Nice location -- convenient if you drive to the city. Good breakfast -- an abundant choice for a proper start to the day. Quiet and clean room.

The electricity went out on only one side of the room, housekeeping was terrible and room safe was broken from the check in. All of which never got resolved. But apart from them, the rest of staff are really friendly and dedicated, that I complement. Location wise, it is away from touristic centre. The reception was good. Jonathan, Carola and the other guy unfortunately I forgot his were excellent. Food was not good. The water pressure in the bathroom was very low, the shower was broken, and so was the toilet. The experience was pretty mediocre, and the bed was very narrow.

Overall, it was convenient and suitable, though a bit noisy since it's right by the road.

Super experience at this hostel, especially for the staff and cleanliness ! Staff is very helpful and nice. If you don't have a car and you count on trains trams and buses, you'd still have to walk around 15 min to get to the trams but hey good to walk a bit everyday ! Highly recommended !

A gem in the Tuscan hills. Excellent service and professionalism. Adriana is always available for any need and is incredibly sweet. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the breakfast is more than satisfying. Recommended for those seeking peace and relaxation but who don't want to miss Florence, which is only 15 minutes away by Scandicci tram.

Very nice B&B on the hills of Scandicci, clean room, super breakfast, very nice and helpful owner, the only very small flaw is the highway that passes not far from the B&B and unfortunately it is so noisy that if you have a room facing the highway it does not allow you to sleep with the windows open. Apart from this, a place to definitely return to.

A very basic hotel with an excellent restaurant and very helpful staff. 20 mins away from Florence catch the T1 into the city. We liked the hotel but its very old fashioned and may not appeal to everyone. Excellent value for money.

Staff were very nice. Room and bathroom size was good, nice and close to tram/light rail. The restaurant that is attached to Hotel Alex was so nice I really did enjoy the dinners I had there. The owners live on the lower level of the house with their own entrance. It's a bit more worn than the images imply: some stuff in the kitchen are falling apart (dust bin, som utensils), some of the outdoor concrete is cracked and may cause you to step on some hurtful grit.
