Hotel Arena in Cattolica

Rooms are not really good. The hotel is just for sleep. The food here is always the same: you eat everyday pasta and fries

Worst hotel I stayed in. Under the bed was so much dust it started to get alive. Breakfast looked like prison food. Dogs barking all night in the next room. So small not even space to open our suitcase. And still they dare to charge a lot for a night. It should have been at least 3 times cheaper to value its worth.

Today I feel generous to give 1 star (otherwise he wouldn't have made me write the review).
Bad "hostel".
Bar closed as well as the restaurant (and I also say Per Fortuna).
Do it yourself housekeeping, friendly reception staff but unfortunately despite our multiple complaints they were unable to report our impressions to the cleaning staff.
Fortunately, upon arrival the room was clean and fortunately we are staying only a few days so we manage the cleaning of the room.
Pool with freezing water, I would say impossible to use, with broken tiles and no maintenance.
Old structure as well as the rooms.
The hair dryer is NOT in the bathroom but outside and NOT working.
From 2:25 pm to 2:40 pm the fire alarm went off about 20 times without anyone giving us any justifications.
Cost exaggerated to what it proposes.
Photos on Google or other providers are very deceptive.
He was the only one available in Cattolica (after having contacted about 15 structures) that had free rooms and the reason is explained. As soon as we arrived we immediately realized that something was wrong and luckily we negotiated the price but the same is not worth 1/10 of what we paid.
We will not be back on my own and I would advise against it to anyone!

Cleaning equal to ZERO! We book a room with my partner and the room is in a pitiful condition, dirty and crumpled sheets, dirty bottles and hair on the ground, we inform them at the reception about what happened and apologizing they immediately call the cleaning lady saying that they would have immediately taken action. In the meantime we go for a ride and return after 4h, they tell us that the room had been cleaned and sanitized, so we go to open the door and ... SAME SITUTION AS BEFORE! Same sheets, same dirt on the floor and same bottles on the floor! After arguing we got our money back and ran away with no place to sleep! In times of covid it is SCANDAL.

I stayed in this hotel a few years ago, I had a great time. I've been there recently and it wasn't the same.
Dirty room, in the bathroom even some intimate garments not belonging to me, accompanied by open bubble baths ... in my opinion the bathroom was absolutely not hygienic otherwise I do not see the reason why not to remove them for my arrival.
One morning the fire alarm went off and without saying anything it went off by itself ... (at least apologize or send some attendant from floor to floor to reassure customers).
Unfortunately I was not happy and I do not think I will return.
