Nice location -- convenient if you drive to the city.

The electricity went out on only one side of the room, housekeeping was terrible and room safe was broken from the check in. All of which never got resolved.
But apart from them, the rest of staff are really friendly and dedicated, that I complement.
Location wise, it is away from touristic centre.
But this must be good base for tourists who move around in an organised tour.
Or for someone who want to go to not only city centre but also want to explore nearby area as well.

The reception was good. Jonathan, Carola and the other guy unfortunately I forgot his were excellent. Food was not good. I was served with an overgrown artichoke which was hardly chewable. service not good except t for the shuttle service which was exceptionally good , the drivers know what customer service is all about. Thank you drivers.much appreciated.
The room cleaning was not done well. The bed was not turned for the night. Passage carpet was not vacuumed and was visibly littered with dirt. Tub was not cleaned even though it was evidently dirty. I had a meal in the room and the tray was not removed at all. The bathroom floor. was dirty.

The water pressure in the bathroom was very low, the shower was broken, and so was the toilet. The experience was pretty mediocre, and the bed was very narrow.

I just wanted to express my appreciation for the wonderful service during my recent stay.
Although the hotel is located around 5 km from the city centre, the complimentary daily shuttle van made getting into town very convenient and stress-free.
The staff were incredibly friendly, proactive, and helpful throughout my stay. They kindly assisted me with my luggage and were very supportive during both check-in and check-out.

We had a nice stay at the Doubletree by Hilton Florence Metropole. The executive lounge was definitely an added bonus!
Just some small pointers that made this stay slightly disappointing.
1) parking costs 10 euro. now you might tell me, bro, 10 euro!!! that's nothing. And you might be right, but still, it just seems like a small way for this hotel to make another 10 euro per customer when the parking can just be free.
2) BEWARE: the whirlpool is not free!! It costs 20 euro per person.
3) We had some issues with our ac. Although we were able to adjust the settings and to put it on, it kept on going off after 10 minutes or so. Bummer!
Overall we had a nice stay. The rooms were clean and neat. But there is some small things that just made our stay slightly less than perfect.
