This is never a 4 stars hotel, at highest 2 stars. Lots of things broken and unreplaced in the room, terrible breakfast, stuff that is too busy to care... there will be no next time...

For a European hotel, the room was gigantic! This hotel feels like a spa for locals more than for tourists. We have only seen locals in the restaurant, which is always a great sign that you are eating in the right place. The Urbino center is about a 40 minute walk, or a 10 minute cab ride, but the valley view is worth the distance. Extremely friendly and helpful staff! The spa is amazing, and the attached restaurant is fantastic too!

Thieves. They stole €155 euros from me. I am very sorry to be writing this review but I have to be honest and say what experience I had with this hotel. In the beginning of September I paid 155€ for a spa day + 2 hour spa treatment. I intended it as a gift for myself during my holiday. Today I was supposed to have the treatment however even though the appointment was at 11am and I left my bnb at 9:30, due to the BioSalus festival the buses were not serving the city centre and it was very confusing try and get the bus. I tried catching one but they just passed right in front of me without stopping. Turned out I was on the wrong temporary bus stop. In the meantime I tried calling a taxi but nobody replied. I explained the situation to Hotel Mamiani and asked for a refund. They just told me that I can use the amount I paid till next year or else gift it to a friend. I explained that I do not live in Italy so to use the voucher I have to pay a flight, accomodation and other expenses. Can you just understand that accidents happen?

Convenient, clean and pleasant
Pleasant front desk folks. Close and easy drive to parking to access the historic areas.
We thought 30 Euros per person to use the pool was excessive so we did not use those facilities.

Wonderful mini-vacation. Thank you Sonia and entire staff. Dinner was yummy. The terrace was delightful.

If you ever been in a run down hotel , although it doesn’t seems like it, sure feels like it. Old fashion keys, horrible hard mattresses ( better sleep on the ground) over pricey, smells of cigarettes. Room TV. Was size of my monitor computer at home. The at most worst was that the ac controlled by the hotel not allowing you to adjust, and it is shot down in the middle of the night were the room was like a 90 degrees . In two words “” RUN AWAY” Another thing DO NOT BOOK IT WITH BOOKING . When I wanted to leave after a night less sleep. The hotel insisted of me paying for the two nights although I stayed one night . They said it is BOOKING policy …. About contacting booking …. Don’t even try to.

The room we had was basic and comfortable. To be considered a 4 star hotel the bathrooms are in need of updating. The staff were hard working, friendly and helpful. The spa was very nice. Breakfast had lots of options and the restaurant had some of the best bread I’ve eaten in Italy. I would recommend this hotel. It is not however, walking distance to city center unless you want to walk for over 30min.
