The property was beautiful and service was very good. Whilst accepting that it was unusually hot summer, the air conditioner was ineffective and did not provide any relief making it impossible to sleep in the night.

The agriturismo San Michele is located in the middle of the vineyards, ideally placed between the sea and Etna. The swimming pool, the exteriors constitute a magnificent setting. Beautiful agriturismo located at the bottom of the renowned wine region at Mount Etna. The staff have been very friendly and welcoming. The food and wine is authentic Sicilian cuisine with lots of local dishes. I would recommend a wine tour of the Tenuta’s wine cellar.

This is an AgriTourismo establishment built around a working vineyard. The accommodation is sited uphill from the main establishment (500m above sea level) and has in front of it a lap pool ranging from ankle-deep to 2m, there is a ramp enabling less able clients to access the pool easily. Absolutely ideal place for a family and their trips around Etna. We always looked forward to the pool, which recharged our energy and refreshed us from the endless heat. This is absolutely fab hotel & Spa, I stayed here for 5 nights the hospitality of the staff are amazing if I needed anything they where so happy to help they exceeded my expectations. A new, modern hotel with beautiful design and comfortable rooms. Minor drawbacks include a small shower stall (even though the bathroom is large) and less-than-comfortable pillows. However, the service is excellent and everyone is willing to help with any questions. On clear days, the rooms overlooking Mount Etna and the pool area offer stunning views. Breakfasts are delicious and hearty.

We had a very pleasant stay. It's quite remote, so a car is essential. The rooms are very clean, but a bit noisy from other guests. Despite staying five nights, we unfortunately couldn't use the restaurant; every evening there was a different reason why we couldn't dine. The breakfast is very tasty. This is a superb hotel beautifully appointed from the gated entrance, up the long drive to the welcome you receive. We had a room overlooking Etna in all it's snowy glory. What a sight to wake up to. And that was after a fabulous meal in their 1 star Michelin restaurant. From the amuse bouche to the teramasu, simply a delight.

Comfortable bed. Clean apartment. For check-in you need to go, to Tabaco shop next to apartment entrance. Room is a little bit loudy- in the night we heard nosies from a street, but it wasn't disturbing us a lot. For breakfast basic products, but it was enough for us, good coffee.

The guesthouse is very comfortable, and the family that runs this B&B is very nice. Nunzio, the son, used Google Translate to communicate with me and helped me get to the train station, find train routes and order transfers. For this I am very thankful. There are Spacious rooms, it would be good for families. A nice pool area, but it was very noisy so don’t take a room near the pool if you want quiet time. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to beach. The food in hotel was limited but tasted ok. Not much of a bar. There are a few places to eat nearby. Beautiful area.

Eat pasta EVERY. SINGLE. NIGHT. It’s very plain food and in the bedroom , right after the cleaner has been in there was ants EVERYWHERE. Every time the cleaners came in, they ate our food from the fridge and would go in our suitcases..

Overall this hotel is quite nice. I came with the school on a trip and we stayed here overnight. The food isn't the best, in fact one of my roommates vomited during the night. The rooms are very large, and the whole thing looks like one. The palm trees, the heat and the swimming pool give liveliness to the place and make it as if we were in Hawaii. With the vista of Mount Etna in the background, Palazzo Giovanni is situated in a quiet street with its own large lemon grove and is a great place to stay. Within walking distance of the boat harbour of Stazzo and a short drive from the beautiful town of Acireale, our host Silvio made our weekend there a memorable one.

This was part of a package holiday, so it is probably not appropriate to comment on the quality of the food. However, the rooms were very clean, although the pillows and matrasses were quite hard. The biggest complaint was the very poor WiFi. In the reception/restaurant it was adequate but in the bedrooms, it was terrible. When complaining to the duty manager, we were given a disingenuous answer.

Lovely property - very quiet when we were there - not sure if it is a function event too. Breakfast was great and the lady so accommodating, lovely to be right on the sea front. Apart from that very quiet and a bit out of town
