A pleasant guest house, with a large and clean common area. Although there is no breakfast, coffee and tea are available. It has a small kitchen that can be used to prepare small meals. The room was clean and with a great view.

Really good location and description of how to get there. Nice facilities, very clean, beautiful views. We had good size rooms, there are enough toilets for all of the rooms, kitchen facilities that you are able to use were good enough for us. We stayed there for one night but would not hesitate to stay longer. Not far away from it you could book a whale watching trip -that we did- so highly recommended to give it a go as well. The main city is not that far away so you can always get there for some food etc

A bit of a drive outside of Akureyri sits this beautiful little farm and guesthouse. They are surrounded by absolutely amazing scenery - nestled in between the mountains and the ocean. The lodge area is nice with good rooms and a shared common area and bathrooms and showers. There is a small bar on-site where you can get wine and beer, and coffee in the morning. The hosts have a great deck with a hot tub that they're more than happy to heat up for you when you're ready to use it.

There's some nice walking trails nearby with beautiful viewpoints overlooking the ocean as well.

I had a wonderful stay at Arnarnes. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. There is a hot tub with a beautiful view of the mountains. Absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a lovely night!

Had a really pleasant and peaceful stay on a farm with views of the fjord and the mountains near Akureyri. Immaculately clean, warm hostess, and a welcome respite. Would definitely stay again.

I can’t say enough good things about this guesthouse. Not only are the rooms incredibly clean and cozy, but the entire cottage is full of charming details that make you feel at home. Our host was extremely gracious and kind by making us fresh cookies with milk and tea when we arrived. My roommate and I had to leave before breakfast was served so our host made us a plate of food to take with us the next morning. This was by far the best guesthouse we have stayed at in all of Europe!
