The staff was nice and friendly, the room was clean, and the bed and pillows were comfy. For breakfast, guest can choose between hot and cold options. Excellent value for Money.

It seems that this hotel remained untouched by renovation but still clean. Parking underground is mostly for small cars. 10min walking distance from city center. Breakfast is basic but ok.

Good place with quite zone in this city. Easy to walk to any where.

It was not clear on the booking that this is an Attic room. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, always had to be alert not to hit our heads in the ceiling. Asked for an other room but it was all booked.

The hotel was nice and clean. The breakfast was great, diverse and they always refilled everything so you can sleep in and still get a pancake. The pool was great and the hot tub was amazing. Only problem was that you can’t get to the 3rd floor in an elevator as it goes only to the 2nd floor. The apartment was nice and big.

Ok Place Nothing bad, just a typical three star place with a below average breakfast.

The environment is quiet, there are shopping malls and 3 supermarkets nearby, and the hotel parking is free, which is quite convenient

Overall, it is not as good as domestic hotels

Great location but otherwise ok .. A dated hotel but good level of cleanliness Breakfast was not good; limited and cold. I also asked the reception if there was any water (either for sale or spare) and was told to go to a nearby shop which i thought was interesting…

Comfortable and quiet with a good breakfast

The hotel is fine, not new but still in okay condition. It was clean and the personal was nice and helpful. The instructions how to get there are really difficult to follow but we asked around and managed.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Good breakfast and nice rooms. It was clean and special requests such as an extra pillow were dealt with immediately. The location is ideal, as the hotel is right in the center and so you are right on the spot. In addition, the thermal spring/aquapark is only a few meters away.

Great peaceful hotel . Really clean. Surrounded by all the shops and bars . 10 min walk from the main station, good breakfast . Staff friendly . Would certainly stay here again

Very good and quiet hotel . Excellent breakfast. I mean a five because service is very good, the rooms are quiet an very large. It is an old building with high ceilings.

We chose the hotel for one night because of the Christmas markets. Perfect proximity to the center and parking right in front of the hotel for 6€ per night. Older but cozy hotel. Close to everything. We had a completely sufficient breakfast (for us). I recommend it

Hotel Klastrom is outstanding. It is well situated on the riverside in Gyor, a superb town that is well worth a visit. We were overwhelmed by the welcome and helpfulness of all staff. The room is spacious and scrupulously clean, the breakfast was well presented and prepared. I recommend this hotel.

Located in the city center, with the old street right next door and plenty of restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets nearby, it's quite convenient. Parking is right outside, but there's an extra charge. The city isn't very big; you can walk around the famous shops in half a day. Breakfast is rather monotonous, just something to eat.

Good wellness, overprized restaurant

Strange place to stay, seemingly lost in time. Very dark rooms and an odd / unknown method to access the bar or restaurant. However great squash courts and sauna/ swimming pool

Not a four stars hotel. The hotel is definietly not 4*, it's dark, dated and old. The room was clean, but you can see that they only spend money on maintenance if they need to. Cracked sink in the bathroom, with the cheapest handsoap/no shower gel or shampoo provided. No kettle or other tea/coffee making facilities, the minibar is super expensive. The breakfast was very basic, with limited options...

The hotel isn't a 4 star one, maximum 3. This hotel is very "old", and it seems they only spend money on maitanance if it's absolutely needed, cracked sink in the bathroom, missing tiles in the pool area, dated decor. The hotel itself is very dark, with dark lampshades. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. However, I found the breakfast very disappointing, with close to no items on offer...

The staff is very friendly and gave a tour guide in the hotel

We did not stop at the hotel but had Aperol here in the evening & breakfast in the morning. Both were exceptional

Calm, quiet with a view of the river from either side. My room had a balcony which I didn’t get enough time on. One day may be long enough to explore Győr, but i would have enjoyed longer at this place.

Delicious food, friendly service and a lovely spot to eat in beautiful Gyor! Their indoor section is charming, and we enjoyed eating on their outdoor terrace. If we had time, I would have eaten there again and sat inside. We stayed in Gyor for 3 days and this was our favorite dinner. I can highly recommend their steak topped with fried onions and potatoes. It’s a huge portion, tender and delicious...

One of my favourite places to have a relaxed lunch in Győr. The food is superb, the staff is professional and the place is gorgeous, especially in summer when you can sit on the shady terrace. They make good steaks which is not common.

Nice restaurant in the heart of Győr, on a small island. The food is excellent, there is a good selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes and the portions are big enough. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. You can enjoy the view from the outdoor terrace.

Gyor is a beautiful city within a 2 hour drive of Budapest. Definitely worth stopping! This hotel was perfect. The only drawback was that there was not lift which was difficult for my 78 year old mother. We managed and were very impressed with the property, the staff and breakfast the following morning. I would definitely come back to this hotel for a future visit.

Barrok Hotel is in an excellent location close to many restaurants and shopping. Really nice hotel in the town centre. Clean and homely feel to the rooms with everything well kept and in good order. This is our absolute favorite place in Gyor. We keep coming back. The staff goes above and beyond to help you in every way. It is beautiful, spotlessly clean and in a great location. The hotel was easy to find. The room was very clean and warm. The reception is 24 hours occupied and the service was very good. The young man at the front desk tried hard to find me a place to eat late in the night on a week day. They have a good parking place with cameras just outside the hotel. Next time I shall try the SPA as well.

The location was not import for me so i could not comment , the room was clean but dated , it did not affect my stay, value for money , it was very good, no noise , the spa was a bonus The staff were excellent,nothing was too much trouble , breakfast was ample.

I really enjoyed my stay in this cozy and comfortable hotel. Everything was great - clean room, tasty and rich breakfast and spa. The place is not far from the city centre and Raba Quelle Thermal Spa.

Very convenient located Hotel Positive: Very convenient location. Large Room. Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel in good condition. The table setting in the breakfast room was outstanding. Room to improve: Breakfast could be improved - more fresh products/ lfruit, no oil/vinegar, Room 101 - the shower head was leaking. Maybe a little bit more focus on details required.

The hotel's breakfast has good selections. Room is clean and spacious, but there isn't any shelves to hold shampoo, body gel and soap in the shower. We stayed at the room facing the street, and you could hear cars and people talking bellow the closed window after midnight.

Close to Gyor's attractions Very good hotel close to the old city center, not far from the railway station. This hotel has a pleasant style, it is located in the old building yet with a modern look, nice furniture, clean bathroom, good breakfast.

Clean and nice rooms, but was cold in autumn. Tasty breakfast and friendly personal. If you travel in car it's good location, but without car it will be difficult.

Rooms are cozy and clean. Breakfast was pretty good and variety of products was sufficient. No shampoo nor shower gel in the bathroom.

If you need to stay overnight it's ok. The private parking is nice. They rooms are a bit dirty... But again it works for a overnight stay. There is no restaurant nearby so if you arrive late you need to take a taxi to the city center.

You can eat menu each day, but you have to go early. Sometimes they ran out of some popular meals at 12. The quality of the food is nice.

Very good service. We were expected although we arrived after check in hours. The rooms are nice though it was very hot the day we arrived and the bathroom was a real sauna. The children were excited with the toys room where they spent the whole morning. The breakfast was ok. Gyor is a wonderful city. Will definetly come back!

Very cute little family-run hotel. The rooms exhibit some hints of the city's Baroque-style and the breakfast is incredible. It's very close to the city center too. The walls are thin though, so you better keep quiet after 10pm.

Comfortable, nice, the rooms have enogh space, the bathroom is new and clean. The atmosphere is good. Breakfast is good, too

We've been here for Valentine's day menu and the food was excellent. Best was the main course, they really know what to do with meat. But the best part of the whole experience by far was the gentleman who was our server. Best server we ever met, even though we don't speak hungarian. Friendly, funny and helpful. We really recommend this restaurant.

Zita, lady who worked at the front desk was absolutely helpful and proffesional, we need more people like her. The hotel itself is "okay", rooms clean, breakfast nice. It has a sauna, but the room has enough space to put a jacuzzi in, so do it please. One more time-Zita very very kind and helpfull.

Rooms are clean and after renovation. Stuff is very friendly and helful. The biggiest issue is bad breakfast. Fruit and vegetables was already not edible, bakery old and very linited offer what to eat. Practically bread and butter maybe with jam or salami if you take a risk.Hotel restaurant was closed at that time.

It's really nice here. The staff was unexpectedly nice and the decorations were creatively designed. I have spent time mostly on the second floor: it has enormous windows with beautiful views. The meal was also great, but not the best I've eaten. My biggest complaint is the restroom, because I found it really small for a building this huge. I recommend the place to try!

I am staying in this hotel and dining in the restaurant for over 5 years. Here I find real Hungarian hospitality, no matter how late I arrive at night. Very friendly owners and staff, great food. The owner is a sommerlier and reached me a lot about great Hungarian wines. In summertime there is a terrace at the board of the river.

Again pet hate unmanned Hotel. Says restaurant as a facility but does not exist. This is why I booked here so big let down. Lots of driving only to discover I have to drive again to find food.

Kind and professional staff on duty. Breakfast not terrible. Rooms clean. Not within walking distance to the city center but in perfect location for travelers on their cars.

Good night sleep and good breakfast and coffee.
