We stayed for two nights in August, the hotel and the staff are exceptional. The concierge was excellent as well as the culinary experience in the restaurant. Hotel Miramonti is quite basic overall. While the price is attractive, the interior feels very stripped down and somewhat outdated. The condition and furnishings did not really meet my expectations. Fine for a cheap overnight stay, but not ideal if you’re looking for comfort or a pleasant atmosphere.

Amazing service without being overbearing, and we highly recommend the Alpine room with a private sauna. Located right across two gondolas, this hotel was a perfect base for hiking trips. My partner and I visited for a skiing holiday in March 2026. We stayed in a junior suite which was really lovely. The staff in the restaurant were a bit off hand at times. The staff who provided lifts to the ski lifts were delightful.

Rooms are comfortable and have everything you need. Appartment for two has a separate room with king sinze bed, living room with sofa and kitchen with all necessary things including the dishwasher. Staff is very kind. Sauna is not free - 12 euros per person, and plus 5 for the robe. There is a ski room on the ground floor.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The facilities were nice (although a bit worn-out) and the apartment was spacious for our family of four. Oh and the bed was just perfectly hard for sleeping (I.e. not so soft that you sink in it). Pensione Valbona is a very excellent place to stay. It is friendly, comfortable, very clean and provides a good breakfast with homemade cake. Our host Carlotta was welcoming and helpful. We were seated really fast, despite the restaurant being almost full. Prices are slightly higher than average around the valley. No pizza here We ordered two grilled sausages with fries (salsiccia con patate fritte) and cotolleta alla milanese di tacchino (snitzel) and three bears. Excellent, genuinely friendly service in a beautiful setting. We only stopped in for strudel and drinks, but it was absolutely worth the visit. A place that makes even a quick stop feel special. Would happily return. If you come late, you might catch postcard views of the mountains.

This was my fourth ski trip staying at Alta Badia. This one is always my absolute favourite restaurant to visit for coffee or lunch! They have toilet on the same floor!! Although not always in the best condition. The food is great and it’s has great view facing a tiny church and the helicopter 🚁.
