Hotel Villa Ambrosina is quiet, off the beaten path with beautiful views. I absolutely loved the room. It had a beautiful terrace overlooking the hills of Tuscany. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was plentiful for only 5 euros. I will caution everyone that it's a very hilly approach from the town, but we walked to a local store for supplies with no problems at all. I loved this stay.

Very nice hotel at the top of a mountain with a great view. Beautiful and quiet area to walk around. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was quite good. Going up the mountain in the taxi was quite scary as the roads are very narrow and steep. The room doesn’t have a minibar, which would have been nice. Definitely would come back and recommend it to those looking for some quiet and relaxing...

Wonderful place Our stay in this hotel was wonderful. The guy at the front desk make our stay feel like home. Help us Dutch everything we need. The only thing about this place it’s transportation hard to find a taxi. Other than that all is excellent!!!! Will recommend for a quiet gateway.

The rooms are big and spacious. With a kitchen. Nice and clean pool. The AC is great and have a unit in each room! Cleaning was okay. Staff was nice and friendly. The room smelled a bit of petrol or something when we arrived but after some ventilation and AC it was gone.

+ great apartment, great place, great surroundings. - stupid rules at the pool - you can’t use one side of the pool, so if you want to be laying in the sun after 4pm you need to be lucky.

Very nice receptionist! Our scooter broke down from Florence and we got a cold water and could stay in the cooled reception, since we had 37*C outside and no shadow... Waiting is much better here, for the scooter rental to pick us up. Thanks a lot again for the help!

Nice, kind staff. Beautiful countryside scenery just 15 minutes outside Florence. Really nice swimming pool and the Appartements were good. We had a great stay :). Grazie

A delightful hotel in Tuscany This is a beautiful unspoiled traditional Tuscan hotel, rooted in the culture of the region. The decor of the bedroom and the lovely sitting room is delightful. The staff are courteous and friendly always willing to help. Below the hotel is an excellent restaurant, good food and of course wine to match.

The entire staff at the hotel was exceptional. From check-in to departure they took excellent care of the guest. Perfect stay in Tuscany From the moment we walked in and was greeted by the proprietor, we were blown away by this amazing property. Great service, hospitality and cleanliness. Breakfast was delicious and exceptional. It exceeded our expectations with meats, fresh mozzarella, eggs, croissants, and fresh fruit and vegetables. We will definitely be back!

The hotel is beautifully restored and immaculately clean. The room and en-suite bathroom were larger than we expected. The area was very quiet at night, so it was very relaxing. The views of the wooded Tuscan hills from the bedroom windows and from the terrace on the roof were fantastic. Had a great visit, close enough to get a bus into Florence. Great room and good service.

Absolutely loved it here. It was exactly what we needed. Quietness, and able to relax. The only criticism I have is, that if you have mobility issues, please bear this in mind as the nearest shop although not far, is a steep hill to get to and from.

Great location, so easy to get to the bus stop 37. In 20-25 min by bus in the centre of Florence. Great staff, special thanks to Lorenzo for taking care of everything!

A very comfortable apartment, situated 30 minutes from Florence. it has parking, Wi-Fi and access to a washing machine.

The apartment is great as is the pool, and marco who looks after it is very nice. There is absolutely nothing in the area, you need to get the 37 bus to Florence if you want to eat or drink anything. The co-op is closed from 8pm and all day Sunday, the only restaurant closed down recently so at 7:30pm on a Saturday we found ourselves with nowhere whatsoever to eat. We had bread that we bought earlier...

We didn’t know what to expect when we booked via Air BNB but we where sold on the room of Appartement 13 and the great price and benefits of the appartement. The property was beautiful, the gardens and the pool were well kept and provided many opportunities for relaxing. The staff and their service were amazing, always eager to help with any questions about the local area. My one wish would be that their were hot drink making facilities for guests, especially in the evening.

It was a great experience to stay at Il Colle, Sabina and Claudia werde so helpful and friendly. The view and breakfast Was perfekt.

Authentic high-end Villa with just a dozen rooms. We went with staff recommendations for most of our restaurant visits in the surrounding villages. In each single case we got excellent value for money. Ordering drinks at the pool via WhatsApp was a new experience for me but it worked surprisingly well.

Make sure you come prepared, there is nothing around and it’s hard to access. Also, do not plan to arrive late at night. The arrival instructions are very unclear and its easy to get lost.
