I guess double rooms are the norm? Our family of five ended up with three rooms. They were able to put us next to each other. It's located right in the middle of the hot spring town, so it seemed convenient to go out to eat. The room itself was very small, but there was a space on the first floor where we could eat and drink, so we were able to gather as a family and relax. The hot springs in the hotel...

Alcohol is available for unlimited consumption from 6 pm to 9 pm. It's a pity that there is only one hot spring pool, no cold pool or sauna, but the location is convenient and parking is only 400 yen.

Clean and relaxing hotel. Have osen and breakfast included. Multi storey car park is located next to the hotel and the parking fee for one night is 400 yen after you got coupon from hotel front desk. The hotel also provides different type of pillows and facial masks which can choose them from self service cabinets.

It is a cost-effective hotel, but the location is a bit strange. It stops at Yuda Onsen Station.

The hotel does not have its own parking and you need to use pay parking close by the hotel. There are several options at different price levels, and the hotel recommends which one to use upon check-in but be advised that the parking lots begin to fill up as the day gets later so...

It's right in front of the station, so it was easy to arrive late. It was nice to be able to take breakfast back to my room and eat it there.

When I was slow to check in, the staff seemed a little annoyed and kept rudely asking me to "enter your name," which left me feeling unfriendly and uncomfortable. The breakfast options were limited. I made the mistake of choosing this hotel based solely on its location.

Public bath small but authentic .Need access card from reception to enter n to return after use . Room size adequate but no Bottled water given so we had to buy own water . Car park ample space . Nothing on toiletries   to collect for ladies . Breakfast basic but sufficient

Its a perfect place to stay to enjoy and experience Yamaguchi. Its very accessible — just walking distance from the train station, and its at the center of the city this makes it easier to access highly recommended tourist spots in Yamaguchi. The staff are all friendly; the rooms are well maintained; and the food are great.

The premium-class single room has a massage machine, but it's difficult to use and can be hard for those unfamiliar with it. It smelled of sweat, so I wiped it down with deodorant before using it. The double bed was a single, so it was incredibly comfortable. The adjacent Onsen no Mori is a little old, but it was relaxing and the dinner was delicious. Although it was close to the road, it was quiet and I was able to sleep well. The kawara soba, yakisoba, and curry were delicious. Unfortunately, I couldn't take a bath in the hot spring in the morning because I had to use the hot spring facility next door.

The foods are so delicious i never expected it , and it was nice when you arrived at the hotel the staff is guided you through your room and explain you everything. I like to go back again.

After enjoying the hot springs that evening, we enjoyed a kaiseki meal—Yamaguchi Prefecture's famous fugu cuisine. 😋 It was our first time eating fugu. They had fugu sashimi, a small hot pot, fugu chawanmushi, and small fugu tempura. 😅 The waiters were very attentive, explaining the ingredients and cooking methods for each dish so we could savor the flavors. Among the Yuda Onsen hotels, this was one I really wanted to visit. While it's older, it was cleaner than I expected, and the service was excellent. The hot springs were also fantastic. My nephew, who was with me, said it was even better than Yufuin Onsen, so we soaked in the hot springs both morning and evening. I usually enjoy buffet breakfasts at hotels, but Matsumasa's breakfast was clean and delicious...

Lovely hotel with an amazing location being right across from the South Exit of Shin-Yamaguchi Station. There is no convenience store/konbini in the hotel but there is one across the road and another at the station. Breakfast is quite a wide range and is a Japanese-style and has Continental options too. Highly recommended!

It's located right next to Yamaguchi Station and is close to convenience stores and restaurants. The facilities feel a bit dated and lack amenities outside the rooms, but the Wi-Fi is fast and the breakfast is decent.

It was very clean and nice. I thought it would be a little noisy since it's in front of the station, but it was surprisingly quiet, which was great.

I stayed at the capsule hotel. The location was great, and I was able to walk to the Ruri Five-Story Pagoda. The staff were very helpful, even at night, and I was provided with a work kimono (work clothes), two towels, slippers, and other amenities, and I could even choose my own pillow, so I was very satisfied! Absolutely perfect!

The hotel interior has been remodeled into capsule rooms, making it a very comfortable place to stay. I highly recommend it when you visit Yamaguchi.

The hotel is located right next to the Yamaguchi Prefectural Museum, Art Museum, and Library, in the heart of a small park. The train station is about a 10-minute walk away. The facilities are a bit dated, reminiscent of hotels from the 1980s and 1990s.

located on the main street of yuda onsen. really old hotel in showa era. It was a good experience. onsen are great. the ogami show is great for people who grew up in showa and early heisei era. However, food is not great. those rooms are too old and broken, However, given the price is so affordable, i would definitely return for the onsen

The price/performance ratio is very high. The room is a bit old, but it does not affect the experience. The hot spring is very comfortable.

The ryokan was large and easy to find as it was located near a bus stop. The breakfast was delicious and the hostess show was nice, but the floor in the hot spring bathroom was broken and the blankets were stained, so it seemed like a little investment in the facilities was needed.

The front desk staff were very friendly and everyone was always smiling. One thing that bothered me was that a Korean or Chinese person got into the bathtub without washing themselves, and after soaking for a long time, they started lying down on the edge of the bathtub, which made me feel uncomfortable.

The hotel has a large sense of space. This is definitely one of the five largest rooms I've had in my nearly 30 years of staying in Japanese hotels. There are 28 square meters. It was a normal business hotel. It was nothing special. It's fine for a normal business hotel.

There are not many hot spring hotels to choose from in Yuda, so I came here for the history. The standard of one night and two meals is basic, but the price is a bit expensive for this facility.

This is a luxury ryokan, and as expected, everything was excellent. The hot spring baths were top-notch, and the customer service was excellent. However, for a ryokan, dinner wasn't included, yet the price was comparable to ryokans that included dinner. In short, I think the value for money is questionable.

This is an inn that has a sense of history. The building itself is old, but that's one of the things to enjoy, I think. If you like the history of the Meiji Restoration, this is a must-visit!

Was here for a day trip onsen. Firstly most onsen around here requires you to stay for at least one night to use the onsen. But this one you can just bath and go. Service was nice, very polite and made me feel important ;) (FYI, not all Japan service are polite nowadays...). And while I was bathing, an elderly was feeling unwell, and staff there took care of her very well.

The onsen here is really good, especially their own source of onsen. Reception is also great, you can really feel the Japanese style omotenashi.
