Garni Raetia in Corvara

We only stayed one night, but it was a very enjoyable stay. Thye couple running the inn were very frinedly and welcoming, the location right on the main street of Corvara made it very easy to walk around the core of the town, the room was very tastefully decorate (with a balcony), and the breakfast spread included a wide variety of tasty items that you could choose from. Overall, although Corvara is quite a pricey town to stay in, it has a very nice atmosphere, and we would very much enjoyed our short stay.

What an amazing experience, from the clean beautiful spacious rooms, to the amazing breakfast on the deck. Walking distance to everything in town and the most gracious hosts you can imagine in Diego and Kate. I could not recommend it more and can't wait till my next visit

To stay in Garni Raetia is truly a wonderful experience. Hosts Kate & Diego are experts at making their guests feel special. As a guest you are warmly greeted and shown to one of their beautiful spacious rooms. Kate & Diego are always available and enjoy talking to their guests and giving advise of places to visit and the many walking route options in the stunning scenery of Alt Badia. Breakfast is something to look forward to each morning, whether eaten in the breakfast room, the 'Stua dal Te' or, weather permitting, on the beautiful terrace. The Stua dal Te is a delightful cosy room, open to non-residents, where you can relax and enjoy one of their great selection of teas, tempting deserts and ice creams or a light meal. Garni Raetia is perfectly situated in Corvara, being close to shops, supermarket, restaurants, bus stop and the Col Alt gondola. We have stayed in Garni Raetia four times in under four years, so we can thoroughly recommend it!

Kate and Diego were amazing hosts!! They were helpful in providing great recommendations. The breakfast each morning was delicious and the view was spectacular! Would highly recommend to anyone who asks.

What a wonderful piece of paradise. We visited at the end of May. The weather was very friendly to us. Many huts were still closed in the vacuum between winter and summer season.

The rooms are great, the views are stunning, the Tea room (Stüa dal tê in local language, with 60 types of tea, of which many self composed) a very cosy place to relax, extensive breakfast buffet, plus eggs made to order, but what made our vacation excellent were Kate and Diégo. Every morning after the abundant breakfast, Kate came to the table to explore the hiking possibilities of that day. Which huts are open, which hikes match our level, which restaurants are open and recommended. etc. We had an amazing holiday. And, whatever we requested, Diégo or Kate made it work..

The nature around Corvara is stunningly beautiful, with views on the Sella Ronda massive, many flowers and animals.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel in September and had an incredible time. The owners were wonderful and eager to help with hiking, biking, and food recommendations every day. They made us feel totally at home. The breakfast was delicious and it was perfect to have a place to get an afternoon snack or dessert and digestif in the same building. The staff were all friendly and fun to talk to as well. We could walk to everything we needed but had convenient parking for our rental car too. This was the best hotel experience we’ve ever had! If we get to come back to Corvara in the future, we will stay here every time.

An absolute wonderful stay! Kate and Diego are probably the most welcoming hosts you’ll ever meet and made us feel at home from the moment we stepped inside the door. They have a lot of knowledge of the area and all the possible activities, and gave us excellent advice on biking and hiking routes (even checked if we were ok when hiking back from the mountains in a thunder storm!) The hotel is small and charming, with nice outdoor facilities, clean rooms and a delicious breakfast. Highly recommend!

Very nice and comfortable experience, thanks to the location of the Garnì in the center of Corvara which is a stone's throw from the ski lifts, but above all thanks to the owner, very kind, extremely helpful, always ready to give explanations and advice, truly an exquisite person, who helped us pampered throughout the holiday. Staff always friendly and polite, clean and well-maintained rooms, always attentive to detail. Connected to the Garnì, accessible from inside, there is the bar always managed by the hotel owner, very nice, always well attended, with spectacular desserts, first and foremost the strudel, of a majesty and goodness that has no equal. I will definitely come back.

We stayed for seven nights in this garni in the heart of Corvara. Beautiful experience, a truly welcoming place, where you can enjoy your holiday in complete relaxation. The great strong point are the owners, always smiling and kind, ready to answer every question and provide invaluable advice. Breakfast with a very rich choice, both sweet and savory, typical and truly delicious products. Highly recommended!
