Cristal Hotel Bari in Bari

I'm sorry, but this was one of the worst hotels I've ever been to. Go to any hostel or airbnb instead. The only good thing was that staff was really friendly and nice. Not speaking english. The first room we got was actually in such a bad condition we requested a different one. We were with an organized trip, so I'm not sure about the price, but I guess it is very cheap. The worst part is that the rooms are dirty and falling apart. Next thing is an awful smell of cigarets in the whole ventilation system. I do not recommend to get any food there also. Cristal - paint the walls, throw away those blankets with holes and super dirty curtains, patch up holes in doors, fix the heating if you say it will work and give people buffet breakfast instead of giving a portion of a few slices of ham on a plate for each.

Really bad, I don't recommend it at all, specially now during Corona. My stay ended up being not longer than 30 min as it was so bad. First I arrive to my room and there was a gigantic cockroach in the bathroom. After going back to the reception (and yes, the staff is really friendly, probably the only positive part), they gave me another room. Once I arrive to the new room I see a used band aid on the floor, which shows clearly that the room wasn't properly cleaned. In the end I had to leave the Hotel and book something else.
