Absolutely terrible. I thought hotels in smaller towns would offer better value for money, but the opposite was true, just like prices in rural areas aren't necessarily lower than in cities. The single room had a persistent smell of smoke that just wouldn't go away. This is the only hotel I've ever stayed in that's been this bad; I opened the windows for hours to ventilate, but it didn't help. Like many places in Italy, the heating was only available for limited hours, and I was woken up freezing. They only gave me a blanket and a sheet to cover myself with. The soundproofing was incredibly poor; I was woken up in the middle of the night by a family coming home from outside. I was furious! How could they stay out so late in this small town?

Our room was spotless and comfy. The hotel is in a great location in the historic center and an easy walk to the bus station.

What a great experience we had at this hotel. Service was amazing, the building has so many great attractions. The room we had was great, we were in 501 which is on the top floor and the view from the bathroom alone was stunning. Perfect location to walk around the old town and have a great touring and dining experience.

Disappointing stay, although the staff were very nice. The bathroom is tinier than tiny - luckily we’re both small but many people wouldn’t fit in it. The internet signal was not strong enough to connect. Every time someone stepped into the hallway our door shuddered and sounded like someone was trying to open it. The photos on are very deceptive. Definitely wouldn’t stay here again.

Is it value for money? Not so sure. Lousy reception service, tricky and failed comments about how to find a parking spot, the availability of non-existing breakfast (or in the super narrow reception “hole” 4€ croissant/coffee), not maintained rooms, overall: unhappy experience for an established couple.

The property is within walking distance to main attractions, and the stay was comfortable and decent overall. A good option for a short visit.

Was quiet and comfortable, shower was amazing. Also the staff were very welcoming and accommodating let me drop my bag off early and let me keep it there after check out so I could still explore the city

Nice room. Worn down, but clean bathroom. The view from the balcon was amazing!
