Small budget hotel located in the city of Bari, within walking distance from the historic centre and shopping streets and at some distance from the public beach. The rooms are simple, modestly decorated. Option for economical vacation or stay for one night.

Restored: 1986

Location: in the centre of Bari, in the University district, 600 metres from the Central railway station of Bari, 1 km from the port, 11 km from Bari airport.

Consists of one 9-storey building.

The hotel has 77 rooms.

Beach: public sandy beach in 2 km from the hotel (3 coastline). Between the hotel and the beach road runs. Sun beds, umbrellas - for a fee. The length of the beach 200 m.

We chose this hotel as it was close to the station and within easy walking distance to the old town etc. It is located on a quiet street with several good restaurants close by and also some excellent wine bars around the corner. The hotel has been completely refurbished so was clean and bright. The room was spacious and as there were not many guests we were not disturbed by noise - that might be a problem at busier times. The staff on reception and at breakfast were very helpful. Breakfast choice was very good but could be improved with a bit less 'sweet' choices and some rustic bread rather than industrial sliced bread. The provision of a kettle in the room was good as was being given water bottles and having water fountains in the corridors. There are many good aspects to this hotel if it is a bit bland looking. On balance it was a very good place to stay.

Great base. Clean, friendly, convenient. Correctly priced. Staff kindly accommodated my request for a street facing room with balcony which I preferred to interior facing with no balcony. Water machines all over hotel for still or sparkling water so you are never dehydrated. Breakfast good quality and decent variety and selection including amazing olive oil. Short walk from the train station and enjoyed it as a base to explore Bari, Trani, Monopoli, Lecce. So much to see in Puglia and will be back.

We visited Bari to attend a conference and initially chose this hotel because of its proximity to the venue. As time went on, we realized we could actually walk everywhere—its location is excellent. The reception team was friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. They responded to all our needs with kindness. The rooms were clean and the amenities sufficient. I should especially mention how comfortable the bed and pillows were! The breakfast selection was adequate for a pleasant start to the day, though it could be improved. We travelled as a group of friends and had the chance to see three different room types. The balcony rooms facing the street are particularly lovely. However, I believe they use vinegar in the room cleaning; the smell spreads everywhere and can be a bit unpleasant. Overall, it was a satisfying stay and we genuinely enjoyed our time there.

Located in the very city center. Everything is in waking distance. Room had a balcony, a nice and large tv, a huge bathroom with everything one needs and a coffee maker. Staff was EXTRAORDINARY friendly and helpful, as I had a few special requests. Definitely a hotel I will come back to when in beautiful Bari

New, clean hotel with GREAT STAFF! they were great from the begining, we had great experience. Breakfast was simple yet delicious with some local italian touch. Rooms clean, showers great. All in all i highly reccomend. Thank you!

Great location, near train station and central are of the city. Near grocery shops and restaurants also very close to the old city and main shopping street of the town. Comfortable bed, clean bed sheets and bathroom towels changed daily. The room needs a pretty good vacuuming since was quite dusty under the bed and in the dressing. Friendly staff but poor WiFi, also quite expensive rate compared with what it offers, as the whole city appeared compared with other Italian and European cities I have visited.

Good location, staff helpful and friendly. There is no food court or bar on the premises but there are plenty of eateries nearby. Room was clean and cosy, Wi-Fi is rather slow and drops intermittently. Breakfast covered a nice selection of Mediterranean food and was a good start to the day. Rooms are quiet considering the amount of traffic outside. It is very conveniently located in relation to the train station, it's less than 10 minutes walk and the big hotel sign is easily visible at the cross section.

Great value hotel central to Bari with clean spacious room with balcony, very helpful staff and an excellent complementry breakfast. Hotel looks a bit tired but for the cost of the room it was not a problem

The hotel is fairly basic, but the staff are helpful and friendly and those I dealt with spoke good English. It's very convenient for the railway station and the university. There's a car park just across the road but it's not open 24 hours. Parking in Bari is very difficult, so if you can do without it, driving is best avoided.

I stayed at Victor last September 16' and i immediately booked this particular hotel just now for this upcoming August. Great location in the middle of Bari. Just a short walk to Bari Centrale (train). FYI...Great Sandwich shop down the street for practically anything. "The Sandwich Stop" ( Via Antonio Beatillo,6) This hotel is updated... front door staff is available 24hrs around the clock....free breakfast....modern style rooms. You can't beat this place for the price!

At arrival the hotel looks abandoned and not maintained. On the inside you can see loose cables hanging and pieces out of the brick. The room itself was small but alright, the showercabine had mold in it and there were spots in the blanket. It did have an alright balcony, I didn't dare to stand on it for too long. I will not go there again.
