San Marco in Cattolica

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel San Marco in Cattolica. We booked a deluxe triple room, which was spacious, modern in style, and recently refurbished. Breakfast was incredibly generous, with a wide selection of both sweet and savoury options, all freshly prepared in-house. Dinner was equally impressive, served buffet-style with an extensive choice of starters, mains, and desserts, plus a poke station as well. The rooftop pool was absolutely fantastic—easily one of the highlights of our stay.

I spent a week in this hotel together with my family. I was surprised about how friendly is the staff and the way how a tourist is welcome. The food was extraordinary, much, much better than expected. I was happy because I choose the dinner, too and not only the breakfast. The location is in the center of Cattolica, with a beautiful beach in front of the hotel. For sure it was one of my best vacation ever.

The San Marco is a delightful hotel, really well run, with that personal, attention to detail kind of feel. The communal areas are beautifully styled, with a fresh,airy scandi design, and a calming, zen-like ambience. The place smells utterly divine too. Reception staff are efficient and polished, with a genuine care for guest satisfaction. The hotel is ocean facing and I was disappointed that our deluxe room didn’t enjoy this view (the website states most do). Our allocated room was a bit poky, with an undesirable street view, but we were kindly switched upon request, to a much nicer, lighter room, with a partial sea view. These rooms are renovated and have a contemporary, minimalist design. Deluxe category rooms and above have a kettle and mini-fridge. The dinner menu was quite limited (late season) and food was ok. Wonderful service and presentation. The breakfast buffet was good, lots of fresh breads and pastries, alongside fruits, meats, cheeses etc, and all very tidily kept. We were able to walk to myriad restaurants within minutes as the hotel is also close to the town centre. Underground parking is charged at €15pn, but we were able to find free street parking on occasion. To sum up - an excellent stay, superb staff - would return.

We honestly had the best week at SAN MARCO, from the moment you walk through the door, you are greeted by fantastic staff and you enter such a lovely environment. It's so clean and has such a relaxing atmosphere. We went for the B&B option and the breakfast was so good, there are so many options to have and it was always a great start to the day. We did not have dinner at the hotel because we were meeting family elsewhere each night but we had a sneak peak and it looked incredible so next time will definitely be looking at the half board option. Thank you again for everything. A special shout out to Megghi on reception. She always seemed to be at the desk whenever we needed something, and she always made sure we were looked after so thank you so much.

We spent three nights at this hotel. The first night we experienced some difficulty, more so a miscommunication amongst staff members (my children have a nut allergy and did eat a dessert with nuts). Despite this event, staff were outstanding. A huge shout out to Gianni (the manager of the serving staff) and other staff : Qerim, Filippo, Arianna, Cristina Marta -front desk??). I really hope I remembered these names. The service, accommodations and location were amazing. I would highly recommend this place!

Friendliness and professionalism are the hallmarks of each and every person working at San Marco. You will feel truly pampered throughout your holiday. Great job!!!

Beach hotel owned by the Battistelli family for several generations. To highlight the excellent cuisine and impeccable cleanliness that have always been the hallmark of the hotel, one must add the politeness and helpfulness of the owners and staff. Equipped with a swimming pool with a rooftop bar. The move to a 4 star hotel is well deserved.

It's always nice to be back. Quality and friendliness! You really feel the hospitality of the family. Directly on the sea with a private beach equipped with everything. The upper rooms and the top floor pool are the essence of tranquility with excellent aperitifs and drinks served every day. Unique food. Both for breakfast and dinner, with the option of a quick lunch that can also be taken to the beach to enjoy by the sea.
