Stayed in this family run hotel for 2 nights to visit Monte Cassino where my Dad had been during the War. Adrianna, on reception, spoke excellent English and made us feel very welcome. We stayed in Minturno for a few nights in October and were pleasantly upgraded to a room with a balcony and view of the sea. Staff is very friendly and helpful, rooms are a good size, clean and comfortable. Breakfast has a wide variety of fresh pastries, fruits, cold cuts, and cheeses. Small, comfortable hotel located on the beach front. Small but well furnished rooms. Staff very kind, polite and helpful. They upgraded our room for free as they had a free balcony, thus giving us breakfast in the room. The tree has a private parking at a cost of € 5 per day. Hotel without too many ambitions but clean. Close to the sea (but in our case it wasn't important). For breakfast I can't fully express myself both because we had specifically asked for something light and because we were in low season. We stayed for a long weekend (Thursday-Sunday) at the Aurora hotel in Scauri to participate in a tournament on the beach. 2-star hotel but well kept, very clean and sufficient space. Great courtesy of the staff but facility is too aged. Not in a "classic" style way as the manager likes to say but because it seems that from 90s no upgrade has been made. Rust on windows fixtures and shower metal parts is not "classic" style. Poor quality of furniture, frayed bedcover. Too old for a 4 star hotel and the money value.

I was staying in this lovely hotel during June and this is the best location if you would like to combine excursions and beach holiday. I had a wonderful experience. We were at the hotel for 7 nights. Large and spacious rooms and well maintained. But that's the only good thing I can say about the location. It is located an hour from Naples, but apart from the bus there is no other convenient public transport. If you want to go to the beach and you don't care about food, Tora is a good place. I recently stayed in an apartment at Il Girasole for a week. Here's a list of areas that need improvement: The beds are old and don't allow for a good night's sleep. They're noisy and dusty. Although it was quite small, I had a front facing room so I got to enjoy the most spectacular view of the bay. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff are lovely, very friendly and helpful. Dinner each night was a 4-course delicious delight, and breakfast offered a variety of cereals, pastries, hot dishes and hot or cold drinks.
