Hotel Monteconero in Sirolo

Very pleasant stay, the hotel crew is very friendly. The place shows its age but the overall feeling is good. It is a shame that mobiles phone have little signal and the hotel WiFi is very poor. If you need to use the internet for work, this place won’t work for you

Amazing views at the top of the mountain
Amazingly preserved hotel at the top of the mountain. The staff was so welcoming and helpful. The hotel restaurant was some of the best food we had in Italy. Many of the local restaurants and hotels had closed for the season but this hotel is a rare gem. There is a tennis court and a pool and plenty of hiking trails right from the property. Spa was nice as well.

The location of this place is amazing, and the rooms are reasonably priced. The staff is super friendly, and it has a great chill and relaxed vibe. The breakfast area is fantastic with an incredible view. We did have some issues with the internet, and the place could use a bit more attention to detail. Despite that, I’d go back and hope they make some improvements. It’s definitely saved on my maps!

This Hotel has the most spectacular view one could imagine,from the drinking bar and terrace and rooms. The road up from the base of the mountain is steep and has many hair pin bends.However when you arrive there is a beautiful courtyard where you will find the entrance and foyer.The rooms have air conditioning and are beautifully decorated. The food is excellent and the wine ,and the staff are all pleasant and helpful. The Monastery garden was pretty attached to the hotel ,and the swimming pool is lovely.

You first view this impressive hotel when you are travelling on the autostrada. It is perched on the top of the wooded mountain and has panoramic views. The hotel is in the style of a Spanish Parador with an old church dating from the 11 th century . It is definitely wrongly rated as a 3 star hotel. We received a friendly reception on arrival with good English from the staff - in particular Sabrina was particularly helpful on the phone before we arrived and throughput our stay. Our room was clean with efficient and comfortable air conditioning and a memorable balcony view along the coastline and with the Siblissi mountains inland . The American bar has a lovely terrace and Alfredo and his bar staff prepared good cocktails , snacks and drinks at a reasonable price . We were pleased to book half board and the dinner menu was excellent.Augustino the head waiter was attentive and described all the dishes with skilled pairing to the local wines . The dining room and terrace were particularly pleasant. Breakfast was varied and very good quality and again waiting staff were friendly and professional. There is a large clean swimming pool with plenty of sun loungers and shaded areas under the trees . The tennis court needs a bit of maintenance with net repairs and some moss removal but was playable . Reception staff were happy to provide walking trail routes to panoramic viewpoints and we would highly recommend 107 Conero cruises for a boat trip . There is a low cost 2 euros! transfer to Sirollo beach which works very well . After 4 days we left and were completely happy with all aspects of our stay at a very impressive hotel .
