Nice room but a bit dated and clean enough but now without flaws.

Nice hotel conveniently situated near main attractions & the old town, staff very helpful. The restaurant in the hotel is quite nice , my husband had steak & I had the steak strips both were beautiful & on saying we didn’t want any dessert the waitress brought out some sort of rich chocolate cake which was very tasty , she bought us about 10 pieces over I ate 3 & had to stop myself from having more. Foggia itself is not worth a visit ( in my opinion) early afternoon was like a ghost town but we get to see the beautiful church all by ourselves, we ventured out again early evening & although there seemed to be lots of people milling around there wasn’t anywhere to get a meal or anyone that did draught beer we even saw one “restaurant “ that would only allow locals!! 🤣

A 4-star hotel with the charm of a historic role in Foggia. PROS: Convenient city location between the train station and the Villa Comunale park. Large room, comfortable bed, dual heating systems, efficient bathroom, good cleanliness. Hotel staff parks and returns your car in the garage (€20 well spent), good coffee at breakfast. CONS: Dated hotel atmosphere, excessive and annoying plumbing noises in the bathroom (from the pipes), breakfast in a tiny room, modest selection of desserts, minimal selection of savory options, poor table hygiene (the sad yellow paper placemat on the table was stained: on the second day, I recognized the stains I'd already found on the first day...), staff who talk loudly about their own business, and the receptionist sometimes looks shabby.

The hotel is quite old, everything smells musty, the cleaning was poor, we found a shampoo cap in the shower! The air conditioning in our room wasn't working and they changed our room! According to the staff, there are no people to fix it on Saturdays, meaning if there are maintenance workers, they don't work! The bed has a concave mattress, from excessive use! The staff are friendly and attentive! The surrounding streets don't seem safe!

We just needed to stop overnight while driving south and stay at hotel Cicolella . Rooms are small by American standards but adequate. Very clean, all staff kind and helpful . Pretty standard Italian breakfast.

The rooms were large and grand in appearance. The hotel has an American QUALITY Bath room.
The only reason this is not a five star is because as an American our choice in air conditioning is to be below 75 degrees Fahrenheit and 80- 82 degrees seems to be the normal interior temp for this area. The huge balcony doors and side window capture the breezes but the street noise was a bit loud and I had to close them.
The location is a block away from the train terminal and convenient to stores and restaurants. The staff issued high quality service and knowledge of the area.

Restaurant food is amazing and priced as such, rooms are expensive, dated and showers terrible.

Nothing much to say. Hotel frozen in the ‘70s. Looks scary and also the location is not ideal. Great for business meeting because close to the train station. It desperately needs a renovation.
