Sabae Daiichi Hotel in Fukui

⭐ A warm hotel you'll want to return to again and again
I use this hotel every time I travel or go on business trips. The reason I keep coming back is, first and foremost, the delicious breakfast. It's so satisfying and energizing, it starts the day off right.
And above all, the staff's smiles are truly memorable. From check-in to check-out, they provide such pleasant service that it really helps to ease the fatigue of business.
Personally, I was impressed by the electric blankets provided during the cold season. They gently warmed my chilled body and allowed me to sleep soundly. It's these little touches that make me want to stay here again.
Although it's not flashy, the hotel's comfort and warm hospitality make it a place where you can feel at ease.

The Sabae Dai-Ichi Hotel was a pleasant surprise. Seemingly a family-run operation (although a little large to seem such from the outside), with very nice staff, heaps of cute hand-made signs and notices, and a noticeable attention to overall cleanliness and amenities.

The biggest surprise was the breakfast though -- the dining hall is full of homemade/locally made jams and spreads. Breakfast itself wasn't enormous but it was better than a lot of places that charge more.

Overall, I had A very pleasant stay...

Rate was decent, ~6000 yen which included breakfast.

It's a business hotel that's like a friend of the common people.

Dinner is not served, but there are many restaurants in the area and access is very convenient.

The miso soup with a lot of breakfast ingredients was delicious and I had a luxury from the morning.

I have used this hotel twice, 8 years ago and 5 years ago, and I am thinking of using it once before the end of the year.
The last two times I stayed, I was very impressed not only by the low price, but also by the delicious breakfast and the attentiveness of the staff.
If you are in the Sabae/Takefu area, there is no reason not to choose this hotel.
It seems that there are some people who have a heartless low evaluation, but if you are dissatisfied with this price and hospitality, I think you should go to a slightly higher and beautiful hotel.

Postscript: I stayed for the third time in five years on September 10, 2022.
It was a homely atmosphere with the same warmth and good hospitality.
The breakfast may not be extravagant, but it's all homemade, hearty and delicious miso soup, pickles, tsukudani, and curry.
Breakfast is more than enough. Thank you very much for your help when I go to Sabae again!

I used it for business trip reasons.
Convenience stores and supermarkets were nearby, so there was no inconvenience.
There was a large public bath, so I was able to enter it very comfortably.
The hotel itself was an old-fashioned business hotel, but it was very easy to understand because there were notes and recommended introductions at the hotel in the lobby elevator.
At night, when I was going to eat cup ramen, I didn't have chopsticks and tried to get one at the convenience store next door, but I asked the lobby if I could get one. One word.
The out-of-the-box service was very helpful. I will use it again next time.
