Gasthof Weisses Kreuz in Naturno

If ever there was something like a friendly service, then this is the source of it.
Incredibly friendly welcome, phantastic service, perfect breakfast with many options, good food, wonderful garden to relax and a nice location with wonderful walks - what does one need more? 😋
The prices are fair when compared to the normal Meran level. To be recommended.

From the very first minute, you feel warmly welcomed!

The positive atmosphere in the house, the lovely decorations, and the lit candles made us feel completely at ease! The breakfast, thankfully not a buffet, left nothing to be desired!

The four-course dinner was simply delicious! Mrs. Mayr and her daughter were always attentive to our well-being!

The garden is truly exceptional: a dream! Beautifully landscaped with a pool, a profusion of flowers, and a lawn so immaculately maintained—I've never seen anything like it. It's clearly a passion of the owner!

This was our first, but certainly not our last, stay at this wonderful accommodation. From the very first moment, we felt completely at ease. Mother and daughter are a fantastic and very attentive team. The food is prepared with love every day. The breakfast is simply amazing. No wish goes unfulfilled, even if it's just a recommendation for a special tea to soothe your stomach 😊. The rooms, the common areas, and especially the garden allow you to unwind completely from the moment you arrive. Thank you so much for the wonderful time, Dieter and Annette.

My wife and I stayed at the Weisses Kreuz for 4 nights during the second leg of our 8-day trip to South Tyrolia. Overall this has been a wonderful experience in at friendly and hospitable place (this is family-run by the Mayr family who are super helpful and make you feel welcome) We had a nice room with a beautiful with a beautiful room from the balcony. The house also had a very nice garden and a terrace which were perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine or beer after a hike (there is also a nice outdoor pool - we used it only once though as it was still a bit cold to fully enjoy it). We booked half-board, so dinner was included in addition to breakfast. Breakfast is served at the table - with a broad range of items that are either served by default or upon request. Dinner is a fixed 5 course menu but there seem to be eg vegetarian options. Quality of both breakfast and dinner was excellent during all 4 days, so we had no desire to look anywhere else for food. The Weisses Kreuz also had a nice selection of local wines (at very reasonable prices), so it was fun to try some of these. Location is very convenient as there are a a lot of different hiking paths for various skill levels nearby - as is Naturns with a cable cat station to get you higher up the mountains. In Addition there are a couple of interesting sights at or around Naturns (St. Prokulus Church, Juval Castle). We would definitely stay here again if we visit the area.

Great little hotel lodge, in a little fraction of Naturno, immerse in the valley surrounded by apple trees and vine trees. Very pretty with chalet design, it offers a nice breakfast spread and dinner with the room post. Nice garden, little outdoor pool available, clean and cozy. WiFi, parking, polite staff.

A very nice family business in a pleasant location with a beautiful garden, excellent breakfast and cozy rooms with balconies. The multi-course dinner that can be booked with half-board is highly recommended! Here you can relax in the garden and in the pool during the day as well as explore the Vinschgau and the Meraner Land on excursions. The house is also easily accessible by public transport (bus from Staben or Naturns), but the timetables are not coordinated, so that a walk to the nearest train station in Staben (~30 min.) usually made more sense than the five-minute bus ride 55 minutes to wait for the train. The WLAN is very slow, so you almost have to switch to mobile data or you simply switch off your cell phone and grab a book...

We felt totally comfortable in the Weißes Kreuz! Everyone was very friendly, everything was super clean and prepared with attention to detail. The food was always delicious too. At breakfast you get a selection brought to the table and can always reorder. Everything fresh and delicious! In the evening you can get a 4/5 course menu for €25 per person. This is also recommended. Thank your for the nice vacation! We'd love to come back :)

We had three great days in Naturns. From the delicious breakfast, the hosts, the dinner to the garden, which is perfect for relaxing, everything was perfect.

This place is simply out of this world, the ambience, the attentive service, and the food, not to forget the fresh apple juice, make you believe you are in another parallel universe of fairy tales.
