Fantastic location. Very clean. Isolated in the woods. Exceptional welcome, availability of the owner to pick us up and take us. The only flaw is that since the road is very steep and unpaved, it is not suitable for street bikes and low-trim machines.

Just loved it! Serenity, good air, nature and farm life. Thick stone walls that keep inside temperature low compared to 36degress outside (in July), full kitchen amenities, nicely decorated, nice terrace for wonderful evenings. The scenery is beautiful and the owner is super friendly, speaks very good English and is working really hard to make sure everyone enjoys their stay. The houses are a bit old (but their history makes up for it) but spacious and well equipped. There are some nice restaurants in the area and the supermarket is a 5 minute drive down the hill. The road is, contrary to other reviews, very well accessible by a normal car (4x4 is not required, just keep cool and keep on driving until you hit beautiful Borgo Macereto ;-) .
