Kanazawa Hakuchoro Hotel Sanraku

It's still far from Kanazawa Station. Although there are shuttle buses, you can't figure out where to get on the bus when you first arrive, so you have to take a taxi, which costs 1100-1200 yen, which is not expensive. The hotel facilities are a bit old, but well maintained. It's very quiet, and someone plays the piano at night. Most of the guests staying are local tourists and Westerners. What I'm not satisfied with is that the water volume in the shower room is too small. I can only take a bath in the public bathhouse for two nights. The breakfast is pure Japanese style, but it's not bad. It's not far from Kanazawa Park and Kenrokuen Garden, which can be reached within half an hour on foot. The art museum is also in the same direction, which can be reached within 45 minutes on foot.

The hotel is very close to Kanazawa Castle and Kenrokuen Garden. The Japanese-style room is spacious and bright, with the scenery of Kanazawa Castle outside the window, and the bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas.

The overall feeling is good, the transportation is convenient, many attractions can be reached on foot, the nearby Ting Seafood Market is not far away, there is a bus to the station, very convenient

The hotel shuttle bus does not go directly to the station. It stops at another hotel in the middle. It takes 25 minutes to arrive. Please leave enough time to catch the bus.

An old-fashioned hot spring hotel with a great atmosphere! The rooms are comfortable and the software services are more considerate: including luggage delivery to the room, newspapers delivered to the door every morning, free Yakult and ice cream in the hot spring bath, and plenty of drinks in the room minibar! There is a piano performance in the lobby bar at 9:10 pm, and there is a free shuttle bus to the train station!
This is the most generous hotel I have ever stayed in Japan, thank you for the hospitality!

The hotel is located in a quiet location, next to Kanazawa Castle Park, the largest park in Kanazawa. Kanazawa's public transportation is not very developed, and there are not many tram lines. It is more convenient to arrive at the hotel by taking the hotel's own shuttle bus. There are 5 buses starting from 10:50 a day, and the last bus is at 16:20. It costs about 1,000 yen to take a taxi. The distance is not far and it is not expensive.

From the moment you step into the lobby, you can feel the hotel's sense of history. The decoration is more Western-style and low-key and luxurious. The hotel has only 6 floors in total. We live on the executive floor on the 6th floor, and we are given a drink and breakfast for each person in the afternoon.

The hotel service staff has a good attitude, which is a typical Japanese service. On rainy days, someone will send and collect umbrellas. The English level is acceptable and can communicate basically.

There is a public hot spring on the first floor of the hotel. The male pool is not large and can accommodate several people, but fortunately there don't seem to be many people. This hotel does not exchange male and female baths, so you can only experience one.

The hotel is located near the scenic spots. You can walk to Kanazawa Castle Park and Omi Town Market in 5 hours. You can also visit Tamaya Street a little further away.
I didn’t go to other art museums and cultural centers because I didn’t know how to appreciate them.

There is a bus from the hotel to Kanazawa Station from 1000 to 1500 in the morning.

It doesn’t look like a hotel on the outside, but the interior decoration is very Japanese-style, and there are many kinds of free drinks provided after soaking in the hot springs. You can consider giving it a try when you go to Kanazawa in winter.

It can be seen that it is an old hotel, but the room is neat, clean, classic and elegant, and very spacious. The hotel has a shuttle bus to and from Kanazawa Station, which is very convenient, and it is also close to Kenrokuen Garden.
