Hotel Route Inn Yamaguchi Yudaonsen, Yamaguchi1 / 25
8.7
Yamaguchi, 9-1 Sentocho (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Good experience. 2nd time staying at Route-Inn. Notice the chain is not near any train station. Has to be driving to stay in the hotel. Onsen is decent
room is big. resturant dinner pricr reasonable. good outdoor onsen
However, the price is reasonable, and the service is excellent, so I'm very satisfied
Public bath small but authentic. Need access card from reception to enter n to return after use. Room size adequate but no Bottled water given so we had to buy own water. Nothing on toiletries   to collect for ladies
But actually the hotel ignore early check-in, so I must paid 1000 yen for nothing to do at the room. I think the hotel don’t get any good mindset to traveler and don’t have any flexible about the rule of conditions
The breakfast area was a bit crowded, but I liked that I could eat at my own pace.

Comfort Hotel Shin Yamaguchi, Yamaguchi1 / 30
8.9
Yamaguchi, 2-7-21 Ogori-Meiji (12 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The environment and the service is good. The breakfast is so nice.
There are several options at different price levels, and the hotel recommends which one to use upon check-in but be advised that the parking lots begin to fill up as the day gets later so the later you arrive, the more you pay for parking, and hopefully all does not fill up
Rooms were clean, check in was easy, breakfast was satisfactory. The info related to parking in the reviews is incorrect. The hotel does not have its own parking and you need to use pay parking close by the hotel
It was a quick one night stay for us as we were visiting a Parkrun located relatively near by. The hotel was next to the train station which made travel extremely convenient for where we needed to be
It’s a beautiful little area and the hotel was ideal. Staff extremely helpful, room was clean, cosy and well looked after. If certainly stay again and it’s perfect for a one night stay!
The food for their breakfast was superb and has a lot to choose and munch on.

We had a good night's sleep at this hotel. Would stay with them again next time we are in Saga city.
Everything good no complaints.
It's very conveniently located in front of Shin-Yamaguchi Station. The room was clean and bright, and the free breakfast included a variety of delicious Japanese rice balls
It's a convenient 5-minute walk from Shin-Yamaguchi Station. The room was comfortable and breakfast was included.
It was a great value! Also, the amenities and yukatas were eco-friendly and free to use
Enjoy the taste of Yamaguchi with Kawara soba noodles for breakfast

The staff were very helpful, even at night, and I was provided with a work kimono (work clothes), two towels, slippers, and other amenities, and I could even choose my own pillow, so I was very satisfied! Absolutely perfect!
It's not a new hotel, but it's clean. The front desk staff were very helpful. However, I would have liked it if they had provided some skin lotion or other amenities.
The hotel interior has been remodeled into capsule rooms, making it a very comfortable place to stay. I highly recommend it when you visit Yamaguchi.
The location was great, and I was able to walk to the Ruri Five-Story Pagoda
The hotel is located right next to the Yamaguchi Prefectural Museum, Art Museum, and Library, in the heart of a small park. The train station is about a 10-minute walk away
Had everything I needed for a quick trip.

Yudaonsen Ubl Hotel Matsumasa, Yamaguchi1 / 21

Yamaguchi, 3-5-8 Yudaonsen (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The staff were very friendly, the food was delicious, and the selection of drinks was good.
The room and meals were all as expected. Notably, the large bathhouse boasts a wide selection of Tabibijin products. I highly recommend the sake lees mask (pictured in Figures 1 and 2) and the blue-bottled toner
Among the Yuda Onsen hotels, this was one I really wanted to visit. While it's older, it was cleaner than I expected, and the service was excellent. The hot springs were also fantastic
After check-in the staff explained the location of eating and the hotel hot spring, and took me to the ground room and arranged meal time, can let me rest before going to the restaurant, will not be in a hurry
They had fugu sashimi, a small hot pot, fugu chawanmushi, and small fugu tempura. 😅 The waiters were very attentive, explaining the ingredients and cooking methods for each dish so we could savor the flavors
They were incredibly helpful and polite, going so far as to provide me with hot water when I needed, I was also greatly appreciated. I would definitely recommend this hotel

Yamaguchi, 4-4-3 Yudaonsen, Yamaguchi-shi (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
In the middle of the Yudaonsen, near convenience store, in house hot springs is ok. Room has good space and new toilet refurbished. Staff is very helpful ful. Will come again.
The room was very clean and I was able to relax. I was looking forward to the hot springs, so it would have been great if it had been a little larger and had an open-air bath.
One thing that bothered me was that a Korean or Chinese person got into the bathtub without washing themselves, and after soaking for a long time, they started lying down on the edge of the bathtub, which made me feel uncomfortable
The hotel has a large sense of space. This is definitely one of the five largest rooms I've had in my nearly 30 years of staying in Japanese hotels. There are relatively few places to shower in the large public bath
It was very convenient that the lights in the room would automatically turn on when you went to the entrance or the toilet. The location is great for getting out to the town of Yuda.
There are three set times for breakfast. Each segment is only half an hour long. A bit stressful for us leisure travelers. Others generally satisfactory

It's clean and the location is good. I want to go again.
Breakfast is quite a wide range and is a Japanese-style and has Continental options too
Tv, ac, good shower and nice food
Very clean and comfortable, big both tub
Just crossing the street, outside the train station you find this hotel, perfect for buissness, includes brakefast, free wifi, and good rooms let you rest well. Its not the newest, but its clean and in good price
Lovely hotel with an amazing location being right across from the South Exit of Shin-Yamaguchi Station. There is no convenience store/konbini in the hotel but there is one across the road and another at the station

Amazing ryokan in town with a beautiful Japanese style garden inside. Old with very good care garden stunned me for hours. Clean and new designed Japanese style bedroom made me feel like my home
GREAT LOCATION WITH VERY AUTHENTIC JAPANESE ROOMS. FACILITIES ARE A BIT OLD BUT SERVICE IS VERY GOOD.
The hotel building itself boasts 300 years of history, elegant and refined, while the amenities are convenient and modern, creating a seamless experience! The classic Japanese garden is incredibly beautiful and highly recommended! There are two public baths, as well as two separate, gender-neutral baths for morning and evening use, and two family baths, perfect for those who value privacy
The service was impeccable! We booked a twin room with a city view, including breakfast and dinner. Dining was done in a private room. Although we don't speak Japanese, our butler, Mr
We are so grateful! 🙏🏻 We stayed here for two nights and everything was wonderful! We're looking forward to returning in the winter! 😊
Saga, was very professional and diligent in explaining things to us, ensuring we understood the situation

Yamaguchi, 4 Chome-1-5 Yudaonsen, 753-0056 Yamaguchi, Prefektura Yamaguti, Yaponiya (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The hot springs in the hotel were very pleasant, and after checking in, there were free drinks, and I was surprised that there was even alcohol. The staff were very refreshing and polite, and it was a pleasant experience
Alcohol is available for unlimited consumption from 6 pm to 9 pm. It's a pity that there is only one hot spring pool, no cold pool or sauna, but the location is convenient and parking is only 400 yen.
Have osen and breakfast included. Multi storey car park is located next to the hotel and the parking fee for one night is 400 yen after you got coupon from hotel front desk
The room itself was very small, but there was a space on the first floor where we could eat and drink, so we were able to gather as a family and relax
Big room with nice accomodation and suitable price. Recommend to stay and don’t missed onsen (hotspring) in the hotel.
Excellent amenities, clean and efficient design, great breakfast

The onsen here is really good, especially their own source of onsen. Reception is also great, you can really feel the Japanese style omotenashi.
Service was nice, very polite and made me feel important ;) (FYI, not all Japan service are polite nowadays. And while I was bathing, an elderly was feeling unwell, and staff there took care of her very well
A great place with great food and nice views. The staff were also amazing and we had any various chats. I definitely recommend this place.
Firstly most onsen around here requires you to stay for at least one night to use the onsen. But this one you can just bath and go
The food was delicious, especially the breakfast. I felt they were particular about the fish.

Nishimuraya Hotel
Yamaguchi, 4-1-30 Yuda-Onsen (45 min from centre)
Nishimuraya is the quiet well-established Japanese-style ryokan and celebrated its centenary in 2006... . It used to be loved by the famous poet Nakahara Chuya and Taneda Santoka. It is located in the heart of the Yuda Onsen Resort and convenient for transportation. It is in a town, but extremely quiet because it is built lengthwise like a hotel of Kyoto. More...
