This place is a gem. It has everything you could ever want in a resort on a small-scale, and yet, on a big scale because it's not a small place, it spreads over a few hectares of land, it is family run. It has a limited number of rooms, so it's never crowded. You got top rated top of the line service. The rooms are exceptionally clean, beautiful, modern and well designed, we're decorated and then this service. The service is the best service they have seen in resorts.
Breakfast is catered every morning. Everything is homemade by the wife. That is a chef, and the service is done by the actual owner. That is an amazing host. They are available for any service needed. They do not overcharge, you feel like you're at home, and then when dinner comes, they have the best 5 course meal every night. Set menu, and it's just amazing. A homemade food.

Small and quaint accommodation in beautiful grounds with stunning views. Absolutely brilliant hosts with friendly service going above and beyond. Food and wines are an exceptional standard. Close to Assisi and other beautiful destinations. Recommended!

This is a family owned and run operation and the hospitality was fantastic - they gave attention to every detail and made our stay a life time memory. We had the five course dinner under the pergola and evening skies and it was spectacular. The breakfast was also super. Wish we would of stayed for more than one night. We hope to return again and will highly recommend.

We had a great time . Everything was perfect and especially the welcome and constant thoughtfulness of Alessio. He even thought about my birthday. The place is super maintained, the swimming pool is magnificent and large for swimming. The quiet environment in the middle of olive trees. We dined every evening at the restaurant, family cuisine with varied menus and quality products. In short, the best and excellent memories.

We spent 3 nights at this beautiful facility. When you arrive, you will see a very peaceful surrounding. Hosts are exceptionally friendly, smiling every time, you can feel that you are very important for them, they help you to be relaxed. They will do everything for you to smile at the and too. Suits are very nice, clean, quite big to have a nice stay. At the big garden you can feel the smell of many flowers and trees. The size of the pool is enaugh to support as many guests as they could have. You have your own umbrella and bed with table, if you would like to drink some coctail, Alessio will fulfil your wishes. Evening dinners are perfect, everything is home made. Every day you can have a gastronomic tour, with a wide selection of wine from their small winary. And at the and I would like to mention the 3 dogs, Hope, Kira and Tequila. They are very friendly, they will escort you everywhere. Thank you again to give us so much love. We will come back to you! An idyllic location, tucked away on a quiet road overlooking the beautiful valleys and hillsides of Umbria. We could just sit there by the pool for hours and enjoy the views with just the sound of the birds. Alex is an awesome front of house. Very knowledgeable and always keen to engage in conversation about the estate and beyond, even recommending a restaurant in nearby Assisi when we ventured out. We had the loveliest time at Santa Maria Degli Ancillotti. This was our first trip to Umbria, and we were not sure what to expect as it is not as widely visited by Americans i sense. That is a shame, as we enjoyed our time in this area even more than our time in Tuscany. It is a beautiful, beautiful area, with great food and great people. Lots to see and visit, without at feeling at all touristy. The highlight of the trip was our visit at Santa Maria Degli Ancillotti. The facility is a small estate with a limited number of rooms. It is beautiful on every level, with a wonderful family that runs the place. Breakfast and dinner is served, and cooked by the family to serve to guests. The accommodations were first rate, and between the beauty of the grounds, the hospitality and great location, we will surely visit again. We just loved it.
