Hotel Niagara in Lido di Jesolo

Bathroom 🚽 n room really small and had big crack across bathroom wall, really needed updated, room really small but comfortable bed and cleaned everyday. Breakfast not catered for English bacon was like plastic you couldn’t eat it, came in from a storm one night to go to bar to be told we couldn’t have a drink in the bar as there was a private event, very unfriendly attitude as we were staying in the hotel, a couple of nice ladies on reception but a rude young girl aswell a nice bar lady, but a very rude barman too, only good thing about the hotel really was the location right on the beach and a nice 5 minute walk to town, never been to different parts of Italy over the years but 1st time I’ve had so many really bad meals, the whole week probably had 3 nice meals and one of those was in Venice

1-Reservation: We did the reservation thru *********** all good! 2-Breakfast: we had the breakfast at the hotel and I would rate as an average 3, Italian coffees are great but the coffee machine from the hotel doesn’t taste so! 3-Food/ Drinks: There are plenty of restaurants and bars very close to the hotel, from good price/ good food to very expensive ones 4- Rooms: unfortunately we had a very bad experience with the room: very old appliances : very very old air condition (not in good condition only the fan was working), bad/old fridge( was not working at all) with the hot weather you can imagine the frustration. Hair dryer- so old that I couldn’t use. Shower/ bathroom: old and small ( you could feel the bad smell) Bed: the beds are those you can put together like small and noisy TV: although we don’t go to the hotel to watch tv , but it was bad and the digital channels was not working. Noise rooms: The sound insulation is very bad we could hear the other rooms noise like the bathroom very noisy. Smoke: we could smell cigarette smoke from our room and there is no window in the hall which make even worse when we get out of the room. All these together made our experience very frustrated. 5- Atmosphere: Atmosphere at the hotel restaurant and beach/pool area are great! Sun-beds are included in the price ( if you don’t pick the first two rolls by the beach) 6- Price: card/ cash: I believe it’s very high priced over the quality presented! We paid all with card 7- English Menu: all places had English menu 8- Location: This is one of the best things, since the location of the hotel is great right in the middle of the center in Jesolo.

Every time a door on my floor was closed my door moved and made noises. It woke me up when ppl came home in the middle of the night. The open buffet in the morning has a good selection but the staff contributing the food is not very pleasant. The beach is 'basic' at best. You can't really relax bc every 5 minutes there are people coming that want to sell you something. But I could look over all that if the gym thats open for all hotel guests was nice but it is a minimalistic area with waaay too few machines. Thats why three stars.
