We recommend the Toscana Ambassador to everyone, as we had a great experience with its cleanliness, hospitality, friendliness, and an extraordinary breakfast, with excellent service from Ada & Julia and the rest of the crew, from the front desk to room service. If you ever visit Poggibonsi, Tuscany, stay here with no hesitation.

The staff took great care of us. Found us a late night taxi to take us to and from wedding at wine villa. Served Beers after bar was closed (fyi— the bar was never open). Made up the room even with do not disturb on door. Easy, close parking!

An okay hotel, but a bit neglected facilities that could use some modernisation. Staff was friendly and nice breakfast, but the rooms feels a bit dusty and out of date. Nice area though with some good restaurants within walking distance.

Amazing for a short stay near Chianti Classico. It’s a strategic location and close to all the main spots in the region.

There is a parking lot opposite, parking is very convenient, there is a supermarket next to it, you can go in and shop, the room is also modern

Room was nice and spacious. Air conditioner barely kept up with the heat. Had mosquitoes in the room the second night and don’t know how it got in the room. Overall all it’s a decent place to stay.

I liked the breakfast, lots of choice and was until 10am- quite late. So, I didn't have the pressure to wake up very early for the breakfast. I have received little discount for the restaurant- I didn't use it but was lovely.

The place is incredible. On top of the hill, very traditional with a great view overlooking San Giminano. The staff is very helpful, they do everything to provide an excellent stay for the guests.

Karen was very helpful because I didn’t have a car so she took me to the bus stop numerous times as there are no shops or restaurants near by. Very relaxing calm place to visit.

Beautiful location alone on a hill. Good size apartment with kitchen and a small “private” garden space outside the door. Big pool with great scenic views! Barbecue area with a roofed area. Sweet staff! We’ll return!

The people were lovely and extremely knowledgeable about the area and the history of the hotel! The property is gorgeous. The pool was nice and the breakfast was great. The bathroom had a large shower and excellent water pressure.

I had two amazing days at Antico borgo San lorenzo with my girlfriend. Staff is really kind and the surroundings are increadible with fields all over. I would definately recommend the place! Best Jakob, DK

A little gem in Tuscany’s countryside. The place is beautiful, an old ‘borgo’ in the middle of Tuscany’s vines and vegetation, an oasis of calm and tranquility. The swimming pool allows to refresh in the warm days. The restaurant was top quality.

We spent 5 days at this hotel with our club. The hotel itself is fine, the location is a little bit on the outskirts of town, but it is an easy 20 minute walk. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had the 1/2 pension which included breakfast and dinner. The breakfast was ok, but for cyclists, it would have been nice to have either muesli or oatmeal instead of cakes (even if they were homemade...

Very nice location overlooking the countryside. Very relaxing atmosphere. The property is a 5-minute drive from Poggibonsi. Highly recommended for those who have to have eye surgery in the Siena Eye Laser clinic and are accompanied. The breakfast was very good and plentiful. The rooms very clean.

Perfectly situated in the middle of Tuscany, allows to visit all the parts of this amazing land comfortably. The host, Alessandro, is super-friendly and really knowledgeable of the area. He can give recommendations of places to visits and restaurants for having a nice dinner. He went also the extra mile and rented bikes for us. The bikes were provided by another company and were conveniently available...

This was the most adorable B&B and the owner was so kind and helpful! My favorite part was the beautiful outdoor area overlooking the Tuscan hills and vineyards. We were able to watch the sunset each night while we stayed here - and we especially enjoyed the swing outside! Such a pleasant place to stay in the countryside. Quiet, peaceful with outstanding views. Our host was extremely helpful in providing us with maps and directions to local sights. He also provided delicious breakfasts with eggs made to order and coffee drinks. Our room was spacious and pleasently quiet for great night's sleeping.

This place is heaven on earth - the property has a unique atmosphere thanks to beautiful views on the surrounding hills, you can rest in one of the hammocks while the owner is playing piano. Rooms are nicely furnished and clean and the breakfast is really good.

This is lovely remote accommodation, set in a converted farmhouse. Gianni, the owner, did the conversion himself and runs the place single handedly (which includes the baking of delicious cakes for breakfast). The views are spectacular, the rooms are spacious and the location is very central for visiting pretty much all of Tuscany, particularly Florence, San Gimignano and Volterra.

Staff were great! They allowed me to park my motorcycle in their garage. The breakfast was appropriate and staff friendly. My concerns were that the hotel room was very old and dated. The bathroom was not that clean and there was no air conditioning (it was very hot). The staff alone are worth staying there.

The hotel is 3 min walk from the station. I was greeted my friendly gentleman. The room was very clean. I would stay there again

It is in an amazing location with a view of the whole dramatic Tuscan valley. You can see estates, olive trees and and vineyards for miles. There are set aside private areas for each room and communal areas all well maintained. The kind family are always available and helpful. We had a very warm reception by Iliena and her daughter. Both were very helpful in organizing restaurants in the area and proposing sites worth seeing. Iliena also showed me how to pay for a ticket (wrong parking) in Italy. Very interesting experience! The public area of the site is simple but ok.

This was our third stay at San Lucchese and we love everything about it. The staff are so friendly and go out of their way to make your stay memorable. It's a majestic, family run hotel, with old Italian charm and is a great base for exploring Tuscany. The restaurant is one of the best in the area and Aunt Lucia's breakfast omelettes and cakes are the best!
