Agriturismo Isola Dei Calanchi - Guest House

I would highly recommend Isola dei Calanchi. People are wonderfully friendly and helpful, the location is stunning, the breakfasts are excellent and the room was possibly one of the cleanest and most comfortable I have ever had the pleasure to stay in. If I return to Abruzzo (and I hope I do) then I shall stay here again. Thank you for making me feel so welcome. Grazie mille :)

A magical, spectacular place, with exquisite and super helpful people. Friendly and welcoming owners, maximum comfort. You immediately feel at home, they are able to give a UNIQUE experience. Large rooms overlooking the panorama. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

We stayed 3 nights in this beautiful farmhouse set in a unique position between the Calanchi di Atri which are truly fascinating limestone formations. The rooms for two people were fully booked and there was still the apartment for 4 people that the host gave us at the same price as the rooms. The apartment (very clean with daily cleaning frequency) had a living room with open kitchen and large television with Sky channels (all), bedroom also with television and bathroom, air conditioning and ceiling fan, all tastefully furnished and complete for every need, to this must be added a private and panoramic patio where you can have lunch or just relax enjoying a wonderful panorama that stretched from the Adriatic Sea to the Gran Sasso chain. The garden of the farmhouse in front of our apartment was literally a natural balcony over the Calanchi and it seemed to be suspended above it… to see!
Exceptional breakfast with homemade and garden products and organized very well despite the covid limitations.
Finally, the host allowed us to check-in at 10:30 and gave us the availability of a late check out at no additional cost and which unfortunately we could not use because in the meantime a reservation for the following night had arrived. and therefore it was not possible to stop beyond the usual check out time, but the availability was highly appreciated by us.
The town of Atri is very beautiful and is close to the property and is definitely worth a visit.
We hope to be able to return to this beautiful place and congratulations to the family that runs it, truly friendly and helpful people.
A gem

Located right above the gullies, from any position you can enjoy a splendid view, the owners, Messrs. Davide and Lucia, extremely helpful, will immediately put you at ease, delicious and varied breakfast with Lucia's fantastic biscuits, our rooms and bathroom were very large and comfortable, equipped with air conditioning and ceiling fans, excellent cleaning, frequent change of linen. Location located in a strategic area, in a short time you can reach both the sea and the internal area for excursions to the various parks. Highly recommended

Wonderful view and very kind staff.. the best for perfect holidays
