Beach has chairs for a charge. Hotel is very old. Staff was good. The mattresses need updated. I believe they are from the 70’s. Could feel the springs.

All the staffs are superstars. They are really friendly and helpful. No matter anytime, they always give us a hand.

This is a pleasant hotel with a big pool and dining area. Placed in a remote area and is 45mins by car from the airport. The staff are very helpful. The breakfast is basic eg: contential items cheese, cakes, yoghurt plus fried/boiled eggs, bacon and tomatoes. Drinks were provided in our fridge at cost so just be aware of that. I recently spent six nights in this beautiful hotel and I can totally recommend it to those who want to stay in elegant surroundings that are only a short walk from the beach. October getaway Very cozy hotel, and convenient location, location. Decent continental breakfast. The owner is usually around and eager to help beds were comfortable. Would stay there again.

I would recommend. It is exactly what says in the pictures. Room size ok, staff super friendly and helpful, breakfast simple but fresh. Amazing coffee. Location not that great, need a car. All shops around closes at 3 and reopen at 7pm. Safe to walk around.

This is absolutely fab hotel & Spa, I stayed here for 5 nights the hospitality of the staff are amazing if I needed anything they where so happy to help they exceeded my expectations. It has a very good restaurant within the hotel. You could also get bacon and scrambled eggs for breakfast upon request.

We enjoyed our stay at SHS! Great location with private parking. Rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable. It's a very quirky hotel, overlooked by the brooding volcano behind. The atmosphere owes a lot to the history of the site, upcycling and exhibiting machinery and objects used there. if you have your own transport it’s a great centralized location to some of the main sights of this area such as Taormina and Mount Etna. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the rooms looking towards the sea have a great view. The breakfasts are varied and generous. I fully recommend staying at this hotel if you want to stay in this beautiful part of Sicily.

Nice swimming pool and specificities of an urban hotel but in a small village in the way to Taormina. Friendly reception team eager to help. A good alternative to B&B with some pluses like the pool and the breakfast for a better price than many others.

It feels like a nice hotel that wasn't updated much lately. Everything else feels fine, but the elevator does a very creepy sound, the shower in my room feels like one star hotel, crappy plastic door, broken sprinkle, 1990 year furniture

I honestly give 5 dots but it deserves 10. Fabulous structure immersed in a spectacular citrus grove. All taken care of in the smallest details. this resort/estate is really big, little bit outside from the town, near the ocean. in the middle of a really big lemon plantation. its calm, relaxed and very quiet. the owner (and i think his mom and dad) were extremely friendly and cute. the rooms are clean and you also have a kitchen and a sofa to chill. also the rooms re very big. from some of them you can see the etna in front, very cool....

This is an oasis behind an automated gate that defies expectations from the street. Gorgeous rooms, beautiful grounds and exceptional restaurant. Don’t expect much from the Giarre neighborhood. The staff were friendly and helpful. We regretted the rain that prevented us from using the beautiful pool. Easy access to Mt Etna.

This is a funny place because it is a bit in the middle of nowhere. Giarre is not a fancy place and the hotel is on the edge of Giarre. A new, modern hotel with beautiful design and comfortable rooms. Minor drawbacks include a small shower stall (even though the bathroom is large) and less-than-comfortable pillows. However, the service is excellent and everyone is willing to help with any questions. On clear days, the rooms overlooking Mount Etna and the pool area offer stunning views. Breakfasts are delicious and hearty.

We had a very pleasant stay. It's quite remote, so a car is essential. The rooms are very clean, but a bit noisy from other guests. Despite staying five nights, we unfortunately couldn't use the restaurant; every evening there was a different reason why we couldn't dine. The breakfast is very tasty. Absolutely ideal place for a family and their trips around Etna. We always looked forward to the pool, which recharged our energy and refreshed us from the endless heat. Walk a few short blocks to the harbor and the plaza. Restaurants, bars, and local merchant shopping all within a few minutes. The room is clean and comfortable. Vincenzo is a terific host, and I will book here when I return!

The room was spacious and tidy. The breakfast was ample and when I explained my husband was a celiac they went out of their way to make sure he had lots of options. Comfortable bed. Clean apartment. For check-in you need to go, to Tabaco shop next to apartment entrance. Room is a little bit loudy- in the night we heard nosies from a street, but it wasn't disturbing us a lot. For breakfast basic products, but it was enough for us, good coffee.

A lovely host that was very accommodating throughout our stay. Our room was comfortable, spacious, included a mini frig and had a balcony. The breakfast room had an adjoining terrace with amazing views of Mt. Etna. Free street parking in front of the B&B. Great location for day trips to Taormina, Mt. Etna, and Castiglione di Sicilia. Would definitely stay here again.

We spent our summer vacation here and were very satisfied. We were not accommodated in the main building, but in the adjacent building, and the advantage is that we had complete privacy there. Very nice hosts (especially cat lady Arthur) and big, clean rooms. The lovingly furnished roof terrace has many great seating and lounging possibilities. The beach is also just 3 minutes walk. We recommend.

Die Unterkunft ist super sauber, ich hätte auch 12 Punkte vergeben, wenn es möglich wäre. Francesca und Corrado sind sehr nett und so konnte die Wäsche gewaschen werden und der Pool wurde extra noch gereinigt! Er ist zwar nicht geheizt, bin aber dennoch hinein an warmen Tagen.
