Unpretentious, comfortable and superb staff are the mainstays of this hotel. We were there for a week with a small group. Breakfasts were excellent with plenty of options, evening dinners were varied, well cooked and served with a smile. Room cleaning to a high and consistent standard.

On my way to Villa Lena a taxi accidentally dropped me off here. Although we didn't speak the same language she was so kind and helpful getting me to the right place. Her location looked absolutely break taking as well.

Antonella is a lovely woman who speaks a little English. We were all able to understand each other with no problem. She was welcoming and gave us a lovely glass of wine from her vineyards when we arrived. Her surroundings are beautiful with seeing olive trees and vineyards and the town of Certaldo. A good place to stay in San Gimignano citadel that also offers breakfast for the money. But the rooms were not perfectly clean, the bed was average and you could hear the people downstairs talking in the morning. Inside there is no elevator, so you need to climb the stairs with the luggage. Breakfast is good.

Very helpful and friendly service during check in. Bad smell coming from bathroom but resolved after leaving windows open for an hour. The parking at 91m is NOT free as stated in the description. It is a paying public carpark. The free parking is 10 mins walking distance from the hotel.

We rented two rooms and were pleasantly surprised when we arrived and we had a common area with a kitchen and dinning area joining the rooms like a little apartment. The city is very hilly and to reach it from the hotel is an uphill walk but it is very close to everything. Rooms were clean and everything worked well. We parked in the P4 lot and you can walk but it is a bit far with luggage.

She did not want to do the check in until 3:00 o’clock, and I approached her at 2:50. ******* has the check in at 2:30 pm. The owner was very sweet by trying to pick us up due to having to park far away. The area gets busy so parking can be a bit of an issue. The room was very cool and had a lot of space and was clean. We spend 3 night out the main season, autumn in this part where Tenuta Moriano located was very beautiful. We were happy almost with everything - but as I told to the staff - the last part of the road leading to you was really in terrible condition, but things would be better I guess. Ottimo posto dove poter staccare la spina per qualche giorno. Il casale è molto bello e arredato con gusto senza usare i soliti mobili da grande magazzino. La piscina molto grande. La signora che gestisce la struttura è molto disponibile e gentile.

Brilliant small friendly hotel on the outskirts of San Gimignano with ample parking. To visit the town need to use the car but there is ample cheap parking close to the town. Excellent breakfast.
