However, it would be better to put a sign in the changing room inside the public bath. So, foriegners will be able to follow the English instructions (with a bigger font to read easily)
Very good breakfast and dinner options, we enjoyed the meal very much. The room view also very good. Thank you.
We, as a family of 6 members, came to stay in this lovely hotel. The members of staff were very friendly and helpful. The dinner and breakfast were very authentic (the Japanese style)
Reasonable price, clean and hygienic. Breakfast is not expensive and delicious. Very cost-effective.
The decoration is relatively new and more suitable for self-driving tours.
Overall, this is an excellent and cosy hotel

I'll definitely stay here again next time. I overslept, and they didn't charge me extra for a one-hour late checkout, which was a fantastic service. This is the most comfortable hotel I've stayed at in Japan
Good location near JR station and by 狩野川,wonderful breakfast buffet, sound proof room from which you can see Mt Fuji on a clear day. 狩野川is by the hotel where you can walk to the port and the fish market.
This hotel is located right next door to the real-life inspiration for Yoshiko's house from the anime. On the second floor, right next to the front desk, there's a special private bath room
Extremely affordable, and the ladies at the front desk were lovely. A special shout-out to the Japanese university student who is studying Chinese; she was incredibly kind and welcoming
Both the service and cleanliness were excellent, though the facilities felt a little dated. The view from the window was also fantastic; on a clear day, you could even see Mount Fuji
I had the privilege of visiting Numazu, the hometown of Aqours, during the summer vacation. This time, I stayed at the Riverview Hotel, which is the model for Yohane's home

A great hotel, very close to the station, and there is a convenience store next to it. The front desk staff and the housekeeping staff are very friendly, and the breakfast they provide is also delicious
The place was without fault and the breakfast buffet was very nice, the only thing I guess to mention is that there's a bit of a step from the room to the bathroom but once you know about it then it's a non-issue.
The location was incredibly convenient, and my stay was very comfortable. The complimentary drink service and breakfast were both delicious. I would definitely love to stay here again. Thank you!
Absolutely lovely hotel and staff. They have a large selection of free items such as toiletries that go beyond what you get in most hotels
You can also do your laundry for free and they can give you a free bike for the day if you ask. The room itself is a bit old, but very clean and comfortable. Single bedroom is perfectly sized for a single traveller
The room is a bit small. There's a refrigerator and toiletries. Breakfast is included. Many chikas are available.

However, the young man at the front desk, who spoke excellent English, patiently helped us check it and arranged a room change, which ensured our stay and experience weren't negatively impacted
The room was very spacious, and the view was beautiful!
The staff were courteous and helpful throughout my stay, with special thanks to the female manager who went above and beyond to provide additional support (e. taxi booking to Numazu Metro station)
It was a great room, and we were lucky with the view - Fuji-san showed up. The hotel provided a free transfer service from the station. An interesting Japanese dinner in the kaiseki format.
I stayed at Awashima Hotel, located on an island, after arriving at Narita Airport on 17th Nov 25. The transfer took about three hours, but the journey was absolutely worth it
A very satisfying stay on a private island. If you're not in a rush, you can easily spend two relaxing days here. The hotel's shuttle service was excellent

The food was careful curated and thought out, each course was delicious and featured seasonal items.   The onsen was also stunning with an indoor and outdoor area and all amenities needed.   Highly recommend this hotel
A bit out of the way for the usual travelers in Japan, but nice for those looking to be out of the hustle and bustle of tourist season. Place was nice, onsen was slightly open air.
A high-value-for-money stay with no noticeable downsides. All rooms offer sea views and there are both indoor and outdoor hot springs
I'd definitely book there again next time. The breakfast was very filling and not expensive, but unfortunately, my dearest grandmother passed away at the time, so I wasn't in the mood to go out
One of the best hotel experiences I’ve had! The staff were so kind and thoughtful. The room was beautiful with a stunning view of the bay. Highly recommend getting there breakfast or dinner
The inn had a wide range of amenities, and the room had two hair dryers and two sinks, so as just two girls traveling with a friend, we were able to have a very comfortable stay

Fuji could be clearly seen across the sea, and I was impressed by the beautiful view. I spent a luxurious time enjoying the changing expressions of Mt. Fuji and the sea depending on the time of day
Everything was the best hospitality, and I was able to refresh both my body and mind. I would love to visit again in a different season
From outside it s a very simple hotel. Just arrived by car the staff were waiting for us. Room are incredible with private onsen ( more expensive room) with amazing view on Fuji ( if weather is good)
The kaiseki cuisine was also beautiful to look at, and each dish was carefully prepared, making it a memorable delicacy. I thoroughly enjoyed the delicate flavors made with local ingredients
Many years have passed, and now that we are through the COVID-19 pandemic, my husband asked me, "What kind of inn would you like to go to for your birthday this year?" I answered Shotokan
In addition, I was blessed with the opportunity to see the works of famous Japanese painters on display in the building, and I was very happy to be able to experience art unexpectedly

The facilities may feel a bit dated, but they're well-equipped with amenities like a large public bath (including an open-air bath), foot bath, washing machine, massage chair, and bar
The sea view from the room was nice, but don't be alarmed by all the bugs crawling on the windows at night
For dinner, I chose the "Seafood & Mountain Food Plan" and it was delicious. However, it was a bit disappointing that the room was not cleaned properly.
Although it's not in the heart of Numazu, its location along the beach makes it a great place for a quiet stroll. Nearby is Koyotei Memorial Park, so guests should definitely stop by
A shuttle bus is available for check-out, so if your schedule allows, it might be a good idea to take advantage of it
Old school onsen located directly across from the beach.

This is my favorite Toyoko Inn. The staff are all very nice, the buffet breakfast is excellent and not crowded in the morning, the room is clean and quiet!
Very good room and very satisfied
The soundproofing of the door is weak, so voices from other rooms leak into the hallway. It's not a big deal if you're in the room, but there are lots of noisy voices at night and with children.
I made a mistake with the non-smoking/smoking reservation. I wish it was easier to understand.
If you just want to sleep, there's no problem.

Beautifully designed facility, calm, comfortable and relaxing. Enjoyed the setting, the sound of the sea, view of Fuji san from our room. Restaurant and wine list was pleasant surprise, the quality/value
The historic buildings, traditional Japanese garden, wabi-sabi–style water basin, and carefully maintained greenery all create a peaceful atmosphere that feels like a hidden retreat away from the busy world
The room was extremely relaxing. I especially loved the open-air bath, and sitting on the balcony while looking out over the lush greenery was wonderfully calming
Both dinner and breakfast feature Japanese-style Chinese cuisine, with every dish beautifully presented and full of flavor. Would definitely love to visit again!
Delicious meal with local ingredients supervised by chef Hirofumi Saito from Ichirin Hanare Prices. $1161 half board including alcohol (week days much cheaper) Rating. 5/5 wonderful staff and experience
About two years ago, during a short business trip to Tokyo, I decided to spend a weekend visiting Numazu and instantly fell in love with the area
