Borgo Santandrea in Amalfi

We just returned to Chicago after spending 10 unforgettable nights at Borgo Santandrea…this was our second time staying at this incredible hotel. The first time was just Sue and I and this time we went with another couple. One of the most enjoyable aspects of our second trip was seeing the reaction of our friends to the “Borgo experience”…and the warmth that the staff extended to all of us. I truly cannot imagine a hotel having better service than Borgo…when they say they want to make you feel part of the family, they really mean it. It starts with the impeccable leadership of Maurizio and Gaetano and extends throughout every part of the hotel…the breakfast crew, the beach club crew, the culinary and restaurant crew, the cleaning crew, the bar crew…every single individual we interacted with demonstrated fantastic and authentic hospitality. When someone asks what is the “special sauce” of this hotel it is undeniably the entire group of fun, knowledgeable and warm staff. One of our favorite memories is hanging out in the bar after a relaxing and fun day in Amalfi…we had our special spot and drinks. Oh, and by the way, the hotel is absolutely gorgeous…stunning in every part. Our plan is to return to Borgo Santandrea and we are already counting down the days. Warmest, Rich and Sue

Service is over the top fantastic. The staff do an incredible job or personalizinf om your stay so that it is superb. Hotel is beautifully kept and an experience!

Everything was perfection. The service is truly extraordinary, the property is magnificent, and the food is beyond delicious. The dinners at Marinella were magical. The entire team including General Manager, Maurizio Orlacchio, Tano, Nicola, Giulia, Alessandro, Giuseppe, and Andrea all took such good care of us. Our stay was exceptional and we look forward to returning to this incredible hotel and the Amalfi coast.

The most magnificent hotel with an even more magnificent view. The staff were family by the trips end. They catered to every detail. Every need was handled in moments notice! We have been fortunate to have eaten at many Michelin-starred and other fine dining establishments around the world. Dinner at Alici @borgosantandreaamalfi by Chef Crescenzo Scotti counts among the very best. Impeccable service, led by the perfect gentleman Francesco and his lovely team. And the food…exquisite seems too mundane a word to describe it. Alici truly deserves its Michelin star, and more. The Mediterranean Cappuchino is soft on the palate, the shrimp lemon pasta is perfection. The team kept bringing out extra courses compliments of the chef. Crystal bread with lemon jam being a wonder. Each bite of each course on the beautiful hand-made and hand-painted custom crockery played with our senses and delighted. Chef Crescenzo Scotti and his team have created a seamless experience of outstanding hospitality, warmth and deliciousness. We cannot thank them enough for giving us a dream come true Amalfi experience. Pics do not do justice to the beauty of the evening and the food. Make this a must visit destination on your list.

This was by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at. From the moment I arrived, the service was outstanding, every staff member went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. Glad to have tried this amazing hotel for our 30th anniversary. The General Manager does an excellent job running the hotel to perfection with the utmost attention to detail. Bravo to the team. A complimentary boat takes you out during the day, the beach is gorgeous, Alici the one star Michelin restaurant is incredible and the wonderful cocktails ( try the Penicillin ) at the terrace bar on the top floor. The spa was full , we regret not having booked earlier. Shall I be returning to Il San Pietro or Borgo Santandrea? No doubt the latter!
