B&B Il Girasole in Formia

It's like a family house..They were so friendly..Apart was big enough,but had old furnitures..Cake&tea not enough for breakfast so we bought something from market..Price good..

You can walk 200 m.and see the big sandy beach..We were there on September,so,many cafe-bar closed..
We prefered this season because not crowded,no any-many noise at night..Beaches are yours! ;)

Parking was easy & secure. Room H12 was clean & comfortable. Bathroom has been renovated. Some saucepans with lids & new fryingpans would be good. Larger cups also.

I recently stayed in an apartment at Il Girasole for a week. Here's a list of areas that need improvement:
The beds are old and don't allow for a good night's sleep. They're noisy and dusty. Furthermore, our double bed consisted of two single bed frames that weren't level, creating that annoying step. The whole thing was covered by an old, dusty bedspread. The biggest problem was the air conditioning, which was stuck at 22 degrees Celsius and impossible to adjust. Our air conditioner turned off on its own several times and wouldn't turn back on. We went to reception several times, and they couldn't resolve the situation either. This all happened on August 15th. Throughout all of this, it was impossible to open the windows, the mosquito nets were broken, and we were infested with mosquitoes. There were stray kittens outside on the terrace, and there was a risk they'd get inside. The cleanliness of the apartment was poor, with dust and cobwebs everywhere, and the kitchen and utensils were covered in grease and dirt.
Now I'll list the pluses: the location, close to the sea and the Deco supermarket, so you can even skip the car for the whole week if you want. Bath towels and bed sheets are included in the apartment rate, but they don't change them even on the third day. Luckily, I had a washing machine, which isn't a given in a beach house, so I did it myself. Private parking on their property is included in the final price, which means you can keep your car safe. Bottom line: it's a no-go; for the price you pay, you can do better!
