The hotel is very well situated and the staff can’t do enough to help. The food was excellent and the spa and wellness area was very welcome after a hard days skiing.
Very welcoming and helpful staff. Ideally placed for ski bus (second pick-up on route and 2 minutes from ski room). Be aware that the skibus runs from the hotel to the 2 closest ski bases in the morning only and in the reverse direction in the afternoon only. There are other buses available but not to the hotel door - be sure to ask at reception for a guest pass for free travel. Good quality dining...

Our overall experience was excellent. To a person, we found the staff to be most friendly and willing to help. Our room was most pleasant with wonderful views. The restaurant exceeded our expectations for both breakfast and dinner. We hardly recommend this whole wonderful hotel.
This is one of the better ski hotels I have stayed in and everything from the rooms to the amenities to the food & drinks to the staff was top notch! Rooms - the rooms were comfortable and ours had a balcony overlooking the mountains ensuring every morning you wake up to a great view. Amenities - the hotel is well-equipped with a spa with mutliple saunas, a steam room, a pool and a jacuzzi. Also...

Would definitely recommend this hotel food and accommodation excellent. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. This was our fourth visit to the Leitlhof and we have not been disappointed with the food and level of service . The Spa area is fabulous and all areas are kept very clean. The hotel adds little extras to your stay, Such as afternoon snacks and ski lockers as well as the...
We had a panoramic suite and the view from our room was wonderful. The entire experience was exceptional with a personal touch. During every meal we had the same designated table with our name on it. The food, the service, and the spa were incredibly good. We had one rainy day and we are glad we spent it in the hotel enjoying the wellness area. Would definitely come back here next time we visit the...
We had an amazing stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff’s professionalism and warm welcome made us feel at home. A special thanks to Lea, who was super nice and made our stay even more enjoyable. The spa area was the perfect place to unwind, and the rooms were impeccably clean and incredibly comfortable. Dining at the restaurant was a standout experience— the sommelier’s expertise...
Very nice hotel but only four stars not because it is not a nice hotel but because it aims to compete with the better hotels but it is not yet there. Mentioning just one potential peer, the Granvara in Selva is an exceptional hotel while this hotel has basically all the same things but always a level below due often to unfortunate choices instead of lower quality. For example, our room was enormous...
The hotel is in a perfect location for visiting some of the best parts of the Dolomites. We had a hire car and there was plenty of parking. But the public transport from San Candido was excellent and would have easily taken you to all the popular places. The hotel itself was beautiful, with excellent facilities. A great breakfast was included as well as afternoon snacks. The pool was a real bonus to...
We stayed for a week with 2 small children - a toddler and a baby. We loved this hotel - the views, the food, the staff! Our room was spacious and clean. Pros: - Room - large size, comfy beds, and good pillows, blackout blinds, terrace/balcony - Ambience and beautiful views - Attentive, kind and friendly staff - Amazing food (definitely worth going half board at minimum). Wonderful vacation! The Hotel Baranci in San Candido is truly top-notch. We particularly appreciated the kindness, professionalism, and friendliness of the owner and all the staff. The breakfast and dinner were plentiful and...
Great dinner with such a variety of appetizers and salads and good choice for the main course and unbelievable breakfast buffet. Everything from the owner, to his wife and son and the ladies working at the restaurant were doing everything possible to make our stay unforgettable. The great SPA was the cherry on the top of the cake.
Excellent hospitality, adequate room for 4 people, excellent half board service. Adequate spa in place. Silent. Great courtesy. Excellent location: walking distance to the train station, the ski lift and the center. Parking provided along the road which however has no exit and therefore very quiet.
Me and my parents stayed here in September with half-board condition. It was near Tre Cime in car distance and in a quiet place. Breakfast had various kinds of food and the taste was also good. You can also use sauna if only staying over two nights. And the personnels were kind and freindly, so we didn’t have any discomfort or problems. The only flaw was their shower booth. Quite cramped so had not...

My family and I stayed at the Hotel Brandl and can honestly say we had a truly wonderful holiday. From the moment we arrived, we found a welcoming, family atmosphere that made us feel right at home. We spent a week as a family in this hotel. The latter is located in a strategic and very quiet position in San Candido, perfectly connected to the area ski resorts. Comfortable and very clean environment, friendly staff, in particular Francesca and Irgo. Excellent and plentiful food. Spotlessly clean rooms. We will definitely be back next year.
Hotel a little dated but clean and comfortable, good breakfast and services. Location a stone's throw from the center

We stayed at this hotel from Saturday - Saturday March 26. We were a group of 3 friends so we had a double room with an extra bed. We loved our stay here! Great location and drivable to various Dolomites hikes and sights. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. We love this hotel. It's a beautiful old building in the middle of San Candido. It's immaculately kept. The food is outstanding, the best hotel food we've had consistently over a holiday stay. The hotel is in a great location, close to the city center and the train station, perfect for hiking. Convenient parking, good and varied food for all tastes, and both Mr. Walch and the staff were very kind and helpful. Our room, No. 48, was large and bright, with a large bathroom and a window. We arrived here with no expectations, as the hotel was booked by a tour company as our last night before we climbed into the mountains on the alta via 1. The young receptionist was exceptionally kind and friendly, dealing well with a mix-up about the rooms. It’s a medium-sized, slightly old-fashioned but very clean hotel that seemed mainly to be frequented by Germans and Austrians. One of the cool...

Check in was not great as they seemed to have lost our reservation even though we paid a deposit and they neglected to tell their customers that their reception is closed from 10-2. I had a very nice 4-day stay at Hotel Stauder. The rooms are well furnished with comfortable beds, good-sized bathrooms and small patios. I would call the decor traditional with modern accents. Perfect the pitch, five star+! Very-very dog frendly, tiramisu in the market the BEST!!! No worlds... (by Caravan)
This is our fifth time at the caravan park hotel, and each time is a better experience. Besides the usual great spa, we enjoyed the treatment area with a sports massage and a facial, which were really good. To top it off, dining with the cuisine proposed by Chef Saverio Fiore is worth the trip alone.
Caravan Park Sexten such a wonderful place to stay in the middle of mountains. Ideal place for unforgettable camping experience travelling with motor home. Facilities 10/10, can’t wait to come back!
Very nice and comfortable bungalow, during the week the spa area is with little people, so it was perfect, not so during week-ends. The restaurant was very pricey for the service. One waitress was very helpful and friendly, our server not so much, actually a bit rude. I asked a rare stake and it was almost well done. For this kind of prices I expect almost perfection !
Super experience! Most likely the best camp we have ever been to, but it is a bit too expensive. All the facilities are top-level—super clean and easily accessible. The only thing that unpleasantly surprised me was the extra bill for electricity, which was higher than my monthly electricity bill for a two-household home back home. ☹
Wow! This place is amazing. Gorgeous setting in the Dolomites. The spa contains a bunch of saunas- all different temperatures, humidities and “ themes”. If you’re into sauna bathing, that is the BEST! Staff is excellent.

Spa area is also nice, however it could be a bit bigger. The room was comfortable, breakfast was very nice with good choices and the dinner (we had half board) was delicious and always special. Definitely the best place in Valdaora and the surrounding area. It has everything one would expect in a 5 star hotel. Our room was spacious, clean, and well appointed. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were fantastic and the service was always professional and polite. The spa is one of the best I have ever experienced in a hotel. There is a small exercise room with sufficient equipment for a full body workout...
For six days my husband and I stayed at this wonderful hotel and spa while hiking in the area of Valdaora. What a treasure it was to relax here after a day of hiking and walking. The pool and sauna areas were a very relaxing place to unwind. From the moment we entered this hotel, we were taken with the hospitality of the staff. A welcome drink as we arrived was a pleasant surprise. Our room was...
Exceptional This hotel is exceptional in every way. Every single member of staff was friendly and professional. The food was some of the best we have ever had in a hotel. We couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. A wonderful stay in the dolomites.
Amazing Everything was amazing. Best hotel experience we’ve ever had
Adorable hotel with great amenities. Amazing and beautiful hotel with great amenities- from the full access spa, to the delicious food, and the central location. It made our stay in the Dolomites so memorable.

I can't imagine a better hotel for families with young children. Food, service, and childcare all outstanding. Easy access to skiing, hiking, and activities in nature.
We had a great time at the Fameli Hotel. The family Gasser and the hotel staff were very friendly, flexible and supportive at all times. In particular, we have enjoyed the delicious dishes offered at the restaurant (along with the great picks of wine), the kids amenities (Kids club staff was amazing), the swimming pools, the organised excursions and the beautiful view over our balcony. We will surely...
We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, especially the outstanding cuisine. The chef was creating true masterpieces every single day! Our children had a wonderful time as well, particularly with the creative arts activities in the kids’ area and, of course, the sky pool. Highly recommended for families.
Very child-friendly hotel with clean, comfortable rooms and helpful staff. The food was excellent, and the kids’ club offered plenty of fun activities. Lots to do in the surroundings, a great choice for families. We would definitely want to come back!
Do not expect a design 5* hotel. But a 5* in hospitality, adventure and entertainment. Also the food is very good and vegan or gluten free if you want so. Every night 3 menus and a kids menu.
This is our second visit in this family friendly hotel. The first time, we loved the location, at the edge of the dolomites (Pragser & Sextener Dolomiten are easily accessible (

Hats off to the best team in the hotel. They have excited our expectations waaaay above. Ski bus is just across the street. If someone wants calm and foodie chill out, we highly recommend them. Thank you for having us. Definitely comming back! 🤩😃
Nice clean rooms in the hotel, good value for money. Nice, polite staff, delicious food.
Cozy structure and very helpful staff; strategically located a few minutes (on foot) from the station. The varied and excellent cuisine. Relaxing in the sauna center and the garden. For sure we will return!
Just back from a week in this hotel, the cuisine is certainly our strong point, we have been touring South Tyrol for over 10 years but I must admit that as we ate here it has no comparison with other 4 stars. Traditional cuisine but refined and always with something more. Hotel with great attention to detail. Nice spa, working turkish bath (not taken for granted in this period), sauna, armocromia room...

Clean and cosy room with all the necessities. The person at the reception (who manage the hotel) is friendly. Close to the Alta Via 1 and many Tre Cime natural park trailheads. I did not try the free breakfast, but I am sure it is good too. I will definitely visit again. Highly recommend!
Very quaint hotel with spacious rooms, sauna and breakfast included. The friendly woman and her son who operate the hotel were extremely kind and flexible, going out of our way to ensure we had a great stay. We would happily return!
The location is good, there is a memorial park downstairs, the breakfast is very rich,
Rooms were awesome. Staff was super attentive. Hotel is next to a park which will be a plus but once per month there is a covert there and our night was the night. Heavy metal band playing very loud with lots of screams. After a long travel day we needed to chill and had to wait until 11 to do so.
This hotel is too close to the church . From six am in the morning every 15 min. bell keeps ringing till 10 PM. Breakfast time is from 7:30 am, first morning we came around 8:35 all the good breakfast was gone. owner did replenish some but it was not the same. From next day we started getting up early just for the breakfast because town has dessert place. The room was decent. The hotel is located on a hill, so you'll definitely need a car to get around. The views are beautiful, but remember to buy water beforehand as the supermarket in town is quite affordable. The room itself was clean, but the staff were surprisingly careless – someone actually opened our door without knocking, and it was early in the morning! Luckily, we're all guys, so we didn't...
Very good experience overall. I will come back again for the amazing view and environment
The location is fantastic, very convenient for visiting Tre Cime di Lavaredo and the Strudel Trail (Editor's Note: assuming '魔戒之路' might refer to a popular hiking route like Strudel Trail or another famous Dolomites path). The views are also great, and the breakfast is especially rich and varied. For Italy, the price felt very reasonable and offered excellent value for money.
Very clean, comfortable hotel. And very good location. Close to Cortina d’ Ampresso and be able to see nice mountains view from the hotel. 🥰
Nice view from our room. Friendly staff.
The building has been recently renovated, so it was neat, and the room was spacious, warm, and clean. It seems that amenities need to be requested from the front desk. The staff members were generally friendly, and the 15-minute drive to the city center is convenient. Our room had a wonderful view.

An absolutely exceptional stay at Hotel Hubertus. We traveled as a family across three generations – grandparents, daughter and son-in-law, plus our nanny – and everyone was truly impressed. Even our nanny, visiting for the first time,...
A very last minute booking but one which far exceeded our expectations. This hotel has a big heart - the pool, spa, architecture etc are all incredible and well documented but we were also so impressed with the personal service, the locally sourced, delicious and beautifully presented meals, the hikes in the snow, the fun outdoor activities on offer (the tobogganing was great fun), the perfectly appointed...
Extremely friendly staff everywhere. Location is a bit remote, but the hotel offers full board and it is of excellent quality with a nice variety and choices. Given the hotel's price point, it attracts a well off audience. Unfortunately some of the guests do not know how to behave in a luxury hotel, which can be disturbing. e.g. a cocktail glass left poolside, unproper attire in restaurants. The...
We went here for one week in March. It is hard to articulate how amazing and special this place is, but I will try. First of all, the staff are incredible. Beautiful views, incredible food, and very friendly service. The rooms are nice and clean, the food served is some of the best I've had, and all of the staff was so welcoming and friendly. Couldn't recommend them enough!
Amazing food and accommodation experience! Since the location to the food, everything was perfect! Additionally, we received an upgrade due to our engagement, what made everything even better! every thing was very close by and convenient. although we had a car there is a option for buses just right infront of the hotel. hotel rooms were very clean and with amazing views. staffs were friendly. breakfast was good. thankyou . highly recommend
Hotel was fine. VERY basic, but clean enough. It’s a 30 minute walk into town. Which is fine when the weather is good. Breakfast was ok, standard continental. Could have done with bread and a toaster. Rooms need a fridge to keep drinks cold. As there’s no bar or restaurant at the property. Lots to do round about.
A great stay. Fantastic views! Excellent stay, a really good breakfast & helpful staff. We were likely enough to be given a room with views of the alps. A big thanks!
Quite area far from hustle and bustle. Transportation can be challenging as bus may not be available on Sundays and taxi minimum is $25 no matter how short the ride is.

As is typical of Cortina d'Ampezzo, the facilities aren't modern. That's true everywhere else, so I have no complaints. The surrounding scenery is beautiful, so it's all forgivable! The only downside was the lack of an elevator, which made carrying luggage a bit of a hassle. The simple breakfast provided was also a nice touch.
Great base camp for the mountains Great hotel for access to the mountains, and to use as a base camp for any climbing/Via Feratta/MTB type trips. It's well located to walk into Cortina town. The general quality of the hotel and breakfast is very cheap and cheerful - however it's great for the price and location.
Loved the stay. Great location within walking distance to the city center via a dedicated pedestrian and bicycle path. Simple, but good breakfast. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!
My 4 star review is relative to the pricing of the hotels in the general area. Yes this hotel is fairly basic when it comes to the decor, amenities and the breakfast. But if you want fancy, then you'll have to pay fancy prices. It is an ideally located base for the valley and easily accessible to many of the peaks around by car. There is ample parking, it is a short walk to town for dinner. The room...
A good location which was a short drive/walk to all the major treks in the area. The room was spacious, cozy and well maintained. Not to forget the mountain views - simply stunning. Good location, 25 minutes walk into town. Staff friendly and helpful. Parking was easy just in front of hotel.
We stayed here for several nights in the middle of a June heatwave. The rooms were clearly newly refurbished an very clean. The beds were very comfortable. Overall, it was good, clean, and the breakfast was decent, but the rooms were a bit small.
While the lobby smells a little dated, our room had been renovated with wooden flooring, which gave it the pleasant feel of a homely cottage. The bathroom was still an older style, but it was clean.
We travelled around Italy 10 days and this was our favorite hotel. Rooms were very clean and the bed were softer and very comfortable. The staff was so friendly from the moment we arrived. We will definitely be back
Room was clean and breakfast was nice however ran out quickly and reduced restocking after first hour of sitting. Bathrooms clean too although very dated and curtains didn’t close properly in bedroom. Also rooms at front of property disturbed by road noise so request back of property room when booking to ensure restful nights sleep. Some of staff not very welcoming and friendly
The hotel is located on the outskirts of the small town, 1.4 kilometers from the town center. There is a bus stop nearby, a 22-minute walk away. Parking is right next to the road, and someone needs to watch the car when you come in and out. The rooms are a bit small, and the facilities are somewhat outdated. The owner and restaurant staff are both very friendly and attentive.

We stayed three nights over the Ferragosto holiday in a double room. The friendliness of the entire staff was beyond excellent, but it's a shame it's not worth the price. Hotel Alaska Cortina is in a great central location and the staff were all friendly and helpful. Our room was huge and the breakfast buffet was great. They also provided a nice packed breakfast on the day we checked out as we had a very early start. The only downside is that it is a bit dated, but that didn’t have any impact on our stay.
I arrived in Cortina d'Ampezzo by bus from Venice. The bus stop was in front of the church, the city's symbol, so it was a two-minute walk to the hotel, a two-minute walk to the main street, a 15-minute walk to the Tofana Gondola, and a 10-minute walk to the Olympic Center (bus stop for Tre Cime). The location was perfect. I recommend this hotel for those who want to fully enjoy the Dolomites using...
The location is good, but parking is difficult. Parking costs 40 euros per day. However, the front desk staff provided excellent service. The black employee who worked the evening shift was so friendly that it was the first time I felt like tipping in Italy.
Great location, but the rest was a letdown. The hotel is right in the heart of the city, which is super convenient. But beyond that, the experience was disappointing. We stayed one night, and honestly, that was enough. The room felt worn out and dusty, despite being “cleaned.” Air conditioning is centrally controlled, so during a heatwave, the room stayed hot all night—sleep was impossible. Parking...
Checked in at around 4pm. The service was relatively slow and we were required to write down our credit card details on a piece of paper which is uncommon for newer hotels. The card I was issued had issue and I had to circle back and forth to the reception which wasn’t the best experience.
We stayed one night, slept well, the room was spacious, and we had a good breakfast (which was brought forward upon our request). The only thing I can recommend is a sign indicating where the hotel parking is located (they're currently undergoing construction), and it was difficult to find. If I have the chance, I'll definitely return to that property.
