nice rooms, but was cold in autumn. Tasty breakfast and friendly personal. If you travel in car it's good location, but without car it will be difficult.

Rooms are cozy and clean. Breakfast was pretty good and variety of products was sufficient. No shampoo nor shower gel in the bathroom.

If you need to stay overnight it's ok. The private parking is nice. They rooms are a bit dirty... But again it works for a overnight stay. There is no restaurant nearby so if you arrive late you need to take a taxi to the city center.

You can eat menu each day, but you have to go early. Sometimes they ran out of some popular meals at 12. The quality of the food is nice.

Fonte Hotel

I spent last two nights in the hotel, and it was absolutely great. Friendly staff, clean rooms and calm hotel. Rich breakfast buffet. I can recommend this hotel, would definitely come back :)

Reiseglad pensjonist Nice hotel in the center of Gyor

Very convenient located Hotel Positive: Very convenient location. Large Room. Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel in good condition. The table setting in the breakfast room was outstanding. Room to improve: Breakfast could be improved - more fresh products/ lfruit, no oil/vinegar, Room 101 - the shower head was leaking. Maybe a little bit more focus on details required.

The hotel's breakfast has good selections. Room is clean and spacious, but there isn't any shelves to hold shampoo, body gel and soap in the shower. We stayed at the room facing the street, and you could hear cars and people talking bellow the closed window after midnight.

Close to Gyor's attractions Very good hotel close to the old city center, not far from the railway station. This hotel has a pleasant style, it is located in the old building yet with a modern look, nice furniture, clean bathroom, good breakfast.

Cycling east Wonderful hotel. Location, staff and breakfast all great. Super value.

Hotel Baross

Small friendly hotel, located about ten minutes walk from centre. Good choice for breakfadt, which starts at 06:00 everyday.

A lovely and welcoming hotel experience! The atmosphere was clean, cozy, and inviting. Breakfast offered a generous variety of options, thoughtfully adapted for both adults and children — truly something for every taste. We also appreciated the convenience of free parking in the backyard. A great choice for families and travelers alike!

Beautiful city, and the hotel, just perfect. Ideal location, quiet, intimate, with just outstanding personnel, friendly and respectfull, the owner is just brilliant. I will for sure visit this place every time I can.

Very nice hotel. Rooms are very comfortable. Only a 10 minute walk to the station and city centre. Staff was very friendly. In the morning they are serving a good breakfast. You can park the car at a private parking place.

What a wonderful, fairytale hotel. What a friendly staff. How comfortable beds. If I ever go through Győr again, I'll stay here again. They also have parking, which is also important. I am thrilled. I liked it - that warm New Year's atmosphere, I just needed to see Santa Claus - even if it was fake, and I would believe that I was in my childhood and that a fairy tale was happening to me. I may have...

The rooms are clean, practical and have everything you need. There is a convenient parking.

Amstel Hatty Fogad

Gyor, Töltésszer útca 18 9025 Gy r,Töltésszer útca (in the centre) 🧭

We've been here for Valentine's day menu and the food was excellent. Best was the main course, they really know what to do with meat. But the best part of the whole experience by far was the gentleman who was our server. Best server we ever met, even though we don't speak hungarian. Friendly, funny and helpful. We really recommend this restaurant.

Zita, lady who worked at the front desk was absolutely helpful and proffesional, we need more people like her. The hotel itself is "okay", rooms clean, breakfast nice. It has a sauna, but the room has enough space to put a jacuzzi in, so do it please. One more time-Zita very very kind and helpfull.

We were in the hotel Amstel - Gyor from 17 to 19 August this year. We are fascinated by everything. Amazing service, delicious food in good quantity, close to the old center, clean and well maintained rooms, staff speaking perfect English. Moreover, we bought vouchers in February and due to the COVID crisis we had to change the date of our accommodation 3 times. And the staff communicated with us with...

Rooms are clean and after renovation. Stuff is very friendly and helful. The biggiest issue is bad breakfast. Fruit and vegetables was already not edible, bakery old and very linited offer what to eat. Practically bread and butter maybe with jam or salami if you take a risk.Hotel restaurant was closed at that time.

It's really nice here. The staff was unexpectedly nice and the decorations were creatively designed. I have spent time mostly on the second floor: it has enormous windows with beautiful views. The meal was also great, but not the best I've eaten. My biggest complaint is the restroom, because I found it really small for a building this huge. I recommend the place to try!

I am staying in this hotel and dining in the restaurant for over 5 years. Here I find real Hungarian hospitality, no matter how late I arrive at night. Very friendly owners and staff, great food. The owner is a sommerlier and reached me a lot about great Hungarian wines. In summertime there is a terrace at the board of the river.

Normal hotel, a little bit noisy due to the club in the neighborhood.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Bakery next door, and a bar across the road. With Secure walled Car park

Very good familly hotel at walking distance from Gyor downtown. Very clean rooms and environment. The check in was a little bit long as the receptionist was new in this position and was not speaking easily englush. Nevertheless we have received good support to print our train tickets. Good breakfast as well. Very good ration price vs quality

Very nice breakfast offer + clean bedrooms. Very close to the station.

Perfect stop for resting with the kids after a long drive from Braşov, Romania, on our way to the UK. After 12 hours on the road, this hotel felt like a real blessing for us.

The hotel clean ( I liked), but the don’t have good service (I mean the reception only in the morning, the internet not good and the location is not good ! ) Me personally I will come again to this hotel because it’s very clean as I said ! I will not share pictures, because you good check the location in the google maps and some pictures in the hotel website.

Excellent apartments, excellent reception desk staff, high quality of cleaning service. All recommendations.

Comfortable stay, very nice and helpful staff. Breakfast is simple (eggs, cheese, toast, jam etc) Coffee machine available for all day use AC in room

Room was really good, breakfast good, staff was very nice. Only that when I searched hotels., I found this with 66 e and it says including breakfast , I start to make booking, the price went 75 e (breakfast and booking fee). Ok I said, let's take it. in the morning I checked the price, was 78 e, ready to pay 78 at the reception, I got invoice 81 e! (78 +3 e fee). So the price was from 66 to 81. Not...

This place was awesome! I would recommend to anyone that will be traveling to Gyor, Hungary.

Again pet hate unmanned Hotel. Says restaurant as a facility but does not exist. This is why I booked here so big let down. Lots of driving only to discover I have to drive again to find food.

Kind and professional staff on duty. Breakfast not terrible. Rooms clean. Not within walking distance to the city center but in perfect location for travelers on their cars.

Good night sleep and good breakfast and coffee.

Nice host and Goodyear breakfast

Nice host. Clean and nice rooms. Free parking place. Good value for the money. Excellent location for one night stop while traveling to western Europe. I definitely recommend.
