Hotel Romagna in Cattolica

Hello!, At this moment we are in Cattolica for a 11 days holiday and spending our nights at Hotel Romagna. i apologise in advance for the loooooong review but i think they deserve to have one in detail..... I have been in some hotels in my life, but this one is honestly the best i have encountered yet. Simple as that. When we arrived at the airport, the owners daughter came to pick us up. She was very sweet and friendly, and all tho we did not speak the same language, we were able to have a good conversation on the way to the hotel. When i arrived there, we was helped into the elevator with our suitcases, the owner at the front desk greeted is very friendly, (the man always has a smile on his face i think) and the rest of the staff was also very kind and friendly. The rooms are small, but very cosey. The bathroom looks very good, luxury even and the shower was so big we fitted in with two persons. (and no we are not skinny beans) the beds were good. We mixed our rooms by accident with mom inlaw, but we didnt care, it was very cosey and nice. Every day, our room was cleaned completely. Beds were clean, room was clean, shower and also balcony was clean. Wow,... what can i say. Even for a very small hotel like this, they managed very well to do all this. A very nice romantic looking Spa downstairs, a room for kids to play, toilets downstairs and even the elevator went down to -1. There is also a very nice swimming pool. small but again, cosey. the water looks greenish and it smells like the ocean. I was suprised because i have the feeling that was exactly the atmospehere they wanted to give us. When i had a little accident with my foot, the owner hopped in his van to get me a wheelchair. They helped me with everything and made sure i did not lose my fun in the holiday. Where else do you get service like that? i have NEVER experienced that before. Like i stated before, i have been in many hotels. This was my first time in Italy. did not expect much to be honest, but we got the opposite. Very friendly staff, the owner is an amazing man ( i saw how he ran into the spa to make everything comfy and romantic for me and my girlfriend, lighting the candles, putting the music con..... wow... thank you boss man!! ♥ Now something else..... (im sorry but i HAVE to say this) I see some people gave this hotel 1 star. And of course i wont argue with your opionions but,... Complaints about the size of the room? Ehmmmm What do you do all day when you are on a holiday? you stay in your room? Boring..... really. but you say it IS bad. I have to correct you there because i disagree. You think its bad and that is your opinion. And i respect your opininion. But you dont say its your opinion you say its bad. And its not. honestly. Next time please say; "i think or in my opinion it is not good. Please dont make hardworking people look bad if you dont like a scratch on the bedside cabinet. Sheez..... Complains about the food, same thing. Yes i was not charmed from the breakfast food either, But that is MY personal taste. I am used to other kinds of food in the Netherlands. I LOVED the small "cornettos" with salami cheese and also ham. and loved the orange juice and the cappuchino with cacao was very very good as well. The bread was good! i just dont like crossants wth sugar..... is it bad because of that? Nah But i did enjoy my time eating there. And the staff in the restaurant was very understanding and helpfull. So next time you start complaining about small things that are really NOT important or a taste that is not yours, please dont say that it IS bad, just that you personally didnt like it.

What a wonderful holiday we had at this lovely family hotel in Cattolica. We stayed for 8 nights in 3 separate rooms of the hotel. The rooms were very clean, well equipped and provided every comfort we required for a relaxing, comfortable stay. The wifi in the hotel was superb which was a great benefit to us for work contact at home and to keep in touch with other family members whilst abroad. The family who run the hotel are absolutely wonderful, caring people and were an absolute joy to spend time with. The hotel is centrally located near to all the restaurants and bars but is also in a very quiet location to help with a restful nights sleep. Meals at the hotel were excellent and very good value. Breakfast choice was very good and the food was replenished at regular intervals if anything started to run low. All things considered this was a great holiday at a fantastic hotel. Well done all at the Romagna and this hotel will be at the top of our list for a future visit to Italy.

We stayed here for combined holiday and Moto GP visit, hotel was lovely, staff were fantastic, and very helpful, lovely and clean, rooms serviced every day, breakfast was fine, I would definitely recommend this hotel, and if we return we will stay there again, thank you to the family and staff.

Alice and her family really go out of their way to make your stay wonderful. Has had a great refurbishment including a small indoor pool. A big thank you for always making us feel at home 😀

We have been coming to the Romagna hotel for years .... to fully ascertain the exceptional service one year we decided to change .... but the great professionalism in the art of knowing how to welcome ... serving and giving comfort is the exclusive primacy of Hotel Romagna and the Benedictine family that are unrivaled. Excellent hotel completely renovated with swimming pool, large parking, excellent cuisine, and every type of service and need is resolved .. very professional owners recommended
