A hotel where many groups gather. It seems a bit far from the city. There's a swimming pool, and the room layouts vary considerably depending on the section you're in (newer or older). The bar is rather inefficient… we gave up trying to get a glass of white wine as an aperitif or with our meal. The staff isn't very welcoming (even rather curt). We stayed at this hotel for a few days, and I highly recommend it. It's a huge building, yet equipped with every comfort. Spacious and clean rooms, a half-Olympic pool and a children's pool, and also within the hotel is the "Factory," a fantastic pub/burger joint/beer joint/pizzeria. If you want to visit the sanctuary but also have some fun, we highly recommend this hotel. Nando & Pia

We chose a mid-range room and received a triple room with a balcony. The room! They are doing renovations and outside of the room, they built an extended patio for all of the rooms. Scaffolding everywhere, the room looked like a jail cell. There was a tiny refrigerator with water and a safe. The bathroom door didn’t close. It would have been nice to have prior notice rather than just walk into it

I liked the easy accessibility to St Padre Pio by simply crossing the street. The room was also very nice with a lovely pool to cool off. Excellent breakfast buffet. The parking however in the garage was insufficient & the elevators were a bit slow. Overall a great experience!

We were excited to stay at a place with a playground for our children, but the playground was a little worse for wear. The room was large, comfortable, and clean. It was nothing fancy, but completely adequate. Breakfast items could have been fresher.

The room was spotless! The receptionist took his time to provide more information on local bus transportation to Monte Sant’Angelo. The hotel is a stone’s throw away from Padre Pio sanctuary. They offer free breakfast with decent options.

Hotel San Pio is so convenient to stay near the bus station and walkable to church.

I stayed only one night at this hotel. It was very good — clean, and the staff was very friendly, at least the one who helped me during check-in. He spoke English, so I was able to communicate well with him. I don’t remember his name, but he was very kind. Honestly, it was a very good experience. I recommend it.

A more flexible checking in to allow hotel customers check in a little early with considerations for human conditions such as long hours of travel and the stress of being on the road for a day or two. Checking in at 11.00 am to 12-.00 pm. Will be helpful and boost the moral of the hotel.

Very close to the Sanctuary of Saint Pio of Pietrelcina, it is only 3-4 mins walking uphill, ideal location to stay for pilgrims. Also close to the hospital. There are a few restayrants nearby. The hotel is about 7-8 mins drive to the town centre. The room was clean, bowever, the shower was a bit too snall. Good air circulation in the room. The breakfast was just ok.

The hotel was in a great location, and it was very easy to walk to all of the places. The hotel staff, specifically Domenico, was very helpful with barking. The location was great for our visit. It was really close by the Padre Pio sanctuary and surrounded with several food options. The number one highlight was our service provided by Johnny who helped us and prepared us breakfast for our travels around SG Rotondo and to Mont Saint'Michel. Greeted by a very kind lady, she already granted us car parking in the space reserved for hotel guests, and even, considering the very cold and rainy day, she accompanied us with her car to the entrance of the large church... which anyway it is very close to the hotel restaurant.
