The property was beautiful and service was very good. Whilst accepting that it was unusually hot summer, the air conditioner was ineffective and did not provide any relief making it impossible to sleep in the night.

A new, modern hotel with beautiful design and comfortable rooms. Minor drawbacks include a small shower stall (even though the bathroom is large) and less-than-comfortable pillows. However, the service is excellent and everyone is willing to help with any questions. On clear days, the rooms overlooking Mount Etna and the pool area offer stunning views. We had a very pleasant stay. It's quite remote, so a car is essential. The rooms are very clean, but a bit noisy from other guests. Despite staying five nights, we unfortunately couldn't use the restaurant; every evening there was a different reason why we couldn't dine. The breakfast is very tasty. Quiet and relaxing place, the owner is very kind and available for every need, both relating to the stay in the structure and advice on places to visit. A lovely host that was very accommodating throughout our stay. Our room was comfortable, spacious, included a mini frig and had a balcony. This is a superb hotel beautifully appointed from the gated entrance, up the long drive to the welcome you receive. We had a room overlooking Etna in all it's snowy glory. What a sight to wake up to. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful hosts! Big, clean rooms. Nice common area with a terrace available for breakfast. The train station is within walking distance to easily reach both Catania and Taormina.

Comfortable bed. Clean apartment. For check-in you need to go, to Tabaco shop next to apartment entrance. Room is a little bit loudy- in the night we heard nosies from a street, but it wasn't disturbing us a lot. For breakfast basic products, but it was enough for us, good coffee.

Very clean, quiet, and comfortable B&B. The owner (Nunzio) and his father are very nice, helpful, and accommodating. There is parking on the street right in front of the building, and fast wifi. B&B is also within walking distance of supermarkets, restaurants, and other stores if you're on foot. Excellent location and value.

The guesthouse is very comfortable, and the family that runs this B&B is very nice. Nunzio, the son, used Google Translate to communicate with me and helped me get to the train station, find train routes and order transfers. For this I am very thankful. It was nice and homey to sit outside and have breakfast. When staying at this location it is best to have a car.

I give my stars for the very personal attitude from the staff, delicious breakfast, free bikes which were necessary to get to the beach . This is more like guest house. B&B San Leonardo is close to Etna and Taormina by car. Very tiny rooms and the bathroom is only at the ground floor.

this resort/estate is really big, little bit outside from the town, near the ocean. in the middle of a really big lemon plantation. its calm, relaxed and very quiet. the owner (and i think his mom and dad) were extremely friendly and cute. the rooms are clean and you also have a kitchen and a sofa to chill. also the rooms re very big. from some of them you can see the etna in front, very cool....

The property is very beautiful and the views of the sea from the slope of the Etna are spectacular. Very quiet, comfortable accommodations, very nice swimming pool. The location is excellent, a short drive to the sea and also close to Taormina and Catania, which was very convenient. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much. I would love to go back for a longer stay.

We had a fantastic stay here. The gardens and scenery are incredible. Views are some of the best on the island. Great size pool that was extremely clean and plenty of space for relaxing. Staff very friendly. Room was modern and large. Would definitely return.

I used to go 2 X per year, for about 11 years. Always stayed there, got to know the 2 brothers that owned it, NICE PEOPLE. I had my 60th birthday party there, about 110 people (I was born in the next town over, Giarre.,) Am 78 and left there when I was nine. There are Spacious rooms, it would be good for families. A nice pool area, but it was very noisy so don’t take a room near the pool if you want quiet time. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to beach. The food in hotel was limited but tasted ok. Not much of a bar. There are a few places to eat nearby. Beautiful area.

Eat pasta EVERY. SINGLE. NIGHT. It’s very plain food and in the bedroom , right after the cleaner has been in there was ants EVERYWHERE. Every time the cleaners came in, they ate our food from the fridge and would go in our suitcases..

Overall this hotel is quite nice. I came with the school on a trip and we stayed here overnight. The food isn't the best, in fact one of my roommates vomited during the night. The rooms are very large, and the whole thing looks like one. The palm trees, the heat and the swimming pool give liveliness to the place and make it as if we were in Hawaii. They deserve 4 stars, especially for the balconies...

With the vista of Mount Etna in the background, Palazzo Giovanni is situated in a quiet street with its own large lemon grove and is a great place to stay. Excellent structure, located a little outside Acireale. Comfortable rooms with beds equipped with new mattresses. Beauty kit in the bathroom. Beautiful swimming pool and very well-kept garden. The cuisine is excellent with a varied breakfast with sweet and savory things. I'll be back.

This was part of a package holiday, so it is probably not appropriate to comment on the quality of the food. However, the rooms were very clean, although the pillows and matrasses were quite hard. The biggest complaint was the very poor WiFi. In the reception/restaurant it was adequate but in the bedrooms, it was terrible. When complaining to the duty manager, we were given a disingenuous answer.

As unfortunately happens in my beloved southern Italy, the place is fantastic but....it wouldn't take much. Rooms furnished in the 70s, poor bathroom amenities, breakfast and dinner without fresh local products (which would cost even less). Sin

The structure is clean and is in a strategic point to easily reach different cities to visit in the surrounding area! Reception and restaurant staff always polite and friendly and ready to satisfy every request with a smile! The pool is always clean and welcoming for guests to enjoy a bit of relaxation.
