On my way to Villa Lena a taxi accidentally dropped me off here. Although we didn't speak the same language she was so kind and helpful getting me to the right place. Her location looked absolutely break taking as well.

She was welcoming and gave us a lovely glass of wine from her vineyards when we arrived. Her surroundings are beautiful with seeing olive trees and vineyards and the town of Certaldo. A good place to stay in San Gimignano citadel that also offers breakfast for the money. But the rooms were not perfectly clean, the bed was average and you could hear the people downstairs talking in the morning. Inside there is no elevator, so you need to climb the stairs with the luggage. Breakfast is good.

Very helpful and friendly service during check in. Bad smell coming from bathroom but resolved after leaving windows open for an hour. The parking at 91m is NOT free as stated in the description. It is a paying public carpark. The free parking is 10 mins walking distance from the hotel.

We rented two rooms and were pleasantly surprised when we arrived and we had a common area with a kitchen and dinning area joining the rooms like a little apartment. The city is very hilly and to reach it from the hotel is an uphill walk but it is very close to everything. Rooms were clean and everything worked well. We parked in the P4 lot and you can walk but it is a bit far with luggage.

She did not want to do the check in until 3:00 o’clock, and I approached her at 2:50. ******* has the check in at 2:30 pm. The owner was very sweet by trying to pick us up due to having to park far away. The area gets busy so parking can be a bit of an issue. The room was very cool and had a lot of space and was clean. It is a bit dated and has more of an old school Italian vibe to it. Very centrally located so walking is very easy. You can walk out your door and be on the main ***** in about a minute walk.

Ottimo posto dove poter staccare la spina per qualche giorno. Il casale è molto bello e arredato con gusto senza usare i soliti mobili da grande magazzino. La piscina molto grande. La signora che gestisce la struttura è molto disponibile e gentile.

Great vineyard tour Very friendly welcome at the hotel. Vineyard tour with wine tasting was great and very interesting. Room a little tired. Pool area lovely for relaxing in the sun. Restaurant beside the hotel serves lovely local dishes. Lovely location a short drive from San Gimignano.

Brilliant small friendly hotel on the outskirts of San Gimignano with ample parking. To visit the town need to use the car but there is ample cheap parking close to the town. Excellent breakfast.

Breakfast was Italian Breakfast- croissants, breads, cookies, hard boiled eggs. Room was clean, a little dark, but nice shower. Hair dryer was awful! Couldn’t get air conditioning to work, but opened windows for beautiful cool air at night.

Very comfortable apartment in a quite Tuscany area. The room and the bathroom is big enough for three people and nicely furnished. You can take your breakfast outside in the shadow. They serve gluten-free bread, cookies and lactose-free milk also and kind staff helps you all the time. This was a gem of a Hotel in the rolling hills of Tuscany. Great base to be able to explore the area. Will several fabulous restaurants, wineries, olive mills and medieval towns and church’s to explore. Service was great staff was super friendly and accommodating. What a fantastic estate, combining a Michelin-starred restaurant and accommodation! We arrived around 12 PM, and the front desk staff immediately and warmly checked us in. We stayed here for our honeymoon, it was an absolute dream. The family owned restaurant we found was our favourite of all San Gimignano so we ate there most nights - do book as all the locals come here! The staff were so lovely and helped us book a taxi to return to the airport. Wonderful small inn renovation from a stone building with deluxe amenities and facilities including a small pool. Easy parking and a 30 minute walk or 5 minute drive to San Gimignano. The property offers wine tasting and sale of their own products and is affiliated with a superb restaurant steps away. Delicious dinner and extensive breakfast buffet.
