Hotel le Agavi in Positano

The views from this hotel are absolutely incredible, and the heated pool is a great bonus! It’s located a bit outside Positano’s city center, but they do offer an hourly shuttle bus. Just a heads-up — the shuttle can fill up quickly, and if you miss it, you’ll need to wait for the next one.

There’s also a private beach and a boat taxi to the Positano port, but both close in October, so keep that in mind when booking your stay. The gym doesn’t open until 9 a.m., which might be a little late if you like to work out early.

Overall, a decent stay with stunning views and good amenities — just plan ahead for transportation and seasonal closures.

Incredible views from room and terrace. Staff were wonderful, friendly, always wanting to help with whatever you need. Breakfasts were wonderful, incredible selection, view and live music each day. Pool is lovely and has pool bar staffed, beach access very comfortable, includes menu of food and drinks. Water taxi available for pickup from Positano pier is so helpful. We enjoyed the spa on the property as well as the two restaurants available.

It’s a beautiful property with a very high class feel. It is very picturesque and the staff is top notch and friendly. Highly recommend and would return in the future.

We had an amazing stay at Le Agavi Hotel. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The views were incredible over Positano. All of the staff were fantastic—friendly, helpful, and genuinely attentive, with the beach club team making every moment special. We dined in all of the restaurants—the beach club, the pool, and the main restaurant—and every meal was excellent. A truly memorable stay, and we can’t wait to return!

Booking was very easy, and the check-in process was smooth. The staff were immediately helpful upon arrival, especially with our luggage, which made us feel welcome from the start.

The setting of the hotel is absolutely incredible. It was easily the best views we have ever had from a hotel. The balcony of our junior suite overlooked the sea and city in a way that felt like a dream. Rooms were spotless, perfectly sized, and very comfortable, creating the perfect retreat after long days exploring.

The dining experiences were outstanding. Breakfast was impeccable with plenty of variety and delicious options. We also had the chance to dine at Remmese, the hotel’s restaurant, which was of extremely high quality and a highlight of our trip.

Facilities exceeded expectations. The private beach access was wonderful, complete with floaties and noodles that made relaxing in the water easy and fun. The gym stood out as the best in Positano, open air with breathtaking views while training or doing cardio. Transportation was seamless with punctual shuttles and a water taxi that made it easy to reach the city center.

Staff professionalism and kindness were second to none. Nearly everyone spoke excellent English, and Sonia in particular went above and beyond to recommend restaurants and give tips on navigating the area!

That is a place that you have to visit! Something amazing that you never seen before! Wonderful views!

The hotel had a great views. It was quit away from all the busy streets. Great pool and beach area. The staff was very helpful. Great breakfast. If you like to relax this is the place for you.

Pool, restaurants, spa, gym this is your spot. If you want luxury service with the best view of the coast, Le Agavi. Free shuttle into town to go out every night or you can take the boat taxi. We absolutely loved it and we will be back next year.
