Next stay booked at a very short notice. Even during high season the price/quality ratio is basically unbeatable. From the check-in until check-out, the staff, the room, the breakfast

The room was large, spacious, and clean. The hotel's central location was very convenient for getting around. However, parking for guests was insufficient

Really comfortable hotel at a decent price. Handled our late check in (2am) without a blink of the eye and breakfast was spot on. Highly recommend A++++

A kettle and hospitality tray would have made our stay better. It's rare to find such meanness in a hotel these days, and the only one out of the four we stayed in that didn't supply us with one

Guests were filling up their own water bottles from the dispenser, which is really unhygienic, and the waitresses didn't have their lovely long hair tied back, which is also a hygiene issue

Very nice, awesome staff, great food, rooms simple, modern and clean. The pool and thermal pool, together with the sauna and jacuzzi are just perfect!

Very nice hotel. Good food. Room service jus changed towels for all 5 days. No additiinal caffe or tea or cleaning??? Staff frendly. Very far away from the city or stores. You can rent bikes for 10 euto/days

The room was very clean and modern, i could not find any dust, even on bathroom radiator, really impressive. The bed was very confortable and had a view to the lake. You have plenty of car parking and the place is quiet

A sport hotel, simple and functional, so expect no soft carpets in the rooms. But, the room was clean and spacious. The bed somewhat harder, but comfortable. There is a lake behind the hotel with a walking path

The breakfast was great, diverse and they always refilled everything so you can sleep in and still get a pancake. The pool was great and the hot tub was amazing

The swimming pool doesn't have warm water, not sure, maybe over 20 degrees, just that i didn’t feel "invited" to enter because of the temperature. Other people found it useful, especially after the sauna

2) room noise, we couldn't hear any sound, maybe also affected by the non presence of anyone next to us. 3) swimming pool and jacuzzi, very nice feature, small, but nice

Only problem was that you can’t get to the 3rd floor in an elevator as it goes only to the 2nd floor. The apartment was nice and big

PRO: 1) cleaning, the Place was smelling of detergents since we stepped in the receptions, you notice people cleaning around everywhere in the morning, the room was spotless

Decent, clean, tasty, convenient We stayed in apartment 209 nd the 2 radiators in the room were not working, only the radiator in the bathroom worked

Best in Györ Wonderful staff. Great breakfast and walking to everything so easy. Staff knowledgeable and given recommendations for restaurants were amazing.

Accomodated in a side building, penthouse, with no AC. Very warm outside, very warm inside. A sad vent-fan did the work very hard. And we had to ask for the towels. Kind of bad accomodation for 4 stars hotel

We chose the hotel for one night because of the Christmas markets. Perfect proximity to the center and parking right in front of the hotel for 6€ per night. We had a completely sufficient breakfast (for us)

A wonderful historic building with great staff. All were engaging and pleased to talk. Breakfast was a treat and wide covered. The hotel is wonderfully situated in the historic sector of Gyor

It is well situated on the riverside in Gyor, a superb town that is well worth a visit. We were overwhelmed by the welcome and helpfulness of all staff

Located in the city center, with the old street right next door and plenty of restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets nearby, it's quite convenient. Parking is right outside, but there's an extra charge

Strange place to stay, seemingly lost in time. Very dark rooms and an odd / unknown method to access the bar or restaurant. However great squash courts and sauna/ swimming pool

English spoken by almost all staff that we dealt with. The spa was clean and has good sauna and steam rooms with jet pools and swimming, all at a good temperature

Amenities Not good. Even the advertise the pool, you can not use it for free. Need to pay

Cracked sink in the bathroom, with the cheapest handsoap/no shower gel or shampoo provided. No kettle or other tea/coffee making facilities, the minibar is super expensive

There are 2 jakuzzies and one larger pool. The saunas are nice and clean. My only problem was that there is drinking water by the saunas but there are no glasses provided

The hotel isn't a 4 star one, maximum 3. This hotel is very "old", and it seems they only spend money on maitanance if it's absolutely needed, cracked sink in the bathroom, missing tiles in the pool area, dated decor

The location was not import for me so i could not comment , the room was clean but dated , it did not affect my stay, value for money , it was very good, no noise , the spa was a bonus The staff were excellent,nothing was too much trouble , breakfast was ample

The room was very clean and warm. The reception is 24 hours occupied and the service was very good. The young man at the front desk tried hard to find me a place to eat late in the night on a week day

Beautifully vintage furnished hotel & rooms with a lot of wooden details and art around. Parking, welcome drink, sauna (!) and breakfast included in an already very nice price

Tasty barbecue restaurant (we decided to dine there), amazing draft beer, even a cherry beer on draft. Good quality, highly diverse continental breakfast

They have a good parking place with cameras just outside the hotel. Next time I shall try the SPA as well

We got room 13! but it was spacious with finest sheets, towels and decor. The room was very spacious and looked down to the small and quiet street

We stayed two nights at this wonderful hotel while visiting my mother who lives a couple house down the street. Everything was impeccable clean and important to mention it has been fully renovated

WE got breakfast in the small and charming restaurant space in the bottom. The eggs was made to order as well as the coffee. We couldn't be more happier and definitely return in our next visit

Secure The location of this hotel was excellent a short walk into town and 20 mins walk to the river.I ride a motorbike and the parking was secure

I liked it - that warm New Year's atmosphere, I just needed to see Santa Claus - even if it was fake, and I would believe that I was in my childhood and that a fairy tale was happening to me

Only a 10 minute walk to the station and city centre. In the morning they are serving a good breakfast. You can park the car at a private parking place

Clean and nice rooms, but was cold in autumn. Tasty breakfast and friendly personal. If you travel in car it's good location, but without car it will be difficult.

Rooms are cozy and clean. Breakfast was pretty good and variety of products was sufficient. No shampoo nor shower gel in the bathroom.

If you need to stay overnight it's ok. But again it works for a overnight stay. There is no restaurant nearby so if you arrive late you need to take a taxi to the city center

You can eat menu each day, but you have to go early. Sometimes they ran out of some popular meals at 12. The quality of the food is nice.

Great little chalet style hotel in the middle of Gyor. Manageress was incredibly hospitable with a bunch of teenagers and small children rolling into the place at 9pm. Rooms are clean, warm and tidy

Very cute little family-run hotel. The rooms exhibit some hints of the city's Baroque-style and the breakfast is incredible. It's very close to the city center too

We were expected although we arrived after check in hours. The rooms are nice though it was very hot the day we arrived and the bathroom was a real sauna

Really nice place, warm feelings. Gabro, the owner, I think, is very nice old man from first seconds we were in Also it's cheaper, than anything in town. Yes, it's not luxury hotel. But it is cozy guest house

The older gentleman, who I assume was the owner, came to greet us. We only speak English, and he did not, but he was very patient and communicated with us that there were unfortunately no rooms

Note: I'm not sure about this part as we were trying to communicate between two languages, but we got the impression that he was asking us if we'd made a reservation on Booking. com and that it's not always accurate

He had a very bad limp but still took the time to come out, down and up the stairs, to let us know we could come in. Yes the place is very basic but it's also very cheap and clean

We showed up without a booking at 23:30 as we were driving late and needed a place to stay for the night. The door was open and there was a doorbell to ring in the reception

No problem arriving at 9PM, with two dogs, and our room had entrance from the street. Very nice! Clean, and a nice host too! We recommend this price worthy hotel!

Approximately 18 minutes walk to the city centre. Accessible parking after passing through the gate - a big plus. Breakfast was sufficient for me. There was everything I wanted, the rooms were clean, neat

Clean hotel. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Paid parking, but secure and spacious. Reception open 24/7, and the reception staff speaks English. The city center is a 15-minute walk away.

Great place to stay to travel anywhere. Spa facility is a plus and private parking provides easy access.

Again pet hate unmanned Hotel. Says restaurant as a facility but does not exist. This is why I booked here so big let down. Lots of driving only to discover I have to drive again to find food.
