Not far from shops and eateries. Unfortunately it was a Sunday and none of the shops were opened. So not much to do. Next to petrol station. Room is fine. Service is fine.

Hotel in good location, next to super market and eateries, quiet at night. Room is clean, comes with great heating, bed is comfy and clean (except pillow a bit soft). Shower water pressure is strong and easy to control water temperature with stable hot water. Will recommend this hotel for anyone visiting this area.

Centrally located close to domestic airport, gas station and supermarket. Hotel appears to be converted from an old building but is nicely maintained with a charming lobby. Room size is bigger than other Iceland hotels. Shower is only separated from toilet by a shower curtain, so bathroom would get a bit wet but not a big issue. Both dinner and breakfast are good. The rooms are average, and the restaurant is a feature of the hotel, with an antique feel. There is a horse farm nearby, and there is a smell in the air.

A hotel in a great location. The room has a window and table that looks like it came out of Chekhov's comedy, and the view outside the window is also like that. This made us feel very good. The hotel has its own charging pile but we didn't use it because when we arrived at night and parked our car, we thought it was a parking space for disabled people. Nothing wrong with the cottage we had, but e.g. the shower drain did not work properly. The breakfast was good, but more attention to tidiness while more people use it, is appreciated.

The cabin we originally booked was too hot in May, so luckily they changed our room!

The room was sunny and clean. Although small, it was well-equipped. The only downside was the soundproofing, which could be improved. But for a B&B, the environment was great. Although it's a bit far from the city center, parking and viewing the northern lights were both very convenient!

She asked me where I was going the next day and how to get there, fearing a road closure or something would delay my trip (but I ended up breaking the traffic ban and going to the Professor camera position on Prometheus. The overall environment is quite comfortable

The room was so clean and lovely! The beds absolutely comfortable, and the staff were so kind and genuine. I felt very safe here, and enjoyed the beautiful complimentary breakfast they offered! Would happily stay here again!

There are not many hotel options in Eilstadır. This hotel is one of the least choices. It is right in the town, convenient for refueling and traveling, but the price is a bit expensive compared to the hotel facilities.

I saw the most beautiful aurora at 1001, which added a lot of points to the hotel. For me, the lack of a kettle or coffee machine in the room was a defect, and there was nothing to drink.

Beautiful location! Extremely comfortable rooms! Only negative is the kitchen facilities didn’t work ideally for cooking. Stove is subpar. Would recommend to anyone and stay again though!

A very cosy, clean and convenient place to stay if you are exploring the area. We stayed just for 1 night and it was perfect. There is a microwave oven also in the room to warm up ready meals from the supermarket if you are on a budget.

Didn’t expect the room to be of hotel standards. Spacious, nice toilet with huge shower, a small efficient kitchen equipped with everything we need. Table for 2 to done on, table for 2 outside the patio for us to have breakfast during the summer. And we had the best sleep on the softest bed:)

The Rooms are spacious and with well equipped facilities such as Microwave, minibar fridge, Electric Kettle, bowl, spoon+folk, cups and free coffee & tea pack ! Bathroom is good, water pressure is strong. The location is a bit away from the town means low light pollution and is a good spot to see aurora !

Nice apartment in a good location. Not too close to the city, so its still dark and you can get a great view on auroras. Also not too remote. You are in the city in a few minutes and at Vök baths also in 3 minutes. The room was clean and spacious enough. Water in the shower was hot and we had no complaints. Definitely would come again.

Very nice and comfy room for a reasonable price. Room and bathroom were very clean. No kitchen, but only a microwave and a fridge in the room. So be prepared to bring some microwavable food.

Nice affordable bungalow. Well placed. Self checkin with a code to get the key. It's a 2,2 stars equivalent hotel room. No luxury just the necessary basics to spend the night. Isolated from external noises (distance). The view is mainly on grass fields, the lake is too far away.

Lovely cottage! We had hoped to see the northern lights but it was too cloudy, but we didn’t mind too much. This cottage was the perfect place to stay for the 3 of us! There was plenty of room, hot showers, a perfectly furnished kitchen, and very convenient to town. We loved our stay!

The property was lovely, with a good sized room. There is a lovely walking path around the property that I highly recommended! The included breakfast was tasty and well balanced with many options as well.

Surprisingly clean in the room and shared bathroom areas. There is a shared lounge area where you have access to hot water and utensils for meals. Staff were welcoming and breakfast had the standard Icelandic options.

This is the most cost-effective hotel along the way. It is about 10 minutes' drive from the town. The room is very clean, the mountain view opposite is very beautiful, and there is breakfast. Although there are not many types, it is enough. The public bath and toilet are not crowded. Overall, I am satisfied

Great location in Egilsstaðir, right across from the museum. Within walking distance of several restaurants, a gas station, and various shops. The accommodations are lovely - simple studio apartment with a large shower, fridge, microwave, and dishes. The mattress saved my back after a long car ride. I will definitely stay again if I come back to Egilsstaðir.

Well equipped, bath very clean, nice looking house and lovely decorated rooms. Small TV, breakfast was done 12h before and on a plate in the fridge. You have to catch your plate and eat in the room or shared kitchen. Very very nice host. Good located.

this place was nice, I even got upgraded and sent to a nice room across the street in their sister guest house. However I was situated directly opposite the bathroom, where other guests were in and out of throughout the night and other guests were talking and I could hear them. I had a bad sleep and it was ashame as I had to drive quite far the next day. I wouldn't stay here again for this reason.

We were given instructions on self-check in even when we arrived early. The whole guesthouse is cozy, clean & neat. It is 5 min walk to the grocery store. Shared bathroom is clean. Beddings are in good condition ( firm mattress & good duvet ) The downside is noise disturbance. We can hear the door opening /closing & footsteps to the washroom.

It was rather pricey for a campsite 4000 ISK for 2 people in a campervan. They take card payment. However the hot shower is included and the shower room is spacious and heated. There are 2 toilets and 2 showers at this facility. There is a common room which has a kettle but if you were cooking would need to bring your own portable stove.
