Very cozy and welcoming palce. Is it not a luxury hotel, but you can enjoy and warm and welcoming room, great breakfast and very nice personnel. Would recommend

We spent our night in this hotel. A little bit dated but extremely clean, very nice staff. Breakfast was good with good variety of choices. Night call for the Aurora available.

A little expensive but there are not much choices there if you want to glacial hike and not drive too much early in the morning. Cheaper food options opposite which is also owned by them. The car park is too bright for the northern lights. They have northern light calls technically but I doubt they call.

This hotel is in a great location but otherwise is very basic. It has no soundproofing at all and you can easily hear everything people do in the rooms next to you or in the hallway. It does have the benefit of radiator heating, which you can turn off, so it doesn't get as uncomfortably warm as other hotels in Iceland. I loved staying here! The staff was kind and helpful. The room was cozy with a cool view of the glacier. The beds were comfy and the room was clean. The food for breakfast and dinner was delicious. Just be aware that dinner is expensive. I had chicken legs and my friend had arctic char and we both had dessert. Our meal together was close to $200 USD.

The best hotel near to the Glacier. The sauna and hot tub are amazing. The receptionist is very welcoming. Coffee ans tea are so delicious. Would come back.

Excellent amenities and food. Stayed here for one night before a glacier tour. It’s the closest hotel to the meeting point for the tours. The rooms are spacious, beds comfy, the food at the restaurant was INCREDIBLE! Especially the beef tenderloin. The whole staff was great too. Would recommend staying here to anyone.

The hotel's location is excellent. It has hot springs, a sauna, and even an aurora wake-up service, which is a really nice touch.

Beautiful hotel in a stunning surrounding. We stayed for 2 nights. Nicely decorated. Breakfast and dinner were good. However they charge fine dining prices which is too much and did not feel right. As there are no dining options nearby there isn’t really a choice.

This was by far our favorite (and most expensive) hotel we stayed at on our Iceland road trip. We only stayed here for 1 night but took full advantage of the outdoor hot tubs and the sauna. Location is good, as a mid way stop between Hofn and Hella. The room is very small. Breakfast is not bad Staff are friendly. View from the room is pretty.

Great location, close to the Bund, just 100m from the metro, and near Yu Garden. The room was spacious and clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Breakfast offered a good variety of choices. Overall, excellent!

My favorite hotel in Iceland. The room price can be high in certain days. But for most of time it's in reasonable price. It is he perfect place to see northern light as it sits in the middle of nowhere. That is being said, the restaurant in the hotel might be the only option you have. Perfect location, where you can see the aurora all around the mountains. The room temperature is perfect and you can adjust it besides the window . They have a perfect balcony, which you can go straight outside and put your tripod on the grass and take pictures freely. There is no light influence at night so I can directly see the dark sky

I was a bit skeptical stopping at this hotel in the middle of nowhere on a gravel road, but this hotel was wonderful!! Food was very tasty, staff were very welcoming and friendly, and rooms were spacious and clean. Each room has a deck for aurora viewing (which we saw both nights). Probably one of my favorite places we stayed.
