This was my first time staying at Kamenoi Hotel. The service from the staff at the front desk, restaurant, and souvenir shop was warm and wonderful. The Kamenoi Hotel T-shirt was so cute I couldn't help but buy one. I will recommend this hotel to my friends. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Fukui. The rooms are Japanese-style, and the bathtub is nice. Dinner is good, though served slowly, and has a Michelin-star quality. Breakfast is average. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to Kaga Station (advance reservations are required). If you're visiting Kanazawa, it's worth a trip.

Huazi is about a 25-minute drive from Kaga Onsen Station. The hotel will send an email to inquire about the arrival time and provide free pick-up. Beautiful Ryokan and surrounding

It's OK in every aspect, but the food is not the best, just average. And my contract specifications are very high, but on the first floor, the air is not cool

This onsen hotel is very traditional, that’s what we wanted. The service is excellent and warm. Dinner and breakfast are really with regional ingredients.

Good place to recharge in between trips

A great hot spring hotel with one night and two meals. The service is great. The Kaiseki dinner and breakfast are delicious and tasty. I definitely recommend it! The room is very spacious and the private bath gives you the freedom to bathe whenever you want. It's great!

The room was super big love the private bath, the hotel staff was very nice. Both meals were awesome.

Almost everything was in tip top condition including our requests for a vegetarian dunner and breakfast for one of our friends. Perhaps a hostess more fluent in english would have been helpful but anyway she was most gracious, attentive and courteous. The amenities, food and service were really great!

This hotel truly deserves its five-star rating. It's excellent. Although it's a bit far from the station, they offer a shuttle service, which is great.

The rooms are clean and the hot spring facilities are varied. The staff were friendly and helpful, even recommending nearby restaurants. You can also use the sister hot spring, Ruriko.

I really loved this hotel; unfortunately, I only stayed one night, but it was totally worth it! I'd love to come back again.

The room was clean, but it was a shame there wasn't a dinner-inclusive plan for solo travelers (or maybe I just couldn't find one?). Generally, I think the service is good, but I did notice some of the staff (waitresses?) chatting in the entrance while waiting for guests. I thought it might be better for them to wait in the back-of-house instead.

Traveling solo, I splurged on a Japanese-style room that could probably fit four people. It's an older ryokan, but that didn't really detract from the experience. This is a traditional Japanese hotel with an excellent location and good service. The public bath is open 24 hours, and the rooms are large and comfortable, though the facilities are a bit dated. Overall, it offers great value for money. The WiFi doesn't reach all rooms, and there's no signal at all on the fourth floor, which needs improvement.

The hotel is a bit remote and the facilities are a bit old. It takes 15 minutes to walk to Gusoyu (one of the attractions), and all the nearby shops are open after 5 pm, so if you arrive before 3 pm, it is very inconvenient to go out and find food! The room is big enough and clean

I took my mother, who has trouble walking, with me, and they provided a wheelchair for her, and a Japanese-Western style room for her, who has trouble getting out of bed, which was very helpful. Of course, the hot springs were also very pleasant, and my mother was very happy with them.

It’s in the middle of nowhere. Though it has been expected, but when we arrived, it is indeed Not near anything. The hotel provides shuttle service from the Kaga Onsen station.
