Clean and comfortable accommodation, well equipped for self-catering. Plenty of local restaurant choices too. Nice, good size swimming pool. Two supermarkets close by. Walking distance of local town (1.5 km) but quite steep hills.

The hotel staff, such as reception, breakfast or cleaning staff, was very helpful friendly and service oriented. They all were nice to us and also our dog felt well. The room was very hot in August but after a room change we were very happy with our pretty Tuscan room. Thank you again for this solution. Nice hotel but not what promised when we booked. We got the old building instead of the new one. Very disappointing breakfast. Restaurant is delicious, fresh products but a little expensive. Friendly staff. Beautiful place to stay. Tuscany is wonderful!

Good location for central Tuscany, with free parking at the local supermarket. Lovely but very expensive restaurant. Good base hotel for Tuscan day trips but not much atmosphere around he hotel itself. Definitely worth joining in for one of the complimentary wine tastings even if just to have a peek at the gorgeous wine cellar - a definite highlight!

Lovely hotel in centrally located village overlooking the surrounding countryside. We were lucky to get the suite (in the new part of the hotel) which is huge! The breakfast buffet has everything you expect with freshly made coffees (we still miss Roberta's cappuccino's in the morning at home!) Fantastic hotel, I felt welcome and the personel is very helpful. I've been in this hotel 3 times in 4 years and the quality of the room, the kindness of the employees and the service is just perfect. It's my preferred place in Italy. For me it's where God have kissed the earth.

La Tabaccaia is a wonderful Tuscan escape. The hotel is an old tobacco drying barn tastefully modernized but still retains its old charm. The staff have been exceptional with their service and professionalism, making our stay a very special experience. A chance to enjoy a holiday in the middle of a holiday.

Very nice. Rooms and service are excellent. Restaurants are very good, in particular the Borgo. However, the surroundings are artificial and nobody really lives there. Only tourists. There were not that many guests, so the facilities were all fort is. But the feeling was a little like we were the test guests until the five star complex is ready.

Accomodation very good and views are spectacular. Food at breakfast buffet was very basic but the Dinner in the evening in the restaurant was top class. Only downfall of the accomodation is lack of plug sockets in kitchen and lack of mirrors.

Nice, but not 4 star as shown in google. Some Appartments have REALLY small living rooms.

The pool and the facilties were super nice. The view is extraordinary. It is a very quit place where you could nicely relax if you have good and sunny weather. However, only 3/5 stars for the following reasons: Without notice there was an extra charge for the baby crib (10€/night). Hot water was turned off 30 minutes before checkout. Appartements were very dark and cold during the night (late September...

Nice but... Sewer smell in the basement bedroom,., It was also damp plus there werecentipede issues. we complained about it but she was unable to resolve the problem.. Also,. some air conditioning problems (plus they charge extra for air conditioning).... Had to ask for toilet paper(why wouldn't they just leave a couple of dozen rolls in the laundry room so the residents could use them? every time...

Exactly what you expect when you book a holliday at an authentic tuscan borgo. Nice and clean, great pools and garden (laaarge). Extra is the restaurant, casa masi, on the same premises. Sun was out and we loved it again.

Great vacation retreat for couples and families. Located in the heart of Tuscany with driving distances to most major attractions of about an hour or less. We returned for our second visit in summer and are loving the AC, the pool and the scenic view. One thing to note is the drive up to the accomodation, which can be a challenge for weak cars as it's very steep and rocky.

Colle Bertini is set on an absolutely beautiful Tuscan hillside beside the ancient Via Francigena path. We visited the hill towns of San Gimignano, Montaione and Cataldo from here and it was lovely to return to the pool and the cool of our spacious accommodation. Michele is an excellent host - every guest receives a bottle of wine - and the accommodation is extremely good value for money. Highly recommend

The enviroment and the house was gorgeous. The staff was very kindly and friendly. Our apartment was really big and clean. The beds were comfortable.

My partner and I spent a week in Colle Bertini and we really enjoyed our stay ! The place is super clean, beautiful and the air con in the living room and the bedroom is a big plus considering the weather ! The pool is wide and clean, the view from the apartment and the garden is absolutely stunning, so romantic. The tenants are super kind and they gave us great advice about our trip. We visited 'il Poggio' during our recent trip to Italy. It's position in the Tuscan hills is breath-taking - pick a bench a enjoy spectacular views. The management and staff were friendly, hardworking and extremely efficient, despite record temperatures. For example, we reported a problem with a toilet cistern, which was fixed within the hour. We also enjoyed a couple of very tasty meals in the well...

We stayed here on our honeymoon, and it was lovely! Absolutely stunning views all round, nice pool outside, and the apartment was just what we were looking for. The town centre is walking distance and we walked in every evening for dinner, and enjoyed a nice walk home watching the fireflies. I stayed here for a weekend and had the pleasure of having the pool mostly to myself. The weather was so so, and the pool had many poor bees obviously because it’s nature, but other than that it was clean. The only issue I have is the room that seemed a bit outdated and could do with some upgrades, especially the extra beds. All in all, the experience was very nice!
