Hotel Ambra in Rimini

We booked a stay from 19.08 to 27.08, but our experience was far from the expectations set by the photos. We were given a tiny room with barely enough space to walk around the double bed, and a bathroom with a broken shower door. When we asked to change rooms, communication was impossible due to the staff's limited English language skills. Basic knowledge of a language does not mean they can assist guests properly! Besides this, the staff were unhelpful, passing us from one person to another without resolving our issue. We were told to come back multiple times to speak with the manager, but nothing was done. Frustrated, we canceled our booking and luckily found another hotel the next morning, saving our holiday.

The room was way smaller than described (16 squaremeters they advertised). We opened the door and were standing directly in front of the bed. we couldnt even place our luggages. The bathroom wasn‘t even 1 meter wide, almost impossible to turn around. However, the shower‘s door didn‘t close and leaked water, so you even had a mess in this tiny room. The service was horrible. Rimini is a tourist location, but nobody talked english. We talked to 4 different people, but nobody was able to talk to us. Very disappointing

Update to owners reaction: We had a reservation for 8 days, stayed one night, canceled our booking and went after we faced this conditions. Nobody was able to understand us, better check the language abilities of your staff. We checked out on 20 August 2024 from room 104, please check. We have nothing to hide.
