We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff in particular was very friendly. All facilities such as the swimming pool and the sauna are highly recommended. I think the authenticity and genuineness of the hotel is its strongest point. Personally I would say to the owners - Don't change it too much. Definitely don't start modernizing to much, etc.. Soon these will be the authentic gems that we will all be looking for again. And besides that the view and the place is just breathtaking. Rest and enjoy - that's all you need to do there.

A very special property. Amazing views we stayed in the building with the patios because we like to have outdoor space to relax we had the end unit which is really nice and more private with an incredible view. Would be a great place for folks that like to take small hikes they have many different trails. Great pool area one at the hotel and another on top of the property. The restaurant is wonderful with a real Italian feel with a Michelin star rating and reasonably priced. It’s worth the drive over the gravel road. We decided not to go site seeing and just relax here for the day! It’s so Beautiful! Julie at the reception is great very accommodating and helpful.

Randomly drove up the mountain to this resort to have dinner. The view was really nice and it was a very quiet and relaxed environment. The food was also enjoyable.

No air conditioning
The site is beautiful. It is hard to get to, but the views are amazing. The breakfast was excellent. The pool areas very well tended and lovely. Now the bad: although the listing states they have air conditioning, they don’t. The room we stayed at ( an upgraded unit) was a sauna by the afternoon and the only relief was a noisy fan going all night moving hot air around the room. The beds are very uncomfortable as well; incredibly hard. And the condition of the room, although generally fine, needed some upkeep. If the room had air conditioning (as listed), all else could be overlooked. But as it was it was close to impossible to sleep comfortably.

Not easy to get to, but worth the effort. Spectacular views and great hiking trails. The restaurant was wonderful and the wine list offered some delicious Umbrian wines, including Sagrantino. The breakfast buffet was over the top.

This is a wonderfully isolated property; quiet, restful and with amazing staff. Despite the isolatoin it is well situated for exploring Assisi and the suronding towns. The photographs capture the unique beuty of this place. The restaurant offers some of the best food I've had. For a basis we travel to Italy every spring. The excellence of service. The restauant manager takes great pride in the food and service. Nearly all the food is locally sourced. The only challenge with the property is getting there. The last mile into the property is an improved but rutted dirt road. We were in sports car and could not drive the final mile into the property. The staff generously would drive us to and from a parking lot below the town of Armenzano. The owner informed us that they are improving the road this month (May 2024)

This place is absolutely a paradise. I’ve been there for a weekend with my partner and we had a great time. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The resorts interior is magnificent and the nature around is amazing. Highly recommended.
