Hotel New Arpa in Rimini

An experience I will NOT repeat...
Despite the hotel's excellent location, during my stay my car was broken into and everything inside stolen, even though it was parked in the hotel parking lot next to the entrance (which cost €10 per day).
When I reported this to the staff, no one did anything about it. Furthermore, despite the sign indicating the presence of surveillance cameras, when I asked to see the footage, I was told there were no cameras.

very bad service we waited 1h on the street becouse they change our rooms and on every 15m they say one momento they dhoes not know how to speak english and annoys everyone who stayd there they ask us for our names 7 times then say one momento when we finally got a room it was VERY poor quality even we payed for best room i will not recomend ANYONE to go to this hotel they ruin our vacation

Never done a negative review, but when it is to be said it is to be said.
The hotel is in a great location, the staff who are there in the morning are very kind, but the doorman who is there in the evening is amazing. We asked several times if there were any problems if we were coming back late in the evening as we had a concert, we were told it was absolutely no problem and we just had to play. In the evening after the concert at 11 pm we were in the hotel, we were fasting from the morning we wanted to go get something to eat and we were told that if we would return more than an hour later, we would sleep on the sofas outside because he had to sleep. So we ran to find something open and ate at the hotel.
In the morning the cleaning ladies started cleaning the rooms with the music at 9 and then of course we woke up. In short, great place, nice staff but not everything.

I state that we do not like to make negative reviews to people who still work and bang to pull the wagon, having said that I will limit myself only to briefly expose the facts.
Hotel classified three stars (I would do 2) recently refreshed I think and all in all not unpleasant. Strategic location and close to everything (beach, shops etc.) Fine. The rooms are decorated in a 70's American motel style, you know those in the desert areas of Route 66 that you see in the movies? Same. Green carpet full of dust, furniture to make wood for the fireplace, curtain with tear, patch in accordance with the law to repair socket, condominium socket on the back of the bed where the wires of the extensions do not reach the bedside tables (bedside tables ...), step not signaled (according to law) about 10 cm high that divides the bathroom from the bedroom (small due to the presence of 1 double and one single bed, it turns like on the highway when they close a lane, first one, then the other ...), the phono outside the bathroom (this is also nice) but the gem that made us fall our arms (this also made us smile, just ...) is a hospital-type bathroom with the toilet incorporated in the shower !!! , but not only that, after having done what you do on the toilet, we Italians are usually used to using the famous bidet, well here to be able to use it you have to slide the doors of the shower box because the legs do not fit. All that said is supported by photos of course ...
Oh I forgot, half board ... breakfast and dinner with a fancy menu of the type they have in the RSAs, I think it's because people don't get unnecessarily burdened. Now with all the good that I want you, I ask: since you have partially renovated the building I hope that in a relatively short time you will also change the furniture and eliminate the small negative details but above all those obscene bathrooms with built-in toilet and sliding bidet that they do you no honor. Then I will gladly put back the third star and maybe we will also return, however the price paid is 3 stars. Thank you.
