The hotel was OK, about 10 minutes walk from the town, on a road without lights or pavement. Our room was noisy being at the front of the hotel. It was hot as the air conditioning was not in use and with the window open the traffic noise and people noise was too loud to sleep. The hotel had a number of groups on tours - mostly English. Staff is very friendly, and professional. The spa area is open until MN. The rooms are comfortable, and have balconies.

Not worth the $$ staff is just ok, rooms and furniture are tired. On a sunny day I’m sure pool is nice and the massage was excellent

This hotel is such a hidden gem and we're so thankful we found it! We found this at the last minute as we had to switch rooms from another hotel and we could not believe our luck. Not only is this hotel a hidden oasis in the charming sitting of San Quirico d'Orcia, the staff is also incredibly helpful and kind. Marco even helped us upgrade our room. We love this hotel and would absolutely stay here...

The hotel is excellent and our room was very comfortable , clean and traditional. The service of hotel staff was faultless and very impressive from check in to check out. The food options in the village are limited and we found it a bit more expensive than other places. The breakfast was okay and they provide many options. Thank you for having us

Revisiting was a great idea Tuscany in April and September is two different things but Hotel Palazzo del Capitano was the same. Revisiting this beautiful and cozy hotel was just as nice the second time. The room, the garden, the service, the food - all excellent

Really nice hotel, with clean, spacious rooms and equipped with a minibar. Very kind staff both at the reception and in the dining room. Excellent breakfast, with a variety of sweet and savory choices (the pancakes are delicious). Very good hotel with a great location and wonderful view over the Tuscany landscape. Clean room, professional staff, lovely pool and breafast served at the terrace with a beautiful view over the landscape. Unfortunately the restaurant can't be recommended. Dinner was served indoors without any view over the landscape. The most popular wines on the wine list were not available. The cheesecake served...

Clean and hygienic, with a nice environment.

The hotel lobby and corridors are pictured, and the decor is very cozy. The family suite was spacious, with excellent air conditioning and a unique, twist-open key. The breakfast was hearty, but you had to walk into the ancient city. Also, there was no kettle. There was no elevator, so you had to climb the stairs. Parking was free and safe on the street. The front desk guy helped carry your luggage...

Absolutely beautiful, and the room was spacious. The breakfast was excellent too! Even though it's a 3-minute walk away, the restaurant is fantastic; we had both breakfast and dinner there. The area is quiet with amazing views, and the balcony was great. They even gave us a complimentary bottle of wine!

A gem in Val d'Orchia. Family owned. They have a few locations in town and also an amazing restaurant. The staff is great. Rooms are spacious. Cool design. Highly recommended

This was our third stay in the old Capitano Hotel in San Quirico, and the best! We stayed 4 nights in room 23 (Capricorno), a large suite with windows opening onto the street. Bathroom a bit muddle in layout, shower, no bath. The bed was large, very comfortable, beamed ceilings, fun, quirky lights, cavernous space! Lovely hotel. Very friendly staff who were very helpful. The let done was being charged to take our bags to the accommodation. Also when I arrived at reception the man watched me trying to get up the steps with my suitcase and didn’t offer to help. The restaurant was superb for dinner and breakfast. Very comfy rooms.

We were a little disappointed with the room. The room was renovated recently very minimalistic. The bathroom was not clean and the shower had mold growing in it. The room also had a loft that serves no purpose.

Beautiful space, you need a few days to understand the rhythm of the town. We were there only a day, which was not enough for a place like this.

Our Home in Tuscany We spent wonderful days at Agriturismo Cantagalli, excellent accommodation in a quiet place with a beautiful view of the city of San Quirino D'Orcia. Well located for exploring the region, Pienza, Montepulciano, Montaltino. Mr. Riccardo is extremely attentive and courteous, and uses technology to speak several languages.

Located in the center of charming villages and unique landscapes. The agriturismo has a rustic, country atmosphere, but the amenities are complete. Furthermore, the peace and quiet are remarkable. Unfortunately, the road is partly unpaved and dusty, making it dirty for the car.

Nice and confortable! Nice appartement. The rooms were clean, and spacious. You have a nice view and San Quirico d'Orcia is near. Ac worked well...very appreciated in july! Having two complete bathroom was a treat!

A magical place. A truly wonderful place, quiet, and comfortable in the apartment, beyond our expectations. Everything you need is there, including a small welcome breakfast kit. The road is a bit bumpy (and unpaved), but it's part of the landscape. We'll definitely be back!

This farmhouse is perfect for its location, not far from any village you want to go to. The cleanliness is impeccable and the house where I was was equipped with everything! The owner is very kind and helpful and his oil (for sale) really great. I will definitely come back!
