Antonella is a lovely woman who speaks a little English. We were all able to understand each other with no problem. The view from the hotel is stunning that's it... This hotel as all the potential to be a jewel in San Miniato but boy there is some work to do. A good place to stay in San Gimignano citadel that also offers breakfast for the money. But the rooms were not perfectly clean, the bed was average and you could hear the people downstairs talking in the morning. Inside there is no elevator, so you need to climb the stairs with the luggage. Breakfast is good.

Very helpful and friendly service during check in. Bad smell coming from bathroom but resolved after leaving windows open for an hour. The parking at 91m is NOT free as stated in the description. It is a paying public carpark. The free parking is 10 mins walking distance from the hotel.

We rented two rooms and were pleasantly surprised when we arrived and we had a common area with a kitchen and dinning area joining the rooms like a little apartment. The city is very hilly and to reach it from the hotel is an uphill walk but it is very close to everything. Rooms were clean and everything worked well. We parked in the P4 lot and you can walk but it is a bit far with luggage.

She did not want to do the check in until 3:00 o’clock, and I approached her at 2:50. ******* has the check in at 2:30 pm. On my way to Villa Lena a taxi accidentally dropped me off here. Although we didn't speak the same language she was so kind and helpful getting me to the right place. Her location looked absolutely break taking as well.

Clean and surprisingly large room, with a spacious closet and bathroom. My room happened to have a window to the inside courtyard. Front desk staff/owner is exceptionally friendly, helpful, and generous. Property located right at the central plaza - cannot be more convenient!

A charming little city like many others high on a hill. On our itinerary due to its reputation. Not disappointing but maybe a little overrated.

The hotel is in the plaza de la Cisterna, very large room and bathroom, the views to the country side from our room was fantastic. Everything is so close cafes, restaurants, shops. Points of interest. The staff is really nice and polite. Breakfast was good. Totally recommend the hotel.

The hotel is in a fantastic location on the main square and the staff could not have been more helpful. If you are driving, ignore google and take the directions from reception. Lovely hotel!

Truly a gem! Our room was beautiful with a lovely view. It is very close to the main road and restaurants. Definitely opt in for the breakfast it was absolutely delicious.

The owner was very sweet by trying to pick us up due to having to park far away. The area gets busy so parking can be a bit of an issue. The room was very cool and had a lot of space and was clean. It is a bit dated and has more of an old school Italian vibe to it. Very centrally located so walking is very easy. You can walk out your door and be on the main ***** in about a minute walk.

My husband and I spent a week in this heavenly place where peace and tranquility reigns. Immersed in nature and within walking distance of Siena, San Gimignano and other tourist attractions. The apartments are cared for in detail as well as the whole residence, always kept in perfect order by Danilo all the doing of the estate. The fabulous pool. We will definitely be back

Everything about our stay was perfect. The breakfast, location- view from our room we couldn’t ask for more. The staff were awesome they did everything I even questioned if they ever went home - they work very hard and do many different duties. I would stay here again in a minute.

The views from the property were beautiful. There is a restaurant on site but we only had breakfast there and ate out the other evenings. We were there for 3 nights. It is about a 8 minute walk to the town center. The wifi was steong.

The room for two people is very small and you need to be strategic on how to walk around the room while also accessing two middle size pieces of luggage because there is not room to keep the luggage on the floor without tripping. The shower is very small too especially for large people. The bed is comfortable, the breakfast is good, the convenience of being located within a short walking distance...

What a lovely hotel. Nice setting with beautiful views from the back, where you can watch the sunset. Great service from the lovely staff. Nice rooms, stylishly done. Nice wine too, which is also remarkably good value. A lovely place to relax, and a great base for exploring the area.

We stayed here for 2 nights in October in the bar and had an incredible stay. Highlights included the Monday pizza night, the breakfast spread, the huh quality hair dryer and a last of autumn quick dip in the pool. We also really loved their wine, particularly the Baronessa. Would 11/10 go back

A really wonderful unexpected treasure. Driving there you're not quite sure, but then you turn into the driveway and a gem awaits. The country hotel has just opened and in our experience still ironing out problems. We had two rooms in a separate building. Firstly the good, the rooms are really well appointed and fitted out to a high standard. The owners should be commended for what they have done. However one of our rooms was roasting hot and we got no sleep the first two nights and had to sleep on top of the bed the remainder...

Great vineyard tour Very friendly welcome at the hotel. Vineyard tour with wine tasting was great and very interesting. Room a little tired. Pool area lovely for relaxing in the sun. Restaurant beside the hotel serves lovely local dishes. Lovely location a short drive from San Gimignano.

Brilliant small friendly hotel on the outskirts of San Gimignano with ample parking. To visit the town need to use the car but there is ample cheap parking close to the town. Excellent breakfast.
