The location is great, especially if like us, you're travelling by train (or bus). Our room was tiny, very drab, and not even a picture on a wall to cheer the room up. A kettle and hospitality tray would have made our stay better. It's rare to find such meanness in a hotel these days, and the only one out of the four we stayed in that didn't supply us with one. Next stay booked at a very short notice. Excellent as always. Even during high season the price/quality ratio is basically unbeatable. From the check-in until check-out, the staff, the room, the breakfast. Everything is excellent.I hope it stays that way.

The room was large, spacious, and clean. The hotel's central location was very convenient for getting around. However, parking for guests was insufficient. Also, the breakfast buffet was quite limited, offering few choices.

Room was really dirty. Carpet was not really clean, with throwaway cups from last guests. I caught a cockroach myself. Had to shorten my stay, also had to change my plan to visit Budapest... :-( Breakfast was okay in variety and quality, but there were too many guests and staffs were not so professional, nor attentive (although there were many of them).

Hotel very nice overall, clean and comfortable. Only criticism was the a/c which they restrict to 23c, when it's nearly 40c outside guests should have the option of making their room cooler.

It was not clear on the booking that this is an Attic room. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, always had to be alert not to hit our heads in the ceiling. Asked for an other room but it was all booked.

The hotel was nice and clean. The breakfast was great, diverse and they always refilled everything so you can sleep in and still get a pancake. The pool was great and the hot tub was amazing. Only problem was that you can’t get to the 3rd floor in an elevator as it goes only to the 2nd floor. The apartment was nice and big.

The environment is quiet, there are shopping malls and 3 supermarkets nearby, and the hotel parking is free, which is quite convenient

Strange place to stay, seemingly lost in time. Very dark rooms and an odd / unknown method to access the bar or restaurant. However great squash courts and sauna/ swimming pool

Not a four stars hotel. The hotel is definietly not 4*, it's dark, dated and old. The room was clean, but you can see that they only spend money on maintenance if they need to. Cracked sink in the bathroom, with the cheapest handsoap/no shower gel or shampoo provided. No kettle or other tea/coffee making facilities, the minibar is super expensive. The breakfast was very basic, with limited options...

The hotel isn't a 4 star one, maximum 3. This hotel is very "old", and it seems they only spend money on maitanance if it's absolutely needed, cracked sink in the bathroom, missing tiles in the pool area, dated decor. The hotel itself is very dark, with dark lampshades. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. However, I found the breakfast very disappointing, with close to no items on offer...

Really good place to stay, handy for shopping mall when Air France loses your luggage. Close to centre of town and the university. Food quality and service is excellent. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.

The hotel was easy to find. The room was very clean and warm. The reception is 24 hours occupied and the service was very good. The young man at the front desk tried hard to find me a place to eat late in the night on a week day. They have a good parking place with cameras just outside the hotel. Next time I shall try the SPA as well.

The location was not import for me so i could not comment , the room was clean but dated , it did not affect my stay, value for money , it was very good, no noise , the spa was a bonus The staff were excellent,nothing was too much trouble , breakfast was ample.

I really enjoyed my stay in this cozy and comfortable hotel. Everything was great - clean room, tasty and rich breakfast and spa. The place is not far from the city centre and Raba Quelle Thermal Spa.

I didn't miss anything. Approximately 18 minutes walk to the city centre. Accessible parking after passing through the gate - a big plus. Breakfast was sufficient for me. There was everything I wanted, the rooms were clean, neat. Tidy in every room. I will definitely choose this hotel on my next trips to Gyor!

Clean hotel. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Paid parking, but secure and spacious. Reception open 24/7, and the reception staff speaks English. The city center is a 15-minute walk away.

Great place to stay to travel anywhere. Spa facility is a plus and private parking provides easy access.

Comfortable and quiet with a good breakfast

The hotel is fine, not new but still in okay condition. It was clean and the personal was nice and helpful. The instructions how to get there are really difficult to follow but we asked around and managed.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Good breakfast and nice rooms. It was clean and special requests such as an extra pillow were dealt with immediately. The location is ideal, as the hotel is right in the center and so you are right on the spot. In addition, the thermal spring/aquapark is only a few meters away.

We chose the hotel for one night because of the Christmas markets. Perfect proximity to the center and parking right in front of the hotel for 6€ per night. Older but cozy hotel. Close to everything. We had a completely sufficient breakfast (for us). I recommend it

Hotel Klastrom is outstanding. It is well situated on the riverside in Gyor, a superb town that is well worth a visit. We were overwhelmed by the welcome and helpfulness of all staff. The room is spacious and scrupulously clean, the breakfast was well presented and prepared. I recommend this hotel.

Located in the city center, with the old street right next door and plenty of restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets nearby, it's quite convenient. Parking is right outside, but there's an extra charge. The city isn't very big; you can walk around the famous shops in half a day. Breakfast is rather monotonous, just something to eat.

Perfect stop for resting with the kids after a long drive from Braşov, Romania, on our way to the UK. After 12 hours on the road, this hotel felt like a real blessing for us.

The hotel clean ( I liked), but the don’t have good service (I mean the reception only in the morning, the internet not good and the location is not good ! ) Me personally I will come again to this hotel because it’s very clean as I said ! Really nice hotel but has a small parking area inside the property. Also it’s a bit hard to find, the GPS past by the hotel and I was not able to find it until I saw a hidden sign with the hotels name.

Were visiting family and spent the night here on both the outward and return journey. We had superior rooms in the new part of the hotel. Nice spacious room and excellent bathroom. The hotel has a closed parking lot behind the building. It is located in a residential area, so you will not encounter a restaurant while walking. That turned out not to be necessary, because the hotel has an excellent kitchen...

The location is central, just a 12-minute walk from the Old Town. The guesthouse is charming and clean. There is also a courtyard where you can park your car for free, which is a great convenience. I can’t comment on the breakfast, as we chose to have it in the city, but overall, it’s a good place to consider for your stay. Enjoy

We stayed two nights at this wonderful hotel while visiting my mother who lives a couple house down the street. Everything was impeccable clean and important to mention it has been fully renovated. We got room 13! but it was spacious with finest sheets, towels and decor. The room was very spacious and looked down to the small and quiet street. Very friendly staff and very accommodating. We traveled as a family and they were quick to prepare the room according to our specific wishes. It is affordable, close to the center and also close to the highway if you travel through the country. I Can highly recommend. Good and varied breakfast.

Calm, quiet with a view of the river from either side. My room had a balcony which I didn’t get enough time on. One day may be long enough to explore Győr, but i would have enjoyed longer at this place.

Delicious food, friendly service and a lovely spot to eat in beautiful Gyor! Their indoor section is charming, and we enjoyed eating on their outdoor terrace. If we had time, I would have eaten there again and sat inside. We stayed in Gyor for 3 days and this was our favorite dinner. I can highly recommend their steak topped with fried onions and potatoes. One of my favourite places to have a relaxed lunch in Győr. The food is superb, the staff is professional and the place is gorgeous, especially in summer when you can sit on the shady terrace. They make good steaks which is not common.

Nice restaurant in the heart of Győr, on a small island. The food is excellent, there is a good selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes and the portions are big enough. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. You can enjoy the view from the outdoor terrace.

Clean and nice rooms, but was cold in autumn. Tasty breakfast and friendly personal. If you travel in car it's good location, but without car it will be difficult.

Rooms are cozy and clean. Breakfast was pretty good and variety of products was sufficient. No shampoo nor shower gel in the bathroom.

If you need to stay overnight it's ok. The private parking is nice. They rooms are a bit dirty... But again it works for a overnight stay. There is no restaurant nearby so if you arrive late you need to take a taxi to the city center.

You can eat menu each day, but you have to go early. Sometimes they ran out of some popular meals at 12. The quality of the food is nice.

Very good service. We were expected although we arrived after check in hours. The rooms are nice though it was very hot the day we arrived and the bathroom was a real sauna. The children were excited with the toys room where they spent the whole morning. The breakfast was ok. Gyor is a wonderful city. Will definetly come back!

Very cute little family-run hotel. The rooms exhibit some hints of the city's Baroque-style and the breakfast is incredible. It's very close to the city center too. The walls are thin though, so you better keep quiet after 10pm.

We've been here for Valentine's day menu and the food was excellent. Best was the main course, they really know what to do with meat. But the best part of the whole experience by far was the gentleman who was our server. Best server we ever met, even though we don't speak hungarian. Friendly, funny and helpful. We really recommend this restaurant.

Rooms are clean and after renovation. Stuff is very friendly and helful. The biggiest issue is bad breakfast. Fruit and vegetables was already not edible, bakery old and very linited offer what to eat. Practically bread and butter maybe with jam or salami if you take a risk.Hotel restaurant was closed at that time.

It's really nice here. The staff was unexpectedly nice and the decorations were creatively designed. I have spent time mostly on the second floor: it has enormous windows with beautiful views. The meal was also great, but not the best I've eaten. My biggest complaint is the restroom, because I found it really small for a building this huge. I recommend the place to try!

I am staying in this hotel and dining in the restaurant for over 5 years. Here I find real Hungarian hospitality, no matter how late I arrive at night. Very friendly owners and staff, great food. The owner is a sommerlier and reached me a lot about great Hungarian wines. In summertime there is a terrace at the board of the river.

The price is normal, the service was also, the only thing I'm taking off a star for is that a woman was singing around 4am and woke us up, otherwise the elderly gentleman at the reception was funny

Really nice place to stay, the hotel keeper is friendly and accommodating and it was fairly quiet. Abit annoying he lets pets stay but that’s a positive for some so generally a lovely little accommodation.

We had a late arrival. Even though we woke him up, the receptionist didnt care, he was even making jokes in Hungarian that only he understood. He was 70 years old. The room was probably older than him (and te TV even more) but it was cute. All in all a nice experience. Maybe a little bit pricey for this part of the planet..

Again pet hate unmanned Hotel. Says restaurant as a facility but does not exist. This is why I booked here so big let down. Lots of driving only to discover I have to drive again to find food.
